MHz Choice

I'm not happy that the video doesn't open to fill the screen. What's up 2022 update: this is one of the very best streaming video. Great programs.

Great programs, but its hell on earth if you try to cancel your subscription. I spent an hour and a half trying ro cancel the subscription I got as a gift a year ago. They say a dialogue box will pop up asking if you want to cancel or pause the subscription. Baloney! Nothing pops up, I'm on the website for over an hour trying to unsubscribe!

This app is not terribly user friendly. I want the option to see my streaming history like Netflix gives me. So many times I find I've already watched a particular series only after starting it. Give us the option to note a completed series, or putting it aside in my app in case I wish to rewatch. I do appreciate the episodes now rolling over to the next. That was a great improvement.

MHz's TV channel used to be on a local OTA station in the SF Bay Area, and I loved their International Mystery episodes, so signing up for MHz Choice was a no-brainer. The few technical problems I had in the beginning have been ironed out by updates, so the app performs well. I watch pretty much all the programs on offer...some aren't to my liking, but I consider my subscription to be good value for money and it can be paused for any reason, with no penalty. I really like the variety of shows.

I found this app doing a search. Since then I have been enjoying different European series which in my opinion are way superior than Netflix. I wish they would post more content but on a very good note this app is good does not freeze, picture is HD sound is great, it does not waste time loading. My only con about this app is that episodes and seasons are NOT in sequential order and do not kick in automatically. Aside from that it is 5 Star (would give it 10 if I could). Highly recommended!

Excellent content. No glitches but I do find navigation of the site very disorganized. I do find it confusing as to exactly where I have left of in a series the time I watch go to watch an episode. Frustrating yes but the content makes the hassle worth it Also I am a newbie but it does not seem like they add enough new titles per month. Still very pleased and for now will be unsubscribing from prime and britbox

A great variety of films. Don't bother to review its list of films though if you're not feeling like reading translation. You won't find that occasional English language film. Not there. So far my clear favorites are, A French Village, Spiral's great as well as Aber Bergen. Spend the 8 bucks it costs to get it every month. You won't be disappointed!

I'm so hooked on MHz Choice, I've been a follower for years, starting on SF station and now on Roku. I have been watching the great series you have offered ,and can't turn them off .I cut the cord with cable got a Roku, ,added MHZ Choice, now I have quality tv. Keep up great programing, and I will be one great fan! Thanks for your great choices.

It worked fine for the first few weeks, but now it won't cast over chromecast with the app. It will cast over chromecast from the mhz website though. Thank goodness. But something is wrong with this particular app. Hulu and Amaxon Prime both cast over chromecast with no problems. 😞

App needs a lot of user experience work. For instance, I'm unable to delete my continue watching list. If I play an episode from the continue watching list, at the end it doesn't go to the next episode from the same show, but rather to whatever I have in my continue watching list. So I have to go to my library, find the show then remember the episode I had just finished watching and play the next one.

Love this app. I love Swedish mysteries and it has tons. No trouble with closed captions either.

App site makes it difficult to find favorite shows (videos I have been watching). I can add them to "my list" but unable to find that list! (Where is "my list"?) Too many categories. Confusing...Also more shows (video series) would be appreciated.

I really enjoy the programming. I am very disappointed that it's no longer broadcasting but glad I have been a subscriber for a while. The app is sometimes difficult to navigate and find the program I want. However, it's easier when I use my computer.

I'm so happy with this application. I have been looking to watch Beck, but it's on another app without subtitles. This app has Beck, with English subtitles and it is fast. No issues streaming, no delays. I love this application so far. I wish other applications were as good as this one.

Great app, great shows. I particularly liked "Maigret" -- what an excellent mystery, with great writing, and this is the only place to stream it! This streaming service is a treasure trove of good shows and films from countries around the world. Well worth giving a try!

I enjoy watching MHZ any time of the day. It is not expensive and there are hundreds of episodes to watch. My favorites are the Scandinavian shows. I am counting the days until Aber Bergen Season 2 starts. It is 26 days as of this writing. It is nice to have something to look forward to during these strange times we live in.

Reasonable price streaming service for foriegn TV. Cheaper than Netflix with many options. Only request would be to have subtitles optional (or in native language) and maybe add some Turkish series.

Good choice of European mysteries BUT there is no indication of which series episodes have been watched. This is Netflix hugely inconvenient and irritating! HULU, Netflix, Prime, BritBox, and CBS/Paramount+ all do this. What is with MHz?

I can't watch anything! I signed up for free trial but nothing is loading. Unable to stream on TV , tablet, mobile. Really dissapointing. You have provided no resolution and if you charge my credit card I will dispute the charges.
