Like many others, I could not dismiss the change log to get into the app, but I have finally found a workaround! I paired a Bluetooth keyboard with my phone, and pressed various keys to try to dismiss the dialog (Esc, backspace, enter, arrows, etc). At some point, a tiny "Ok" button appeared at the bottom of the dialog and I was able to click that with my finger on the touchscreen! Happy to have regained access to this useful app!
What's this? An app that lets me look up all sorts of MH4U info on the fly without having to look it up on my computer, including key quests, various weaknesses, and more? Yes please! Oh, it doesn't list any strategies or histories for the monsters you encounter, but considering the info already available on here, it can be over looked. If you're a fan of Monster Hunter, you're going to want, if not need, this handy app!
Missing a bit of information on monsters such as fatalis (all 3 of them) and missing or has wrong info on some of the new armor. Needs a good update. But the fact that it has the armor set builder is great! Once these problems gets fixed, I'll give it 5 stars and recommend it to everyone.
It's a great app that I use almost every time I okay monster Hunter. The only problem I can see with it is the armor builder. Every time I try to add armor it won't work, it simplify won't add the armor I selected. Fix this and you get the 5 stars this app deserves.
My last resort when it comes to quest information, I was looking for info on how to unlock certain quests but I couldn't find anything I was looking for. Also, some of the carving info for Dalamadur is cut off. Besides that, the app is extremely useful, I use it more than the Kiranico website.
The entire app is pretty much awesome, except the Armor Set Builder doesn't work. I know these things take time to fix, and this app has tons of useful info I can reference mid-hunt, so I'm still getting plenty of use out of this app. Once the Armor Set Builder works this will get the 5th star!!
I love how this app gives any information I need at any time its really helpful. However there are 2 things I noticed. One being the armor set builer. Another is when I look at apex tidal najarala it says there is no quest. But there is I see it on my game. Small bug but other than that great app.
Looks great. But there is a long way to go I feel. There are some things that I would like to know that is not present in the app. For example, if an item like the bumblepumpkin is not found by regular means, it should say where it actually can be found/made.
To anyone with the issue where you can't get out of the change log, scroll down to the bottom and swipe over in the open space at the bottom. you should be able see the ok button in the lower right. definitely needs to be fixed but that's at least a workaround.
For those having trouble getting pass the change log screen, scroll down, and tap around the bottom right corner of the change log page. There is an OK button around that area that is just not visible yet. Once you get the screen to close it will not pop back up again when you relaunch the app. Besides that issue, overall it is a great app.
It is a very good app and has a lot of useful information but there's a lot to be desired, not all the information on the items list is there, I know where i can get armor stones but it doesn't say it in what quests you can obtain them
Be ready to download this app then to look at a changelog... forever. App runs and all. They just never programmed in a way to say OK at the bottom of the change log that opens when you start the app. So all you get to do are read the updates the app has had. Nice fail.
It happens too many times with me that I need to know from where to get a certain item while playing.. I open the app ..and find it ..but no informations about where to find or craft, for example ..divine armor sphere, ..nothing about it, only how many a player can carry !! ..but the effort is appreciated and it's beautiful app.
I suppose if I could get past the changelog I would probably at least be able to check the app... Edit: after more than a month no update, no fix, no answer from the devs. I suppose this is now mainly because of MH:W being out, it's still not acceptable to leave an app in this useless state.
