Metronome M1
Simple time signatures:
- 2/4 (duple): Commonly used for polkas or marches.
- 3/4 (triple): Used widely for waltzes, minuets, scherzi, country & western ballads, R&B. Also occasionally used in pop.
- 4/4 (quadruple): Also known as common time, this is used widely in most forms of Western popular music. It is also the most common time signature in rock, blues, country, funk, and pop. Most students start practicing with this time signature.
Compound time signatures:
- 6/8 (duple): This compound time signature is used in double jigs, polkas, sega, salegy, tarantella, marches, barcarolles, Irish jigs, loures, and some rock music.
- 9/8 (triple): Also known as compound triple time, this is used in triple jigs.
- 12/8 (quadruple): Commonly used in slower blues (where it is called a shuffle) and doo-wop; also used more recently in rock music. Metronome M1 also supports many other possible time signatures. I love the visual metronome but the metronome itself glitches. If you let it play for a bit you will hear a little click in between beats and it really throws me off! I wish this will get fixed
Just simple and functional and appreciates other time signatures well... only thing is that this does not include any form of tuplets that aren't 2, 3 or 4. No quintuplets or septuplets. Other than that, it's great.
Great app. Easy to use and the visual metronome really helps, especially for a beginner learning the timing to a new song.
Sound and color on screen don't sync for me. That makes it very confusing to know when the beats actually are..

Time signatrue is quite good but i dnt find minim note value in time signature. Fine with crochet, quaver and semi quaver and beat per bar division is also fine please add minin also
Simple great basic metronome. No extra nonsense to deal with. Good for students and pros. Looks like a Chevy works like a Cadillac.

Very lovely to me
I used to love this metronome, but it gave me trouble in my two devices. In tablet the app won't start right away and i have to close the app to make it work. In my mobile the clicks don't even sound. Please improve the metronone. I still love the Tuner T1 tho

the best metronome for Android
Useful for running. I have been using this app to re-train my legs to run again after a torn ligament on my knee. It died on my today at the gym. But have uninstalled/ re-install. For the benefit that the free version gave me, I decided to purchase, very reasonable amount. Thank you! Such a functional running app!
The subdivisions are interpreted wrongly. Duplet doesn't mean to play two beats per count. Its two beats per measure..Just accent them..
I've been wanting something like this for as long as I can remember. A visual metronome gives you options and capabilities an audible one can't . Youd have to try it to see what I mean. This app does what it says and does it well. Love the tap button and custom time signatures. I can see my already very good timing improving in some areas. I love this app. And as far as I know it doesn't invade my contacts list. Thank you JSplash.
