MetroPCS CallerTunes

When I first bought the service everything worked perfectly fine when it detected I was driving there was an icon at the top of my screen letting me know that it was turned on or off. Then all of a sudden when my phone is just sitting on a table somewhere and it rings, before I can get to it, it rings half a second and then it stops & tells the person I'm driving when I wasn't. Now that I bought a new phone and decided to buy it again not only does it not give me a notification at the top of my screen that it is now detecting that I'm driving, I have to literally open the app just so I can make sure that it is on when I'm driving, but it also used to immediately send text replies to my messages as soon as an incoming text comes in it used to immediately reply I'm driving and it doesn't even do that anymore which was convenient for me also. I went into the settings and set it up just like I did the very first time select the features I wanted and those two main things I don't get anymore. Whatever I'm doing when an incoming call comes in a window does pop up letting me know what song that person is listening to but that feature I don't care too much about.

First this app is NOT for ringtones, it gives you ringbacks, ringback is a song that plays for the people calling you. Instead of them hearing ringing when they call you, they can hear a song of your choice. No it's not free, but it does not trick you into buying, big yellow subscribe button. buy if you want, if not then don't! I give one star because it only lets me use 2 ringbacks, the artist selection is very limited, and I have problems with some of the features. I am a metro customer. Sad!

Please don't do away with this app😭 I have heard from many customers & own by T-Mobile staff that you're going to remove this feature. I have been a Metro by T-Mobile customer for about a decades now and would consider a move to Verizon to keep this awesome feature, and don't really want to do that so please consider keeping it. I really don't want to change!!!

Over 10 years ago ,I had Cricket as my service provider and I was able to install ringback tunes & caller tunes and it was totally free, I stayed with Cricket for 10 years and I had full volume of multiple artist & singers and had over 3,000 free song list & music that I had installed for my ringtones etc,. I would just carry my phone as my personal jam device, but my phone got stolen and I sure would not pay $5 for a ringtone, only if its free. And what they may offer for free its not worth it.

This app actually works! The only down part is it doesn't have the latest hip-hop songs. But I do like it. If you want caller tunes, download this asap.5 bucks a month, No ads... and you get 2 FREE credits every billing cycle!

Not sure why MetroPCS CallerTunes is unavailable but it would be nice to have it back availability. Or have caller tunes availability, so that when we put people on hold the music plays in background. Bring this back

False Advertising This app is not free. I was decieved into downloading this app, people are being lead to understand that its free to use but after downloading it requires a $5 subscription. I ask everyone who has had a simular experience to join me in a class action lawsuit for false advertisement against metro by tmoble. We do not deserve to be lied to!!! As compensation I ask for greater clearity, the app should NOT claim to be free, and i also ask for free unlimited use of caller tunes.

The app is awesome except I wish you could have the option to purchase more credits with money. That way you could buy more songs. Other than that I think that this is a really cool app.

4/11/21(Updated comment on bottom)I love this service. I get to Express myself to anyone that calls and I've had many compliments from callers (rating update)now it's even better. You can play your voice as ringtone.even better you can have a AI voice say what you want if not wanted your own..I now have one of the Professional voices introduce my business when anyone calls.

In two years i should have gained 48 tones i got about 20,when i called ,they remotely uninstalled the app that reset all of my rintones, your service provider has no influence over the provider of this app .their customer service is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine. NO VALUE, EVEN IF IT WAS HALF PRICED

It would be nice if you allowed people to request a song to put on there. They way you get the songs you want instead of just the main stream cliche music.

I have zero problems using the app. I like that my callers can enjoy music while they wait. They just need to add more music . Apps works great for me

I'm seeing a lot of ignorant reviews that are false accusations. First of all,the app is free as advertised. Nobody here can say they had had to pay in order to download and install this app. The service this app has to offer is not free tho. And the same can be said about a lot of apps today. Like Netflix for example, is free to download which makes it a free app but you still have to pay for the service it has to offer.

it's pretty sad when a company as big as T-Mobile let's try to trick their customers into downloading an app thinking they can use it for free but instead you charge him $5 a month for the service you can take this app and shove it where your service doesn't shine

This should be FREE! not a subscription of $5.00 a month for 3 ring tones each month that's it! ...Come on now Metro Pcs, You guys should know better than this this should be a FREE subscription for all METRO Customers Thanks!.

This App charges $5.00 for ringtones...no way.... they're hundreds of apps giving free ringtones....WOW and I am a Metro cell phone customer...and i like Metro...but to charge your customers $5.00 For ringtones.... I didn't see if he charged anything else on this app I stopped at that...wow

I luvvv it. I only wish I could record my own intro, as I used to be able to do with T-Mobile Caller Tunes, replacing the pre-recorded female voice that sez "Please enjoy the following Caller Tune while your party is being reached."

Can't get allowed in once I install & open this particular app, like a bouncer can't let you get inside the Nightclub,because it "simply wants a valid number" or is it because of these endless "aquisitions & or mergers",but go figure!! 😕😞

I am disappointed with this app. I have tried numerous times to download it. It will not load more than 10% each time. Fix this or take this crazy call tune off my phone. (I did not request it)

I was disappointed. Wish I could use my music from my library. Only 2 credits. I accidentally downloaded the wrong turn. Now stuck. 😩

$5.00 a month.Its like paying for something that might be, I'm going to uninstall this app as it's a waste of space on my phone.... I can't pay for an app I can even try and there is no preview to show you how it works.

Some of you people are truly stupid ringback has never been free and every carrier charges, You pay an monthly fee for 2 credits an month simple as that, reading some of the comments I can't help but laugh at so many don't understand what an ringback tone is and how people think it's free thanks for the laugh.

I see alot of people complaining, I have had caller Tunes for 2 Yrs or So now & I've had no Problem. My music sound fine!! Some people will find anything 2 complain about. Now I'm definitely ready 4 new Selections!!
