I have 3 x YT1 Wifi adaptors, which work well with my old S8 phone. I've changed to a S10 and now NONE of the devices show up in my app. The old settings work with Alexa but I cant change anything in the App. Please fix it. Milights work really well but you need to have stability in the device.
Works well with Mi-Light 2.4 GHZ Series. However Grouping of YT1 is not possible. As one YT1 can control only 1 Zone, Grouping of YT1 Wi-fi Remote control is essentially required. Further Voice commands are limited and Voice command for Saturation is not available.. If above two points are incorporated then functionality will be enhanced a lot. Requested to incorporate same.
Yes, it's a nightmare. The device never shows up in the list. I believe I found the problem & solution: in my case: router DNS was set to Google DNS 4.4.4.4 I've changed it to ISP default and it worked. But I think developers should correct the issue.
Simply not working, said it found 5 bulbs, while I o ly have 2, success, but don't showed up in the list. Sometimes You can get one ore another, if You connect 1 by 1, but then disappearing when You try to chaine them. Also some message pops up with chinese letters.
What a joke. Pure trash. Won't connect to my MiLight wifi hub. Now since i reset my hub, i need to reconfigure my whole system just to get it back the way it was. Don't bother. Read the rest of the reviews and save yourself a battle that's already lost.
Does not work with YL5 controllers. No device is ever added to the device list No support Ok got it working. First I borrowed an Apple device. Installed the Apple version. Got everything working Reinstalled the Android version on my phone. But set up a new MiLight account. Then from the Apple SHARED the items in the milight device list. Shared using sharing function in the Milight app. The devices then showed up in the device list on my Android Phone. Not pretty but it works
Don't know what I am doing wrong but this will not work for me. It will find the controller and say it is successful, but then never show item in list. Works fine with mi light v4, but that doesn't have an account for alexa
downloaded the App and try to register but the app freezes and nothing happens!? really frustrating, cant operate my lights....disappointing and hope someone can fix this?
The pairing was easy but the remote type does not change. I can control only one lamp, one zone.
Connecting YL5 with this for Alexa voice control is a NIGHTMARE, if you're lucky enough to finally get it to work, the amount of dropouts and device unresponsive messages Alexa gives you is another nightmare..... Thinking I should of went with hue from the start.......
The app works ok, but my light bulb wont go online after i turned it off on the switch. I don't know what to do, and I can't find a way to reset the bulb.. I have the Mi light YB1. Is there a way to reset the bulb without using the app?
only works on Wi-Fi. trimmer doesn't work all the time. you can't save pre set colours
it doesnt work... cant connect the wifi LED controller. nightmare to even try to get it to "blink quickly"
GUYS I HAVE FIXED THE APP!!! Just uninstall and buy the Phillips Hue lights, easy fix. This app is trash, now it just force closes.
App works great including remote but no Alexa skill for Australia either. Hope the developer will seriously consider making the Alexa skill for Australian users aswell.
Typical... Doesn't work at all. Magic Home can at least work most of the time. This is impossible to setup.
App works OK but struggling to enable it in alaxa "skills". Tried deleting my account to start fresh but doesn't seem to delete.
Absolutely rubbish. Keep losing saved controllers. Shame that Milight doesn't work with Tuya.
terrible app, always need to login, slow and many bugs! Google should not allow such app in the store
This is the worst app, I cant even add the light. I would spend 50€ more for a smart Light with a better app

It seems that they've stopped maintaining this. The alexa skill won't connect
Hi, app looks good, but do you know if the skill will be aviliable in the UK?
Please add Google Home support. Would be much more useful than Alexa.
The app connects and controls the lights but it's very poorly implemented. Notifications/warnings appear in Chinese. Have to force close the app and login each time for it to find devices to control them. I find the best way to control the lights is by smart speaker rather than this app. Also the colour ring in the app isn't quite accurate and doesn't match the colour. This app needs greatly improving.
