@Teresa - I don't know exactly why, or, if this app is entirely necessary but there's another "(Full)" version of the Michigan Lottery App that actually does work. It allows you to sign in (since this one doesn't). Also, the other version allows you to scan lottery tickets to check for winners or losers. I'm not positive but it might make you download this version before the other one becomes available (visible). Sounds strange, but I guess whatever works! Good Luck!

I really like the app and the free spins and promotions. I've been having fun playing and have already won 120 bucks! I was skeptical at first but it turned out to be pretty cool. UPDATE : I have not gotten any free spins nor coupons the last like 3 deposits. I am not winning anything now, they're just taking my money. Pretty disappointing since I was hoping the app would be legit, but I think they let you win in the beginning to get you reeled in and then they don't let you win anything. Lame.

I download the app to scan scratch off tickets and the scanner didn't work. The green line showed up but nothing happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled hoping that would fix it but it did not. I probably would have checked out the app to see what else was available but I really just needed the scanner to work.

Stupid app wouldn't allow me to purchase power ball tickets for whatever reason, after purchasing many times prior. Tried to email and live chat with someone with absolutely no answer. What's the point in trying to reach out to someone through the app if noone answers. Guess I'll just go to the store and purchase. The app obviously does not work as advertised.

In order to even use this app you gotta update to the Michigan Lottery Full App, and to get that you have to go to your security in your phone and allow installations of unkown sources, It's worse and worse, when it changed in 2018 it was okay, use to get free play SOMETIMES when I did the spin to win wheel. This year 2019, I have been spinning EVERYDAY and haven't got one free play just entries and I think the entries are worthless/scams. Spins To Win and Second Chance a waste.

Everytime I play the online games on Michigan lottery, I am experiencing, that someone is controlling if you win or loose ,the games are not consistent, I have spent thousands of dollars and found out this ,and when they give you free games ,you will experience the free games are slow or you get kicked out ,I thought it was my internet but it happens everytime and my friends are also experiencing the same problems.

First off the lottery scanner is not working so I can't check my tickets. Another problem which I have reached out multiple times to get help for is the fact that the coupons that you get expire prematurely. I lost over $70 worth of in-store coupons because they expired early. I talked to customer service about it and they make it seem like it's my fault which is completely crazy because I was about to use them once I saw that they all expired on me. Plenty of things need to be fixed

Thought using the app would be great... buy a ticket without going to the store. Well it might be if it took a major credit card. Tried both both visa and a Mastercard. It should support both of these according to the site. Deleted the app and account because it's garbage.

I requested a payout for 10 whole dollars over a week ago and still have not received it. It still says pending on the app. Ridiculous were is my interest. Seems like a good class action lawsuit if they're going to hold onto my money this long I deserve some interest. It's linked to my debit card funny other apps can put the money in my account instantly.

Can be extremely slow to load can look say it's loaded and not show anything can be difficult to use or get to the scanner. Of course everything seems to work when you're trying to buy something on there and play but the daily spin and the scanner it can sometimes not load at all.

App isnt working and I keep getting bounced out!!! Please help! It has happened numerous times to me and my fiance. We'll be playing a game or submitting 2nd chances and be kicked off the website or game itself and can't get back on for a hr or more.

(On the full App there is nowhere to review it so I'm putting it here) When I try to play the online games it takes forever for them to load and after 2 games it says technical error and sends me back to the lobby. It gets frustrating. 😕 Other than that lots of fun

Heads up, they expect you to give up the last four digits of your social security number just to scan a barcode. The justification is to prove I live in this state. Overkill much? Plenty other ways to do that without putting that kind of data at risk. Besides even if I were lying - the agreement probably says I forfeit my reward and ticket cost if I don't qualify. Man, someday, thats gonna be one uuuuugly data breach on the news.

This app/business is the biggest scam on GooglePlay!! Do not fall victim to this lottery scheme. I know it's all about chance, but even with the kenos, the numbers you pick rarely are called, but once you pick a different set, then the previous draws are right there on next play, and play after play. But your new numbers are next to nothing. Absolute ripoff, stay away, you've been warned!!! Better things in life to spend money on, like the Indiana lottery. Way better odds, Go out of state!!!!!

In the full app, if you make a second purchase of easy picks for the same drawing, you will get duplicate sets of numbers. This means Michigan Lottery gets extra money from you without increasing your chance of winning.

Lite version does not have scan capability. Asked to download "full" version, yet due to Google policy it is not in Play Store. Asked to download from unknown source. Not going to do that. This does not instill any confidence in the security of the Michigan Lottery. This app is useless. Like the Lottery website, it's hard to even look at. Too busy. Terrible user experience.

The app is super laggy. Sometimes things don't load at all or take a very long time to load. And don't download this thinking you might gamble a little and win something. You'd have better luck throwing your money off the top of a building and seeing if anyone brings it back to you.

Ive had this thing on my device for over a year Im guessing. So today? I tried to use their scanner. Its supposed to alert me IF my scatchoff ticket is a winner or just a waste of $$$ The thing is useless. It doesnt scan shht. Just looks at your tickets barcode with an out of focus lens. Wrote support. The girl wrote me back and said I shoud install the full version of the app not their lite version. Well I have the full version already installed, so nobody there knows wth is going on💯

The spin to win is awful. I constantly get 10 entries and at least with then old way, the more you spent the more points you accrued for purchases. No you don't have a choice.

First off, this is the LITE version, and you will need to figure the ins and outs of your phone to actually download the "GOOD" version. On top of spending 30 minutes figuring out how to work a phone I had for years (they only give advice for one specific android phone model and do not cater to the rest of us) Once I was able to download the dumb app, and open it, then I try to register, and after giving last 4 of social security and birthday and all my info, they tell me they cannot VERIFY me?

Extremely poorly designed. As others have complained, you must set up an account, including entering personal info such as your birth date and the last four digits of your social security number, just to scan a lottery ticket. THEN, the scanner doesn't work anyway! Fix this app Michigan Lottery!

Annoying that it requires you to disable internal protections on your phone "that may be harmful to your personal device or data" in order to download the full app. And this can only be done by DL'ing the Lite version 1st. I get that apps access certain things, but the developers already made it 2much trouble + steps as it is out of the gate. Then they want you to risk leaving yourself wide open to who knows what thru your phone. Yeah, you need to revamp your strategy here, Michigan Lottery.

Total bs. Just to scan a ticket you need to create an account which includes giving your social and other information to prove your identity. What kind of lottery app makes you jump through hoops like this? I made the account and they wanted me to contact customer service with documents to prove my identity before I could use the app. I later tried again with another email and they said I had another account and to contact customer service. Not worth the time or energy.

This app has apparently been intentionally designed to frustrate and annoy. Can you tell me why you have to have an account just to scan a ticket !? Good luck at trying to create an account, because according to the app I already have one even though ive never created one and quite frankly unnescary in my opinion.Good Luck with tech support because that seems to be non existent. On top of it they ask for WAY TOO MUCH personal info.Is there PROOF that students WIN because of the Lottery?

I downloaded this app so I could scan old lottery tickets. Nope. Have to download the FULL app instead. How to do that? Not on the google store, THIS app redirects you to the Michigan Lottery site, has you turn off security measures to sideload the real app. Thought I could scan a ticket then? NO. It's only for registered users, so then you have to register and make an account just to scan a single lottery ticket. Should have taken my chances driving to the gas station and walking inside and asking them to check them, for free, without ID, or doing questionable things to my phone.
