Super slow to lock and unlock a vehicle which isn't very nice when it's raining
For urban dwellers I don't see why car ownership now needs to be a thing.... Great cars and straight forward integration with the app, as simple as falling out of bed. I haven't owned a car for 10 years, and now there really is no point. This is not the the solution if you need regular use of a car, it will get expensive, but for infrequent needs this is cheaper than owning your own, particularly in terms of total cost of ownership.
Installed it several times and checked permissions were all correct but it crashes everytime I try to upload licence. After reading other reviews decided it's too flaky yet to rely on when you get to the car .. is it all going to work. Good idea, but not yet reliable enough. Keep trying.
Pretty disappointing that when you want to use it there's nothing available in the city. Needs a decent competitor
Everytime I reserve a car the app just starts blinking and I have to restart my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app but still hasn't made any difference as the app just blinks when I reserve a car and then cannot use it. Waste of time.
The app went blinking, reinstalled, still blinking. The phone is Samsung S10+. Wasted 15 minutes of my time while expected anything sensible. Have to take a different mean of the transportation. If anyone in a hurry do not waste your time on this app.
I have thoroughly enjoyed using Mevo over the last few weeks. I wish I had written a review when I had first used it and my excitement was at its peak. None the less this is a great service made very easy to use with updates that don't affect me and always a vehicle not to far away and ready to go. Getting to drive a brand new Audi with Mevo almost make me upset I have my own car 😂
Please add the simple function of changing your email! You can change your phone, but not email, wth?
Don't bother. They are not accepting new customers. Waiting for council to subsidise their business model with more free parking ? Good news! thanks for the update, will try it out. Modified rating for now will adjust if needed later...
Generally like the app and service but tried to use today and their system is down. Needs to be more reliable if you want people to base travel plans on this service.
Really love the service! Amazing cars and great customer support. Coming from using Car2Go, Mevos have been a much more premium ride for a still reasonable cost.
This app has a mood, sometime reliable sometime unreliable. And I hate it when it decides to acting up when I need it the most.
A little pricey but overall a great experience. Cars are almost always available and ready to go
Great service which I used alot until the latest app update which is not acceptable for my Samsung phone. I really don't intend to purchase a new phone just so I can use Mevo.

Great app, works well. Cars are nice. If it wasn't for the $15 airport surcharge then I would use it all the time.
Doesn't seem to work since upgrading to a new phone (Moto G50 with Android 11). Just blinking like other users report

Been using Mevo for a year. Live in Wellington CBD. We don't own a car. Love Mevo. Literally use it all the time. Really well priced. Great service. Fuel included. Big fan!

Easy with lovely to drive cars
Excellent idea, and pretty good most of the time. The hire price is pretty high though (and tending upward), and so is the insurance excess. Significantly better UX than competitor cityhop. Unfortunately, there seems to be a disproportionately high number of big cars, which seems to go against the idea of urban friendly - I understand catering to all needs but it seems overkill at this point.
