Access to the bank account and usage of debit card and transfers is now very difficult with the new DB Secure Authenticator app. If you change phones it's almost impossible to get it configured in a new phone. Customer service is either unavailable or unable to help. I live abroad and can't go to a DB office in person. This means DB has effectively cut access to my own accounts. Will have to move all my accounts to an online bank that actually knows how to handle mobile apps and security.
The app is down! I can't login for several days now!! With every attempt I get a message "no internet connection" ( though connection is fine), or that there is an error. Very annoying that I can't manage my finances via mobile version on the go!(( Before was working better.
Clunky, slow and often crashes. Every other bank has a simple and effective app, I don't know why this one is so bad. Please fix it. Start a new app from scratch. Do whatever it takes so you're not so far behind the rest.
I can't say much about this app because it will not even allow me to begin using it. The "secure authenticator" companion app is garbage and will never allow you to register your account since it claims there are connection issues. The fact that step 0 is so filled with problems does not bode well for the usefulness of this app.
A really slow and clunky user interface. Very hard to use. Also the insane level of security details needed to get into your own account makes it really slow and hard to use. Why can't Spanish customers use the normal DB app?
Got blocked out of the app for attempting to log in with my registered fingerprint. I needed to make a payment and the day before I could log in without problems using the same method. It is not the first time that this app bugs and shuts me out but honestly I'm keeping this app only because I have to.
Horrible app. Just like the Bank. Just horrible. These old brick and mortar business simply fail compared to their competitors like Revolut. I highly advice against using this bank! Their app doesn't work, they charge ridiculous fees for stuff that modern online banks (again I suggest using Revolut bank) do for free, their employees are the worst and they give you the wrong account and then your money gets frozen and whatnot. Overall THE WORST experience I ever made with a bank. Do NOT use!!!
Absolutely the worst banking app experience ever, layout is only readable in landscape out 5 times trying to log in only 1 attempt is successful. The new authenticater app that you need to log in is even worse absolutely a disgrace to bring such an application on the market from a bank with name as Deutsche Bank UPDATE: completely unable to log in with the second app absolutely ridiculous that this is possible from such a bank with such a name.
Worst app ever. How can you release this? Before the new version it worked more or less. Now I cannot log in anymore, saying the whole time that my connection timed out after inactivity. One star, because there is no option to rate the app at 0 stars.
I have just received my debit card, in the dame post as my PIN , but that is the fault of Correos I suspect. Trying to authenticate my card on my PC, following the scanty instructions which came with the card was impossible. I resorted to my Android phone to do it and it managed to authenticate the card. I feel very anxious now, after such frustration.
With the new update I always need to wait for the security authorization just to quickly check my Bank account. It's already safe enough with the pin digit and the finger print of the phone. Please solve this! Thank you!! 🙏🙏🙏
Updated: app is a lot better now Before: App is in general functional except many times returns an error when trying to login, making it an unreliable resource to check the bank account. Other bank apps are on higher functionality level compared to this one
The app is unfortunately not very usable. Lots of error messages and freezing screens make it too bad to use. Please improve asap
Very instable and low quality app. Lots of errors and many times impossible to log in. Very frustrating and therefore incredible that Deutsche Bank delivers such a bad banking app.
Works fine most of the time. Sometimes it gives an error though and I can't log in. All in all not the best, but also not as bad as others might claim.
The worst app I have ever tried. You can never login. It is always crashed. It's ridiculous that a bank app doesn't work. HORRIBLE.
This app works then it doesn't, I've been getting messages saying pops something went wrong for weeks now, nothing to say what I can do to actually see my bank account so help whatsoever
Using Mi Banco app for a while now and experiencing issues every now and then. For such a big banking corporation this app is terrible, but have to keep using it for daily purposes unfortunately.
I am very happy with the service in general. The apps work very well and I can carry out different tasks very quickly.
Since the last update now it asks again for the reference (which I had forgotten) and the pin... And then asks for the fingerprint... Seriously?!? Is anyone at DB spain doing any proper testing of the app before releasing it to the market?
This is the worst app I have ever experienced. It won't download. Tried 4G and WiFi. It is so bad I am changing banks.
After the ui update, the app eats a lot of my phone's battery. it uses 22%, while the next app by usage is at 4%.
This app works only once in a while. It gives error very often. Always need to contact phone assistance for help...

Absolutely terrible, clunky pile of rubbish. It's the worst banking application I've ever used. Really, somebody needs firing for approving to roll this out to the public. It needs totally scrapping and starting again, as it's not the slightest bit user friendly. Navigating it to find what you want is an absolute nightmare and it doesn't talk to the DB secure application despite deleting both and reinstalling. Not that any other bank needs 2 applications. Basically it's totally pants, avoid it.
