mHPB

mHPB is a mobile application that allows users to open:- SuperSmart HPB Account, and to use:- mobile banking services (mBanking) designed for retail customers- mobile banking services (mBanking) designed for corporate customers- mobile token services (mToken) designed for retail customers- mobile token services (mToken) designed for corporate customers- services and tools (to check information related to branch offices and ATMs, to arrange meetings, to check an exchange list, currency calculator and the Bank’s contact information)
mHPB application is a personal finance tool available in the palm of your hand, at the rates inferior to those charged in the Bank’s branch offices and Croatian post offices, saving your time by easy, fast and secure 24-hour a day access to all important service information. mBanking and mToken services via mHPB are available to domestic and foreign natural persons holding current or giro accounts with Hrvatska poštanska banka and who have already subscribed for those services. Other mHPB users who have not activated mobile banking or mobile token services may access exclusively user services and tools.

OPENING SUPERSMART HPB ACCOUNT

SuperSmart HPB account includes the following:- Current account- Contactless debit MasterCard- Mini mHPB (mobile banking with basic functionalities: account balance and transaction information overview, payment orders and templates, locking cards, eInvoice, eStanding Order, purchase of GSM and ENC vouchers)

Accounts are opened online at the customers’ requests. Accounts may be opened online only if mHPB application has been downloaded. Otherwise, the online account opening process cannot be initiated. Accounts are opened via video calls, in which all necessary data is exchanged between the customer and the Bank. After completing the video call, the customer accepts all necessary documents and activates mini mHPB service.

MOBILE BANKING AND MOBILE TOKEN FOR NATURAL PERSONSTo access HPB mBanking or mToken via mHPB application, you have to subscribe for these services in the nearest HPB branch office or Croatian post office. Thereupon, the services must be activated, entering an activation code.Mobile banking via mHPB application allows you to do the following:- check balance and account information- review account transactions- review credits- review term deposits - place payment orders- place payment orders, using “PhotoPay” option- make internal transfers- review payment orders and internal transfers- create and review templates- review card information and transactions- pay to card related account- lock and unlock cards - currency exchange (purchase and sale of foreign currencies)- option to purchase GSM and ENC vouchers- option to arrange meetings- receive notices and information

Security of use

HPB mBanking is a secure and easy to use application. The access is enabled exclusively via user’s private PIN login. In case of the incorrect PIN being entered three times in a row or five minute inactivity, the application will be locked for security reasons and new login will be required.

Cannot upgrade, dont have the option to change the daily limit which was there in the previous version. Notifications about changes in the account coming late and are repeated. A lot of improvement is needed.

Quite a good app. There should be a possibility to rearrange the sequence of the accounts in the "Accounts" section, and to set one's own default account for transactions. The biggest disadvantage for me is there's no registry where the user could save recipient's name and IBAN for future transactions: so one either has to type in the recipient's IBAN for each transaction, use PIR (presupposes all your recipients are registered in RPIR), or use templates (which have another purpose).

Very unintuitive. Account transfers don't happen instantly. Messages about balance come late and are repeated. Stopped working and requires update even though it's the lates version.

after the last update, i can't sign in using biometrics. my phone is huawei p10 lite and it used to work on old versions of app. tried to reset all settings but it didnt help

Cannot log in with correct pin. Have to try to use the app several times a day to get lucky and login. Cannot download transaction list.

Every few day some kind of repairs and out of all mobile banking apps (in Croatia) this is definitely the worst one. For 1 card payment, you get up to 3 notification and it feels like spam.
