Metronome: Tempo Lite

Pretty good metronome for my purposes as a drummer. I especially like the timer feature which is really useful for focused practice. The only thing missing is a bell or sound played once the timer runs out. If you're "burying" the click like one would in the studio you won't notice that the click has stopped. The timer should also be more noticable in the UI. I don't care about the flashing lights but I do like to see how much time is remaining.

This is one of the two metronome I use for drum practice. Creating set lists is extremely handy, especially when tempos for specific songs change, this feature makes it easy to transition to the new pre-loaded tempo created on the list. One feature I wish it had, would be to mute bars so you can practice developing your internal clock. I've only found one other app that does that, but that one isn't as versatile or user-friendly as this one.

I just got this app yesterday. I'm using it with a child with special needs to help him visualize the beat. I'm not sure how helpful this so is going to be for that. The full screen flash will be overwhelming and it throws me off beat so I'm wary of using it with him. The LEDs are small and the light is very subtle - not very helpful even for a typical person. It would be great if I could change the size of the LEDs; even better if the LEDs could flash and fade out with each beat. Thanks.

Metronome works well but limited. The few meters is fine but can limit if you want to practice odd times. Click sounds are also limited; sometimes I find that accent counts begin to sound the same especially when playing in a triple feel time sig. So you wind up losing where the "1" is. Maybe I need more practice. Overall great and reliable app though!

Sound issues... Click volumes seem to go in and out on my pixel. Sometimes the volume for the metronome just completely ends, while the metronome is still keeping time, then it comes back in. Overall this is a great app - design interface usability, all good. It's just the volume and the sound issues that are the problem

I upraded to full version b'coz it has d features I want. But it would be great if these 3 features are added: (1) Adjustable volume. (2) Add Elapsed Time to the Bar Counter so that we know how long we've been playing. The elapsed should stop when d counter stops and display the time taken to play the limited (chosen) numbers of bars. (3) Please extend the Limit No. of Bars to 9999. After upgrading to full version the developers don't respond to our comments here. So I degrade from 4 to 1 star.

I purchased the full version back in 2019 and have had no problems since. All of a sudden, I am back to the lite version...no refunds, no warnings. Do NOT purchase full version.

This app is excellent. Has lots of helpful features for practicing. The ability to add subdivisions, accent specific beats, and turn on/off every few measures is great for a practicing drummer.

The visual LED lights, the full screen flash at downbeat and the possibility to play without sound are really a game changer for me. I just installed it to give it a try and now I like it a lot

Love the app, very handy to have... but the IOS version has more menu options, a tuner, a Count In option, and this one does not have the Add Existing Song from another setlist. Coming soon??

Higher battery usage on S5 that YT, Spotify. Timing really suspect, especially at slower BPM - inconsistent between bars. Could be an issue with the OS's time-slicing, tbf, but this app suffers for it.

Love the app best ive ever used, but , the new design and lighter display is disappointing. Very hard on the eyes.would much prefer a return to the green display of before. Other tjan that, great app.

Good app, but you cant pause the metronome from the notification. Also pauses every here and there and sometimes speeds up for some reason. Also the lights don't match with the sounds.

Up graded thinking I could control volume of the app seperate from phone, what a joke. Can't find much changed. Still got those adds in my face and this app eats up a battery FAST!

I think this is pretty great, doesn't scale very well on the Samsung zfold 3 though, are there any plans to improve that?

It makes life easier for musicians most of tge things are handled and there will be no need to look for a keyboard or any app plus its storage is very low no need for a tero to get it

I bought the upgrade but after a while it just disappeared and I did contact the support by email but never had an answer. so.

This app is a fantastic replacement for my old mechanical one. It even has a setting that sounds the same.

I use this regularly and am happy. My complaint is that it deletes my saved setlists. Please fix this!

Can no one make a simple metronome app from the goodness of their heart with no ads or purchasing some pro version? smh my head, it also only lets you go up to 400 bpm.

Great app about from when I put the timer on (that is on the app) and press start the timer did not work but apart from that it is a great app.

Works great for me and keeps beat at any tempo. love this app and would recommend to anyone. helps a lot.

Good app for casual use. Don't like the fact that it wont sleep my screen...wastes battery that way. Overall good

Updated version is good. You can mute bars and program an increase in bpms.Good app

You have to pay for the privilege of using 12|8 time? I don't think so. Used to use this all the time but there are tons of better free options out there.
