Horrible navigation, not at all easy to use. Do not expect to find what you are looking for without the whole MCL designation.
Finally, my personal State of Michigan Law Library
Love this app! Super easy to search sttt by title, section number, or predictive phrasing. Also has a bookmark feature - very handy. Lets you know when updates are available. Yes, you have to pay for it, but it's worth 9.99 a yr for goodness sake to have this at your fingertips, wherever you go, whatever time it is. For any whiners out there: stop being stingy - you'll be glad you did!
In order to see penal code and criminal law, you have to pay for them. The state of MI has them listed on its website for free.
I paid $5.99 and it was hard to search for anything back when I first paid for it. Now with the update you can find jack #$%@. Words or MCL numbers NOTHING!
This is a very informative & fairly easy to navigate app. I was surprised how much information there was and how I was able to find what I was looking for, mostly. Some of the laws are almost repetitive, because some laws just are, and some could use more information instead of just the codes and numbers, which there is nowhere in the app to do a search for. It gives you enough of a jumping off point that you can really narrow down whatever it is you're looking for or trying to investigate.
