The "map" button no longer works and it's a struggle to even get to the address to copy and paste it now. (use to open map app, does nothing at all now) would also be nice to link it to other apps like Chevrolet app or something as well.)
Map button has stopped working now, and can no longer batch photo upload now. Damn thing freezes CONSTANTLY! It'd be faster to write it by hand scan pictures, and snail mail it to the office. So annoying. I'd give it -5 stars if I could.
System moves too slow, chat support does not even understand their own system. the system will randomly delete information already in place. this causes me 2 re-type all the information multiple times, this is not efficient. system is always sinking or fetching more results when it has already done that multiple times in the past 2 minutes. it takes a long time for me to input items on the job. if you're trying to grow a professional company use another program! Updating does not help. 2.24.1
i really liked this app before this latest update. It was extremely easy to use and very quick now i really dont like it and it has to much going on for the simple use i use it for which is estimates and invoices and it doesn't all fit on my cell phone screen very well at all making it more difficult to understand and navigate. Also it is very slow now.The app was perfect before and now it's unusable.
The system is terribly slow and crashes regularly. The list of issues is litterally pages long. Mony of the features advertised dont work - and they have no plans on actually fixing them. It seems there are so many glitches in the system - its out of control. I lf time is important and you actually need the functionality advertised, save yourself what could be perhaps the biggest head ache possible - and simply choose a different software. Its so bad our techs stopped using it.
I think the design is nice. It just doesnt work. Constantly crashes, freezes and glitches. Its embarrassing when I take an invoice to a customer and they have to sign it 4 times or they have to watch me refresh my page 20 times before the job that was there mere seconds ago tha dissapeared shows back up. Contacted customer service probably 5 times now and am always told to just clear the app memory or uninstall and reinstall it. Never fixes the issues.
The abilities this app gives are really nothing special. I can text a customer to let them know I am enroute, I can send estimates and invoices, etc without this. One thing this app does do is refuse to change information for me. It will not recognize changes to my address on estimates. In addition, the service is expensive. I am actively looking for a way to delete my account, but I cannot find any way to.
None of my links for pulling up the phone number on the contact or the link to open up maps at the address are working anymore on a OnePlus 7 pro
Crashes constantly after last update (a year ago). Terrible response from company.... We use this platform daily and have several techs that we pay subscription for, and they do not seem to be concerned with technical issues. They will stand to lose a lot of commercial customers at this rate. We are definitely shopping around...
Needs improvement. Works slow as hell on one phone and sometimes not at all. Have to reinstall quite a bit. Now the menu on the bottom doesn't scroll on another phone. I have to use this for work and it is frustrating to navigate. Wish my company would use something more reliable.
Edit* 07/14 - Most recent update has made this app useless. Can't view jobs. Can't do anything. Please fix! Works ok enough but I wish there was a way to "back out" of the app using the back arrow key instead of having to manually swipe it closed everytime. Very annoying and cumbersome. Should be an easy fix....
Very useful for what we need. Only big problem is the time keeping never works right and we have to manually edit staff time sheets every pay period. Other than that it's intuitive and easy to navigate quickly and robust. It should be when you have to pay $250/month for the software though.
App no good crashes, can't upload pictures from phone library and pictures sometimes won't load when you take the picture direct to app. If you write a report you better write it in Google or wherever and copy and paste you will lose everything you wrote if the app just decided to close on you like it does 80% of the time. Pictures are blurred. List goes on. 10 thumbs down
Have had nothing but problems. Very slow and doesnt work have the time. Think I've uninstalled and reinstalled over 20 times in last year. The last update has made the app impossible to use. Just sits idle and tries retrieving data or something. Cannot download pics or save info to job. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
Sooo slow! Used this app often until it became really, really slow a year or more ago. Barely usable now as simple tasks take minutes to complete. This company has a habit of breaking features with new updates so I thought they would eventually fix the slowness, but apparently it was not worth fixing to them.
We have 12 service techs and 4 salesman using this app. (HVAC SHOP) It has been running extremely slow as we add items and customers to the system. The desktop version works well but not a good option on a smartphone because of the screen size. We have an enormous amount of time invested in this software and have been disappointed in the response time to address our issues. Be cautious before you go with this software. Very poor experience. The UI is too busy with unnecessary radio buttons which cause most of the glitches. This is supposed to be a work scheduling app. It doesnt have to appeal to I phone people who want pretty interfaces. Only use this app because it is what company requires. "Field Aware", isnt perfect but it far superior.
This app is a joke. I'd rather spend hours and hours writing on invoices than have to deal with this nonsense. Now line items don't show up just a blank box that I can't delete so I constantly have to call my office if I make an error so they can clear my invoicing for me. Happening across the board with all of my technicians. And as usual no solution with tech support.
I use this app daily for work, I have constant issues. Today I couldnt find the job tab, it just disappeared, I'm using the galaxy s10. My co worker is experiencing the same issue with his s10. I was using my tab A8 and it was working up untill it updated now I've lost the job tab once again. Seems like everytime they update I run into new issues. Also been having troubles just doing the simple things like navigating our job description section. For this reason I'm giving this app 2 stars
I've been using MHelpDesk for the better half of a year and could not be more pleased with the efficiency and usefulness of this system. When I first started my business I quickly learned that apps and digital systems for organizing, estimating and invoicing was a necessity. Of the many I tried, this program accompanied by extremely helpful and informed customer service are by far the best. I believe that MHelpDesk is a part of the reason my custom carpentry business has had so much success.
Don't worry. The ios version is garbage too. Notifications don't work. Filling out invoices is an absolute buggy mess. The ios version has terrible design elements from the iphone 4 days but don't worry, it's still just as awful on team Android. Really wish I wasn't forced to use this for work. I'd rather start using paper invoices again.
I have been using MHelpDesk for 4 months now the customer service has been steller. I have never purchased service management software before. I have used different programs before with other companies. I have used a paper system for the last 5 years and was a little scared to set up this system. MHelpDesk has been very help full Ihave called over a dozen times. They are very helpful and patient. There is a lot to learn but I love the project auto populate feature and multi option feature.
UPDATE 12/5/21 - It is getting worse. Photos will not upload even if you are on Wi-Fi. It is constantly saying failed to sync. I have contacted customer service multiple times and they cannot answer the questions or fix the issue. My reports are not showing up. This is becoming a major problem in my day to day responsibilities as a contractor. My clients are always on my phone asking for reports that I already submitted. Where is your pride mHelpDesk? Fix your issues with your app!
I wish my company could move faster to switch to different platform from this app. At one point it was good then recently over last few months the updates managed to ruin the app even more. Features that at one point worked are no longer functional. You would think this is rectifiable, but it's not. Biggest issue is the actual support or the lack there of. Terrible support to say the least. Multiple back and forth with zero help. They ask same question and do little to resolve issue.
