Our fully functional and secure web portal is now available for protocol management, and the release of this version of the MicroGuide App is the first in a line of self-maintained specialist content management systems directly linked to mobile technology produced by Horizon Strategic Partners.
Each organisation that subscribes to the service can currently manage up to two antimicrobial guides simultaneously;
Adult MicroGuide ---------------

- This module is based upon the successful pocket guide to first-line empirical antibiotic therapy for specific childhood infections, developed at University Hospital Southampton in 2010/11 by specialists in paediatric infectious diseases, microbiology and pharmacy.
Treatment recommendations are provided for common childhood infections in addition to a number of paediatric sub-specialities including gastroenterology, cystic fibrosis, oncology and ophthalmology.

40 app errors in 7 days. Crashes everytime I open it (on android) and even when I haven't. Draining my battery running (and repeatedly crashing) in the background. Please fix bugs so it can work on android, as the app is very useful at work (for those with iPhones...)
The App Microguide detail a Nice ,simple, concise and well structured outline of guideline/protocol for antibiotics use for various organ-system and various disease pathology . The beauty of this app is that it is uniquely tailored to meet each Hospital/NHS Trust needs and practices while still maintaining the Nice guideline as it's cornerstone. I find this App very useful in my whole carrier and would recommend it for every doctor practicing in the UK irrespective of grade/level.
Dangerous as it is literally unusable but relied on by many hospitals. I managed to download an old version that still works because my patients were being put in actual danger. I wrote to the authors a few weeks ago, no reply or acknowledgement as yet. Don't know why they changed it, the old version was fine.
It's not working for the last 3 weeks , and no body from the management is responding. I downloaded the latest version after deleting the previous one but it's not working and I already sent an email to the given email address. No body answered.
Content is great, but it just keeps crashing and it constantly runs and crashes in the background. Thus using my battery and interfering with my use of other apps or just even been phoning people
Still crashing and killing my battery, when I use it, I have to restart my phone to stop it running jn the background and crashing for hours after. Content is fine, running is rubbish
Only option out there for Waikato DHB guides app wise as far as I can see. Works great when it works, but consistently and repeatedly crashes in the background...
Crashes about 8 times a day as it runs in the background. Also crashes frequently when opened. Reinstalls and cache clearing does not fix this.
Updates don't happen in the background so usually have to spend a lot of time updating before I can find what I need. App frequently crashes and needs redownloaded.
Downloaded Central Manchester guidelines but can't open them. Sent feedback saying that but no response. Also, my Trust not listed, so I put myself as in Central Manchester Trust which is near but not mine. Could that be why I can't access those guidelines? I can access Oxford guidelines.
Unable to download app Need help it keeps on crashing in between. Pathetic service from horizons. No one bothers to fix issue with this app. A BIG SHAME FOR THE APP DEVELOPERS!
Excellent app. Different hospitals have more of less comprehensive guidelines but in general very good.
Very good information, easy to use app but not infrequently all the options will appear as unavailable and the app has to be restarted to access data.
Would be useful if wasn't CONSTANTLY crashing. 90% of the time can't even get to the relevant page.
rubbish app doesn't update and when it does doesn't search guidelines and when it does that doesn't let me open the guideline. I just use the desktop version.
Update doesn't happen automatically and I always end up spending lots of time to update it. User unfriendly in that regard
Clean interface. Reliant on local authors so variable coverage but easy to get to info needed.
Application crashes frequently and runs in background draining battery life. Please fix.

Useful information but not user friendly, the search function never works, any search result that is clicked says i have not downloaded the required guide when i in fact have done so

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app as i was told there were some issues with the app. Haven't been able to register for the last 2 weeks. The app does not recognize my work email address and the page with the manual set-up details does not work. Very dissapointing.
