Michigan First App

I used to love Michigan Firat but now that I moved to a new state, they are transferring money from my savings to my checking to pay for overdrafts when Im enrolled in the MoneyNow program. This is starting to become a very big and annoying issue. Im switching Credit Unions.

The app doesn't accurately show account balances/ transactions. you could be responsibly moving money around based on what this app tells you and still be charged fees bc it doesn't show real time balances. Happened twice to me already that I've had to get fees reversed bc of a transaction that doesn't show until hours later on my end that the teller can see way before I was shown the difference. Why do i have this app if I have to just guess at what's in my acc? Still happening in 2022, liars.

Mobile deposits have turned into a mess. Every paycheck I deposit on Friday is held till the following Tuesday. Not a single person can explain to me why this is happening. I have been banking here and using the app for many years and have never had an issue nor been in bad standing with any of my accounts. Nor have my paychecks ever bounced. This has only been happening the last 2 months.

What is the reason I cannot make a mobile deposit? The app is constantly closing out completely when it's time for me to scan the back of the check. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!

Save so much time! I've been a member for a long time and I love how simple this app is. It's very responsive and user friendly. Sometimes you have to log out and back in to see some transaction appear. Please fix this.

Great for not going to the bank. Recently stopped working though. I get the notification that someone signed into my account, but the app stays on the login screen.

I liked the app a lot, however, recently there's been a problem with depositing checks. It keeps closing app before I can finish. I've restarted my phone and reinstalled app. When this is solved I'll give this app a 5/5 for sure.

It was working fine but the last few times I've logged in the fingerprint login has not been working. I love that feature and I was so happy that you had that feature in your app. Now it switched itself off for no reason and when I try to enable it, I hit the toggle for it, it asks me to confirm my password and I do and after I hit submit it switches off and it's an unending loop of that without ever being switched back on. Very frustrating.

Very easy to navigate. Can easily transfer money between accounts as needed, and do mostly all my banking at home, whether it's depositing checks, sending money to other members or through zelle. It is an excellent service. Only issue is occasional bugs that don't allow you to use the app temporarily. It is a small inconvenience, but inconvenient at times nonetheless.

I have been using this app over 10+ months & it is super convenient. It is truly a must-have app for your phone. You can easily & quickly stay on top of when money is being added into your account immediately or when money has been deducted immediately by setting up in-app alerts. You can also easily complete transactions of switching your money between accounts when needed. It's basically matching the information you would receive at the credit union ATM.

It is the end of November, a few months after the update. The app won't take an image of a check to deposit. The app crashes. I called the Credit Union, they didn't know anything! I uninstalled and reinstalled the app (latest version) - same problem. App won't photograph check, crashes. (The number in these comments is the main Credit Union number btw, they don't know anything about the app). Update - I tried again after receiving an email from the developer - same problem.

Every single time I open the app, I have to completely reenter my full login info, even though I've toggled over the 'remember me' button, which is supposed to keep my username logged on. Then, I notice that my 'quick balance' symbol is also missing, even though I've gone into my settings at least 45 times in the last 3 weeks, to turn on my quick balance settings for both my savings and checking accounts. I've called customer service over this issue and still it persists! I'm very frustrated!!!

You can turn online transactions on and off and you can create a spending limit. You can get text notifications each time you spend. The userface is easy and user friendly. The design is simple and informative. I really like the app. I have not updated yet so I'm hoping when I do all the functions will still work properly.

The best banking app out there. It has a ton of features that makes your banking needs easy, convenient and most importantly to me, safe. I have other credit and debit cards that dont come close to the michigan first app. The customer ser ice reps are also very helpful and friendly. Overall, I am very satisfied with this app.

This app does not work well. It doesn't stay connected. I can't not complete a deposit without it failing.

The app was pretty easy to use. I've currently have been using it for a year and a few months. It's just when your done making a transfer between your accounts. Like when transferring from savings to checking. It takes a moment to update the balance once you've returned to the main screen.

I purchased the auto through Michigan first when I purchased the auto they told me after a year I could come back in and refi and that I could get a little interest rate. So I carried my loan with Michigan first for a year when I went back in and refi I did all the paperwork and waited and waited and waited only to be told that they do not refinance their own loans so I had to go to another place another credit union and get my car refinanced with the lower rate and I'm happy with that credit Un

For some reason when I put in my correct log in information, it locks my account and loops the unlocking process.

Newest update still crashes on samsung devices

I use the app all the time. It super easy to use, the only problem I have is I did everything to add an external account it say accounts are link but I see nothing.

Yes it's true that I'm a new customer but it doesn't matter and this is why. Customer Service, Cheap monthly rates, and credit building had me sold 💯

I was on hold with the help desk for 20 min, got hung up on. Called back, on hold for 45 min. App shows I am locked out of my account. Was told I am not. I can't log in. She reset it for me and had me re-enroll. That doesn't work either. Told me download the new version. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, nothing works. I cannot access the app. Why is this?

I was a victim of fraud a few days ago. Had to shut my mobile banking down and get new accounts. I am having trouble registering my new accounts on this updated app. Never had problems before now. This is so frustrating! Please fix this! I am having issues downloading the new app. It keeps saying pending. I am going yo my provider's store to see if they can load it for me. This is the worse experience!

Not able to use Zelle. My contacts will not load. I have removed app four times in hopes of being able to use Zelle.

When I first downloaded the app anytime I would swipe my debit card for anyting it will ring to my phone mediately letting me know that my debit card has been used! Now I don't get a notification until my transaction has gone through & the funds have been taking, which doesn't let me monitor fraud well😔. Other than that its amazing!

Great credit union you have access to your money at all times i've never had any issues with using it anywhere. You can also go in to see one of the tellers and they're very kind and answer any questions you may have, they also have options for cars loans which are at a very resonable price and APR.

I have been using this app for awhile now and at first everything seemed to be going smooth at first. Now almost everytime I try to get into my account there is an internal errror and I cannot access my account. I really wish that there was a fix to stop this issue because it is really annoying when I cannot even log in to transfer money or do anything for that matter.

I love it its very convenient app. It saves time, especially going to the ATM to get your balance or to also turn your debit card on or off. And it have everything for you to see for all your accounts. Very useful app. I love it.

It's really the easiest way to remotely deposit checks. There is an in-app camera with active guidance that will help you get it properly aligned to photograph, along with clear instructions on what to do with the check. Also makes it very easy to transfer money between accounts at a moment's notice. Very handy.
