Worked great for about 2 weeks. Now it starts out and then reverses back to where it started then back again. It is like it is losing signal then regaining it. Hard to follow on the app map. Little car goes along on the road then after about 30 sec. backs up all the way to where the trip started then recovers and repeats the cycle. Can some one please help with this problem?
Great idea. Only one of two draw backs. When the alarm notifies you of a disturbance, It is a delay reaction. For theft reasons, I wish it was more on time. As far as system problems, my home parking address has changed. The numbers were always wrong but now even the street is wrong. Has to go! My car is to important for this BS. Great idea, you just cant make the app work properly. Cant change boundaries anymore. There is no button to set up any of these things. Need that button for limits.
Amazing. This app, WHEN INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED PROPERLY, works wonders. It had saved me so much money!!! If anything goes wrong, you get an alert letting you know before it's too late and you are stuck broke down somewhere. Had a bad crankshaft position sensor, so my car would randomly just turn off and then it would be difficult to start sometimes. So, I got a new part and popped it in and now my car is running way better!! The part cost me $9.00, And only took 30 mins. Love this app.
I used to love the previous version but the service degraded over the last year, and now the upgraded version is even slower to respond. You can't even look at notifications anymore. Everything just links back to the last time you started the car. It's not useful anymore, especially if it takes up to an hour to notify you of a disturbance. One more thing...the program seems to be now mainly beneficial for vehicles made after 2012 UPDATE: The program no longer works with my 1997 Buick!!!!
When it works it works great which is most of the time, I find almost all of the features useful my only request is that some of it was more automated and the startup of the app can sometimes take forever. Every now and then there are some hiccups and I have to force close the app and reset it but those don't happened too often maybe if the app could become more effecient and consistent I could give a 5 out of 5 but other than that I really appreciate this service.
Looks like the app hanging and eventual crashing have been fixed. I havent seen any of those issues since the last update went live, even when device is in a low signal area. I do ask tho incorporate a way where the app can understand the existance of a remote start module. There are some times when i start my car by remote start, and it reaches its set time then shuts off. The app says i drove to my neighbor across the street or next door. Or add an option to label trips. (E.G remote start)
Great concept but horrible on electric & hybrid vehicles. Whenever car is under elect power device thinks it's being towed & this LOUD alarm BLARES! The design flaw is it cannot be turned off in settings (strange) I contacted the app support, they weren't able to do anything.. God help u if u happen to have the phone on ur ear when it goes off!! On regular gas vehicles it has great features and is bug free.
I like the somewhat accurate statistics it has when I drive my truck, but what I really don't like is that when I attempt to turn off the Wifi Hotspot, it gives me an error saying "Device may be offline. Please turn your vehicle on within the coverage area," when my truck is on and within signal range. It's wasting the hotspot data and there's nothing I can do about it.
Excellent. It lets you know if anyone disturbs your car with a notification on your phone wherever you are. As good as, or better, than some car alarms. And checks your battery, recalls and much more. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heard the alert 45 minutes after broken into and for descriptions of things what need to be done to the vehicle you're make model wise didn't allow you to go past 2000 I have a 1998 Nissan Frontier and your mechanism does not stay attached in the vehicle unless you tape it on or wire it on it will fall off when you're driving and for descriptions and dates and times it doesn't allow you to go back into any other time except for one time zone everytime you go to map date and time never changes to
The device needs to be much smaller.It's bigger than or equal to most wedding ring cases .Very noticable. Has some glitches like my truck will have started a trip 39 minutes ago and I get a trip completed message but no trip started message.Still worth $10 a month tho.
Love the app and device. No complaints at all. Keeps me very aware of what is going on with my vehicle. I have one on both vehicles. No issues at all besides the quick update issue that has been fixed. A mechanics dream and great for a father with a kid driving or someone with low vehicle knowlege. Elderly people would also find useful.
It's very handy to have and does work great. Auto shops don't like you having this cause it shows before the vehicle has the issue showing up on dash board. This is a device that will tell you truth if a shop claims to fix anything right the first time
I have had this product for over a year with the app working fine on my phone now for the past week the app does not want to open up on my phone. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and the device is still plugged in because I'll get notifications on my phone just can't view on the app. Getting ready to just discontinue using it.
My opinion on this device still stands at one star. I'm quite disappointed. There's quite as issues that they need to fix especially on the notification side of it. Apparently these units have a battery in them so they get unplugged. The GPS knows where it was last. Apparently this would do no good for you. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this they have a lot of problems still . It will become a nightmare.
Initially the app was great. It notified me of any malfunctions so I was able to take the car to the mechanic to have it checked. Lately, it has been registering issues that are not happening. It has stated that the cylinder is misfiring and the mechanic has been unable to find that problem. So now I am unsure of the accuracy.
I absolutely love this app and told me all the recalls on my vehicle and where to get them fixed but I also love the fact that it tells me when someone touches my vehicle so it's like having a real-life security systems 24/7 not to mention the amazing roadside assistance
The dang delayed alert is freaking ridiculous. You can start your car and it notifies you like 20 minutes later. What if my car is broken into? This is the worst app ever. This has been a constant thing for over 4 years and customer service never fixes after multiple emails.
The app worked fine for awhile then systems went down for a month or so and ever since, I've had problems. Now I try to open the app and it tries but then says app isn't responding. I get the annoying notifications that I can't control since I can't open. Crazy!!!
I love the features, but the latest update created all kinds of issues. I can no longer open the app. It still sends me travel updates, but if I want to go look at something on the app itself as I have at other times, it unexpectedly stops. I've tried reinstalling and restarted phone. Whatever they did with last update, really messed it up for my phone.
