The platform is really awesome but the app is glitchy. Its annoying but not a deal breaker. Join the platform but use it on the web browser instead. Images glitch and if you're browsing a profile it keeps jumping to the top. Also had issues with freezing etc. Dont let that deter you though there are a lot of cool people on there.

It's stable and reliable. Love how the Premium membership is only advertised once for the day and not constantly. People are afraid that all the conspiracy theorists might be here, but you control what you see, and who sees you, so it's not an issue. Needs lots more users. It's a replacement, for me. I sent them a suggestion about making the pages bordless. That little bit of cropping isn't necessary. Only reason I took a star.

Still not allowing me to post images for some reason. Can do it fine on the desktop. I posted a review about this before but it's mysteriously missing now. $10 says this one will be gone tomorrow also. EDIT as if 5/25/22: Surprised my review is still here, but unsurprised that the app is still broken. Still can't post images in groups. It goes through it like it's doing it, then it just reloads the page. This is like the most basic thing to do on social media and the app can't handle it?

Often when viewing and responding to multiple posts on an individual timeline, the process dumps you b as ck to the beginning of the timeliness rather than continuing to the next post. Then you have to scroll all the way back again to view where you left off. When you respond to that next post it again dumps you all the way backnto the beginning. Repeatedly. Very annoying, inconvenient and time consuming to keep scrolling b a cknto where you originally left off.

This app shows a full screen ad every time you open it. Turns out, I keep swiping the app closed as soon as I see the ad, and never use the app. I'm keeping it installed waiting for the ad to be removed.

A great app but it needs alot of work. This app is a good place to go since G+ was shutdown. But it leaves a lot to be desired. It runs slowly and freezes very frequently. Comments take several minutes to appear after being written. These things need to be corrected and fixed. If they could be fixed, that would be much better.

Bordering on useless. Every time you're trying to read it bounces unexpectedly to top. Happens randomly, which makes the app useful only for quick glance on your stream but not reading. Who developed this, squirrel on caffeine?

After using this app for awhile I have been enjoying it as a substitute for G+. However for whatever reason the mobile version been acting up. If I'm scrolling on a timeline, it'll automatically take me back to the top. If I'm on a post, it'll say the poster deleted the post and kick me out when they didn't delete them. Hopefully this'll be fixed in future updates.

This app keeps getting worse. It's riddled with bugs & glitches that you're clearly not capable of fixing. It constantly lags & freezes, it's not my wifi because all of the other apps I've installed work perfectly fine. I am now unable to upload pics. Not on to the timeline or any group, I have not run out of space in my cloud yet I can't upload anything on the app. I can only do so on the desktop version of the site. I've had this problem since last night. FIX. THESE. ISSUES. PLEASE.

I'm adding to a new comment. Every time I delete a post, it puts me back up to the top of my profile and I don't like that at all! Plus notifications are useless! This app needs the Instagram feature where if you have another account, you can just switch to it instead of having to long out just to log into the other account. I thought this app was meant to be good 🙃 clearly not!

Definitely needed to update my review. At first this app was great but recently it's been going downhill fast. During chats it doesn't refresh and show texts as they're sent. I literally have to exit and go back in the app. Very frustrating! I love mewe but the app needs some major work.

It's exciting and pleasurable experience. Unfortunately that didn't last .I went purchase a page for my filming business. To get exposure But it stop being vsible to the public after 6 months I went into settings to change back several times but it won't keep .

