Getting the app to work took a bit of time and effort, although this could have easily been the device it hooks up to. This is not why the app needs work. The app is simplistic and feels like it was written in an afternoon by a contract coder. This is not why the app needs work. This app is no better than just writing down the numbers via a pen and paper, or even taking a picture of them. This is why the app needs work. Google Fit integration would do wonders for this app. Bluetooth to just get a log you can't even export to a text file is not a very useful feature.

I do recommend...although there is some button pushing involved to acquire the results... Android 7.1 works well, Android 9..not so much... Is a little disarray in using function, go here.. go there.. do this... do that, then you finally get to see results... too much button pushing to get the end results. I like this device and would recommend. It needs a spot to add 02 readings on the main BP screen without having to go to the notes screen to get that important info.

This app is a little rough around the edges. Visually it's dated. User experience wise, it could be significantly easier to use by guiding you through the first time setup instead of providing a separate tutorial. Side note: if you have the BP3GY1-2N model sold by Costco and it's rejecting the Bluetooth connection, try holding down the start button until it displays "CLR PR" and try again. I couldn't find the solution to this problem listed anywhere, had to figure it out on my own.

Worked great at first. Then an update, and now it won't connect, shows up on screen, then says can't connect. Blah blah blah. Update: it wasn't the easiest thing I've done, but I was finally able to get the app to talk to my Samsung 9+. It is now a pretty seamless interface. Too many settings on devices to make this simple for non tech individuals.

Not usable. Just like IOS, this app is junk for at least two major issues. First it only syncs when it feels like it. New Motorola phone and has failed sync three days in a row, to add, once it fails you are done. Can't get it to attempt sync again. Second, you cannot add reading manually. You definitely need to be able to do this. If it fails you can add it plus your device is not the only way your PB is taken. Thought that after some time this would be fixed, well it's not. It will be uninstall

I read the instructions booklet and followed the apps tutorials, but couldn't get past selecting the device and pairing. I worked at it for an hour and couldn't successfully pair or download any measurements. I'm an engineer and have written cell phone apps (and Bluetooth drivers), but I can't for the life of me get this app to do something useful. I'll likely return the device to Costco due to the poor performance of the app.

As many have noted, bluetooth is terrible. Bluetooth would initially connect but would never sync any data. Tried unpairing and pairing the unit a second time. Would never connect after that. Tried restarting my phone, pulled batteries from unit, etc. Same thing happened with a second unit. To be fair, it could be the hardware is terrible but no way of knowing.

Purchased the Costco version, the normal modes work well and seem to match other machines and the doctor's offices. The blue tooth features, don't bother....I have to fuss with it and manually connect my android device, then go through the dashboard if I can get it to work. It is so much easier ***and much less frustrating *** to use one of the free apps available from the stores. If I have to spend two minutes pairing up and syncing, why bother... I can enter my readings faster on a manual ap

Just added today's update. My phone can see the device but still won't pair (android). Very disappointing. I can only see the device from the Bluetooth settings on my phone (when selected, the pairing doesn't finish). I was expecting to enter the code displayed on the device screen but was never prompted. The device does not show under the Microlife Connected Health app when scanning. I have a Samsung Galaxy 10+ (w/latest android version).

What a useless app. It's more trouble to sync with it than it is to simply enter the readings manually. It does nothing except keep a list of readings. Doesn't sync with anything else, like Google fit, doesn't provide any data visualization or analysis, it's just utterly useless.

The device fails to connect to my phone over bluetooth. I tried two different Android phones (I have the feeling that Apple users have more luck). I tried to get in touch with the Microlife support desk and sent them messages but they're clearly ignoring me. I'm returning the device to the store for a refund and uninstalling this app.

I bought a new Bluetooth Microlife BP meter to replace my old USB Microlife meter because my old one was reading low. Was I surprised how utterly useless the software for the new meter was. My old software would not only give me average readings for the BP, but also min and max values for the BP and for the pulse and pulse pressure. It would also give me three different types of graphs including a histogram and correlation plot. You can't even print the results.

Works good, but takes a little work to get it paired. On the first go for pairing, I was looking for something that says Microlife. But quickly figured out it was BP3GY1-2N. And in order for the app to sync, you must allow for full autonomy. After that, you are on your way.

Failed to connect via Bluetooth...device replaced once already, and has now failed again and won't re-pair with pixel 4a phones. Junk hardware, and will try to get money back from Costco. Update 03/13/2022 bug in app, triggered by Android security update, program recognizes wrong device model number, won't connect to it. Cause has been known known for weeks. Still not fixed. Junk software from Taiwan. Don't waste money or time.

From within the app, the Bluetooth pairing doesn't start. If you do it from Android setting, you can pair the first time, but the device and the app don't recognize that the Android has paired. If you try to pair again from Settings, the device changes the passkey each time you try to pair and my Android doesn't have an option to change the passkey.

Horrible Bluetooth problems. Initially connected the first time, but no matter how many things I tried, it would never connect again. It shows up as a device but will not connect. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting my phone, and nothing. Not good!
