Michigan Radio App V4

App used to work just fine. The past month or so, however, it's begun dropping... all the time... having to stop whatever I'm doing to start it up again... like every 5-10 minutes. As this is basically my radio at home, it's become very tedious & annoying. Have been a devoted NPR fan & supporter for almost 40 years & this is just disappointing. Please fix.

This app has had on-and-off problems from the beginning. Right now, it's in one of its "on" times (as in it's having problems yet again). When it works, it's great. But it's super frustrating that it frequently has issues. I'm giving up and uninstalling. I've switched to WEMU.

There were issue with the Michigan Radio app not streaming after an Android update earlier in 2021. I found that deleting the app, restarting my phone,, then reinstalling the app restored its functionality! The Michigan Radio app is one of the better radio station apps I've used and I now recommend it!

Uodate: even worse, it no longer functions at all on Android 11 (crashes immediately on start). Streaming audio is settled science. This is the only streaming app I have that does a poor job of buffering, so the audio frequently skips and is interrupted.

The app stopped working on my droid about 3 days ago. After opening, it buffers for a while, then shuts off. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting, etc , all the usual fixes but nothing helped. It works fine on my laptop.

Cashes constantly, regardless of the phone I have it on. Crashes every time the data stream switches from wifi to Cellular. Whats consistent is that you get to hear advertisements every time you start it back up again after it ctashes.

I've been frustrated, for SEVERAL years on MANY devices, because the app pauses... sometimes for 2sec, 6sec, 40sec, sometimes for good. Now it seems I can't get more than 2min uninterrupted and always have to hit play again.

The radio stream constantly stops and starts every 5-15 seconds, often replaying the intro ad. It's the only reason to use this app, and it does not work. Find another way to stream.

This app development is less than average. It continues to show up in my notification area even though the notifications are turned off. Sometimes the ap Bep just stops transmitting for no reason whatsoever. Two stars is generous

Zero issues and it delivers exactly what I wanted as the radio stations nearby often cut out. Not sure why people were having buffering issues as I have this on 3 different devices and all work great.

I agree with all of the reviews I am reading about this app being garbage. It constantly cuts out due to buffering issues which requires me to continuously shut it down and reboot. Why can't you fix this issue? You certainly have enough feedback that there is a problem.

Been using the app for a long time with no problems. After upgrading to Android 11 the app crashes when trying to open. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling but still crashes.

Terrible performance on the app. Keeps cutting out, almost every 2 min while working outside, restarts the intro line Michigan radio blah blah from frequencies 91.7 etc

This app has been my covid companion since April, then it suddenly went to permanent buffering mode a few days ago. Force stop, uninstall and reinstall, close and reopen..... nothing worked /-:

The android version of the app has been unreliable. This latest update fails to load. It crashes immediately.

It's OK. GUI is about as stale as the drone of Terry Gross on Fresh Air (love the show, by the way ... But definitely have fallen asleep to her soothingly low affect!). Would be nice if it had DARK MODE.

Poorly designed and incompatibilities with microsoft/android leads to loss of access, utilization, and ddonations! Sorry.

Streaming quality can be iffy. It will unexpectedly stop streaming. The app needs a feedback feature.

The app is fine, but the play button needs to be significantly larger. This is the main thing most listeners want. Make it easier to get to.

Recently received a message that says they know the app doesn't work but if you do this then do that then do this in your settings it might work. Pass Make an app that works.

Drives me crazy. You lose reception every few minutes. I have messaged Michigan Radio and nothing is happening. Maybe I should stop giving them money.

I love NPR and Michigan radio. But the last few weeks the app doesn't show any of the news headlines like it used to.

Playback on my Android device is at SLOW speed. is there a patch, secret handshake or other way of adjusting this??? I'm unable to hear my programs.

Shuts off after a few minutes. I have to keep restarting by pushing play.
