Microphone Cast

DO NOT UPGRADE. I upgraded to access all the voice effects. The voice effect button was replaced with an EQ button I don't want and now I can't access the voice effects at all anymore. There was very little delay casting to any of my TV's but after the upgrade it's now a HUGE LAG. I used this app to wake my daughter with the voice effects. Now I've payed for a downgrade that has now made the app useless to me.

App let's you talk through your individual Google home speakers from your cell phone, and it works pretty well. There's no "hey Google" type command, you just turn it on, choose a speaker, and talk. A little scary because if you close the app without shutting the speaker connection it stays connected. Would LOVE to see it do intercom of sorts. Still a really handy little app I use all the time.

Thanks Devs! I'm trying to connect my record players to my home chromecast. There's an app called vinyl-cast that aimed to do this but it's unstable. This does exactly the same thing but actually works.

Casts the microphone input of your phone to the Chromecast audio. Only problem is the huge lag that cuts output every second. I think this app needs more testing and dev in order to cast continuously. I would expect a small delai or a small voici deformation but this is simply unusable. Good luck.

Simple and great. However I can't see three-dot menu, no options are available. (Android 11.) Eg. I am open to purchase an ad-free version. Also I didn't found push-to-talk mode mentioned in the description. I thought there is an option to turn it on. Maybe a mute button to main screen could be great.

While it sees the chromecast, and connects to it, there is no audio. And about 10 seconds later it disconnects. Would be great if it worked, but on my Moto 4 it only sends a video signal. If I cast music through other players I am ok. Mic, no.

Works well but it would be nice if you can set the Chromecast volume inside the app. EDIT: Wow, what a quick reaction 😀. That would be nice, in the mean time I'll just use the button.

I think it's nice based from the ratings. But my phone already has a screen casting feature. I wish it had an option where you can just use your screen mirroring because I'm not using WiFi right now.

Hi there...Great App, I love a nice clean, lightweight easy to use app. So my question to you, I have a Samsung S9, using an external mic via the USB C OTG. The default for you app is using the built in microphone. Anyway to get it to look at an external mic?

It connected with my home device as well enough turn the volume up on all of the devices in. I tried during the microphone on and off. But the end I may as well have been holding a candy bar in my hands.

Took 3 tries to connect and disconnect to a Chromecast speaker before it suddenly worked. Asking permission to use microphone did not appear before trying to connect the 2nd time. Pro price is steep.

Simple and helpful. As i want a mic from which i could sing through mobile. This app was really helpful as i connected it with television or google home mini and had fun.

Very nice. GHome needs two home devices to do this. This app could be improved with TTS feature so that echos can be eliminated if phone and speaker in the same room...

Hi, The application works, with a little delay which is fine, but the voice sounds choppy and very low quality, not sure how we can improve that

The only reson i gave it one star was because i did hear my voice over the device. When i spoke i could literally stop and wait on voice to come later. Not impressed. Need to work on latencies for sure.

Works great, I use with Chromecast to talk to my family through the whole house. Update: was having issues for a while but it's now fixed. Yay!

Update: Works perfect now, excellent work team, Greatest app for casting to my outdoor google home mini, when my deliveries are dropped off, just a simple thank you or come on in. So I'm not having to make my way to greet every guest

Unable to find my T95Max android tv box. Both are connected to same wifi.. Youtube app's casting working fine. But i want to cast to google assistant..

After some fiddling got the app working as it should. Good for a bit of fun or basic PA. Latency very noticeable. Dev responds well.

Barely works. Have to restart the app to find home devices. If you disconnect, it tries to find your casting devices again but fails

Give it a 3 I can definitely talk to other people in the house but as far as listening to them reply ummm no I can't hear a thing. No settings in this app but maybe y'all can improve

i was planning to use this on my public lectures through my tablet but i cant seem to connect it or appeared as disconnected to cast even my tablet is currently connected i was hoping for this for no voice delay because it is important for me as a health worker i am currently using teclast model m40 chinese tablet

I've used it a few times around the house to summon my kids from their rooms and it works well enough but, I only have a suggestion to make an intercom function.

Awesome, I'm using it on Android 10 on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and it works great with all of my Google Home and Lenovo gadgets, clock, display, etc....

Does not work. Sees my Chromecast device, says it has connected, but no sound is produced.

Works but there is literally 30 sec + delay

This is quite clever. Used this to ask the kids downstairs to be quieter when playing without ending up shouting across the house.