Some big issues not including all others is the extremely small windows for our profile photos including groups. You can't use the photos you truly want and have to settle for something more generic that fits somewhat in those tiny windows. And now we do not have the ability to use GIFs anymore in our profile and group headers. Yet the older profile and group Gifs still in its place remains the same, but once you change it out you will never be able to replace it with another one. Please Fix it

Its the closest thing to Google+ that's out there. You gotta pay$ to use the video chat feature. It also takes A VERY LING TIME to upload and share a video or GIF. And most of the group catagories are extremely irrelivant, nor do they allow you to add any new catagories, so your stuck with the ones they provide. Also, they dont respond to any feedback you may provide them to improve the mewe app. And the mewe gif keyboard has terrible search results. Im loyal to mewe but they need to step it up

Review updated: Been one of MeWe's most heavy users for 4 years now and I personally have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the platform thus far, despite its random bugs and glitches. So just like with any app, it's all a work in progress. 😅 That said, knowing the platform inside and out, I do run a group called "MeWe Discussion and Help" and there we help users navigate the platform, answer user issues, and even resolve most technical issues. Look it up and request to join if you need help. ❤️

Glitches too much and even now, it isn't renewing to the current status of what is going on. It sits there and doesn't update Now I give 2 stars because it still doesn't refresh and it's getting frustrating. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing

Still a bit clunky but is great for freedom of information. Easy to share pictures, videos, websites- just about anything can be shared. A great place for free information and open sharing. Is it Facebook? NO. But when Facebook was 2 years old, neither was it "all that pretty" either.

The app can be good fun. However sometimes the app won't load properly or respond and crashes a lot? After deleting the app and reloading it twice its seems to be working a lot better. I've had to delete the app many times and reload it because of running slow and nor responding 🙃

Love it. Great alternative to Facebook. UPDATE: I've been using MeWe for approximately 6 months now and have had no issues whatsoever. I've read other reviews and I was quite surprised upon reading that they've had issues. I've been using the free version the whole time and I still love this app/platform.

Look, your platform is great. But please stop asking me to buy a subscription. It's driving me insane. Edit: However I love this app. I wish the news feed would have more of facebook's look to it though and then it would be the perfect media platform to replace facebook with that doesn't censor people.

The app was great until the last update now it doesn't work!!! The app doesn't download, all I get is the spinning wheel. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP. I uninstalled and reinstalled the App and it is working now. HERE WE ARE 03/20/22 and the update SCREWED EVERYTHING UP AGAIN. THE App hasn't worked for 2 days now.

1) There should be a tool to quickly search for group or user to post to. 2) it is impossible to edit or care of a timeline. Say you need to delete old posts, after the first action the app immediately brings you to the top. One has to scroll hundreds of miles to do the second operation, and so on.

MeWe makes you put all your posted images and videos in a cloud storage system and when you fill it up they want to charge you for additional storage. They don't tell you where their cloud is and so you can not delete items in it. They don't tell you that there is a could storage untill you fill it. You don't know what the limit of the storage is or how it works. It is unfair & manipulation. No other social media does this. Not Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or hangouts. Otherwise it's good

I've found information on subjects that I have been interested in for years and not been able to find elsewhere. There is so much variety and vast information that I am amazed and really grateful. I hope th at it never changes. I see that this has changed. I try to look at things and most of the time all that happens is, I watch a circle spin ! I hope that it is something that I did, in settings. I'll look at it, and try to figure it out.

Still the same problem. Revert time I emoji a post, I'm brought back to the top of either my feed or someone's profile. It's annoying as hell. FIX IT! Don't bother paying for "premium" with this level of incompetence.

Is not a free speech or expression platform the system is designed to be Shadow Banning from the start they block virtually all my video uploads and block other posts, occasionally they allow video upload but for a 2 or 3 minute video it takes 2 hours give or take, they change my settings they delete stuff this is a subversive anti-free speech and free expression platform and the physical function is totally user-unfriendly

I'm constantly having issues with your site lagging. I can no longer do anything on it and I pay the premium. Please fix it. I love the site and hate the idea I might have to uninstall it. When fixed I'll re-rate the app. Thanks!

This app needs a lot of work. It is unbearably slow and it hangs constantly. Just liking a post can take up to a full minute or two sometimes. Or it will just stop responding completely. And it's not my Wi-Fi because 100+ other apps run perfectly fine on my phone with no issues. Also the search feature is an absolute joke. It needs a complete overhaul. If these things were improved it could very easily dominate the social media market.
