I have a tendency to rush music-- the metronome helps me learn to keep a steady rhythm, reveals where my tendencies to rush are hiding. Also, I really appreciate being able to adjust how many sounds per beat. This helps me with complicated music, like playing triplets against sixteenth notes. There is nothing about this app that I dislike.
I give this app five stars as it is not complicated at all to use and it is very simple and easy. It allows you to choose the speed you feel comfortable with while you play. I have had a great experience when using this app to practice violin.
I've tried many apps, this is by far the best. And it's constantly improving features, like with the new drums or polyrhythms. Also ads are not as aggressive. I'm using the metronome for my guitar lessons.
Really nice and easy to use app! And it's a good thing you can change the tempo while the phone is locked (if you use metronome a lot you need to save battery somehow)! It's also useful that you can go up and down by 5bpm fast!
Just started using it but I think this is the one. Tried about 6 others all had annoying things missing, or not optional. It's got a flexible drum program grid, haven't even seen that in drum machine apps.
Was looking for a metronome and came across this. Metronome Beats is educational for people like me. I don't know music as well as most, but I like drumming. MB I'd also fun. It lets you take existing beats and alter them to create your own rythum. I really hope to use this app for a while, so kudos and good job. Happy rythum Good heartbeat
This works extremely well for my exercise routine. One beat per measure for my chosen rate per minute. My favorite (apparently unique) feature is the ability to increase the tempo automatically. I can also set the maximum rate. All I have to do then is start the beat and pedal or row until it stops. Super easy to do even while half awake every morning. One very minor wish list item would be to have some sort of finsh sound as a kind of "reward" for finishing your session. Thanks for a great app.
The free version/capabilities are perfect for my needs, which requires only basic time signatures. The auto-increase tempo function...*chef's kiss*. I have not compared this to other similar free metronome apps, so there may be better apps out there, but this is a pretty good start to finding a baseline out of what you may want/need from your app. I haven't had the need to even look into the paid version's functionality, so I can't speak to that. Not buggy at all with my Samsung Galaxy 9.
App skips and gets jerky everytime a pop-up ad gets updated. Completely defeats the purpose of having a metronome in the first place. This one is getting uninstalled.
I am a professional musician (clarinet) who has to prepare many tricky and difficult pieces. This metronome is easy to use and adjust tempi, subdivisions etc. Thanks for it!
Metronome Beats is easy to use and is an essential fitness tool for my training as a runner. I use it to set my cadence on tempo runs. And I can easily use the app even when I'm winded and perspiring!
I use to keep a steady pace while riding stationary bike. I can focus on reading, watching TV or whatever without constantly checking my speed. Haven't experienced any glitches or ads.
I have paid to go and free, and find this app to be versatile and helpful both for my own playing and for pupils. I use the drum kit sounds, and can amplify them through a Bluetooth speaker.
This is a great app to provide you with a beat. Loads of tempo and rhythm options included. I use it while practising guitar to make sure I keep an even beat.
I would buy this app but I have to reinstall it every time I need to change the tempo increase settings. Once you make any changes it stays that way unless you reinstall it.
It's not often you get an app that does what is says on the tin plus plenty more, but this is one of the diamonds. It's free, adaptable, and doesn't have tons of in-your-face ads. Highly recommended.
This is app is THE metronome app. It has many different sounds and options for practicing while at the same time not being too distractive. If you are looking for an efficient, high-quality metronome app that will satisfy your needs, well, look no further than Metronome Beats.
Seems to be a nice metronome. So far it has done what I wanted it for, I admit I use it in a very plain mode, however the other features are quite nice. It works as described.
I'm learning to play the guitar. The app is very friendly for this purpose in the way it allows you to adjust the bpm in small increments for learning a new song.
Really good with beats even tells you what is andante or lively etc. There are ads but they don't block anything or intterupt. Can change beats per bar and clicks per beat
Metronome Beats ticks at any setting or tempo needed. From aldante to presto. The soft beat is the first beat or the pick up bear. It has a nice Metronome sound, with lights per beat that light up in a row. It uses very little power in an Android phone. Thank you creators for having this app. Anyone with an instrument or learning timing with their hands, feet or head and even eyes can watch the beat on this Metronome app.
I use this app for more than one task. I use it to pace myself while walking, while doing my breathing exercises, as well as my music rehearsal. I love this app.
Excellent app, I use it all the time, and the updates are usually helpful. It's simple to use, has a good user interface, keeps a steady pulse (not all metronome apps do, strangely) and doesn't take up loads of space on my phone. I'd recommend it to anyone!
Great app! Easy to set accents or mute beats. Easy to set clicks per beat. That is pretty much all you need but the "Advanced rhythms" feature expands the list even more. The app even supports polyrhythms and a basic drum machine :). Just a great metronome app for practise
I was looking for a metronome app to help me keep a steady rhythm and to actually interpret the composer's intended rates of speed like moderato, larghetto, etc. I use this privately as I practice with my "tone chime" music! I am quite impressed because this metronome works really well and is adaptable, flexible, and easy to manipulate!
Once I have got used to Metronome Beats I'm enjoying it, although at first I found it difficult to know how to change the number of beats in a bar. It is a good app and it saves not only buying a physical metronome but replacing the batteries too!
I installed it for emergencies. Had a refresher and set it to sound. Wasted 5 sec getting rid of the ad. Then it didn't put any sound, set mute off still no sound, fiddled with sound still no sound. Don't trust this app to be there for an emergency, use something else.
Not only is the app functional and useful, there's the new drums feature. It's the stuff of sound engineering, and you can program any drum beat to accompany your guitar. And at least ads don't pop up randomly so this is a 5 star from me
Please add a way to select colors for the buttons and screen flashing feature , instead of the default yellow and orange. Your app's pro version is expensive for something simple like this, but if you add a way to select UI colors I will buy it as this is the only important missing feature for me. I just want something neutral like grey and white and the yellow / orange flashes are killing my eyes. A widget would also be nice to have.
