This app really sux. I really screwed up taking my employees from a regular calendar to this app, just to find out it doesn't work. the time entered for the tours as soon as you get off the computer it switches to another time, what the heck is that about, nothing is set, then it's like they expect you to code to set up a date & time nothing makes sense; I never seen such craziness. It should really get a zero. I am embraced.
Very complicated to set up. Takes a lot of testing, and very difficult to test. Lately, the app on my phone simply says "syncing", doesn't work at all.
I enjoy both the web and mobile application, but there should be a desktop application similar to Word/Excel. Also, it isn't reassuring that Connections an Listings was deprecated. It makes me nervous that one day this could be next to be removed. Lastly, this program received very little attention. It's very useful but if it isn't advertised or swiftly enhanced, then it won't gain necessary attraction.
I have been using Bookings in my laptop for my business and it is easy to use, professional and convenient. I just wanted to add that if you use bookings on your laptop it doesnt sync to the app on your phone. So the two don't work together. If i update on my laptop it should update immediately on the app but then it rolls and says syncing for hours and you can't stop it. The other way around isnt a problem. Also it doesnt keep a list of bookings a client does on their profile.
Bookings adds much needed functionality to Outlook and is integrated beautifully across devices and platforms. I would love to see an option for SMS notifications for customers. Bookings is obviously built for businesses to interact with clients, but it would make sense to also offer the option to tailor the functionality for use within an organization. Overall this app is a winner.
The app seems to be easier to use than the website. I wish I could block out times with a different reason other than "time off". Also, I wish I could choose multiple employees per client and narrow down the number of clients per time slot. The email notifications do not have custom data and requires us to go to the booking page each time to get it so that's a bummer. If I had a choice I would use appointlet rather than Bookings.
This app is slowly changing the way we currently make bookings for our student-led conference, the app is great. I have some suggestions. I'm new to bookings but it would be great if the scheduled times would show up in the staff members Outlook calendar. Also when you search for a student that has already booked that you could see their booking time would be very helpful. Worked out how to download a TSV. The only problem I had is trying to find where to download it.
Hi The App is still a little clunky (some specific issues below) and needs some improvement, but seems usable for our purposes so we are intending to start using it next month. In light of #4 below, I'm posting these issues here in the hope they can be addressed soon! (#1) Android App Enhancement Make calendar navigation more intuitive. - Only the current week is displayed at the top, so it's not obvious how to move to another week. - Having selected a date, the month calendar remains on screen, and it's not obvious how to close it. Tapping the Month closes and reopens. Hold down on the month closes, but when you take your finger off it opens again. You have to hold down until it's closed, then slide finger up as you let go. - I only have 2 staff. How does it look with more? (#2) Android App Bug Setting lead time does not pop up the keyboard. - On the Publishing Options screen, I attempted to changed the Minimum Lead Time from 24 to 48 hours. After deleting 24, keyboard input is no longer available (#3) Android App Enhancement Ability to create a new customer on the fly while making a booking. (#4) Android App Bug Error returned when connecting to UserVoice.
I really like that there's a mobile version. I'm excited to see the same features and new ones. I would love to see a staff conditional drop down custom field. I use it for tutoring and our services are by subject, but not every tutor can do each course. Our work around has been to add each course individually which has become unwieldy ☺️
Just installed it and it appears to work. I've been able to see the bookings that were made recently on this app. No issues with login. I still haven't figured out how to see the additional information (required answers to custom questions) that Bookers are suppose to include when they book their appointment whether it's on the app or desktop. Can only see the answers to the standard Bookings question fields, i.e. name, email, phone number, address, even though only name & email are required
Everytime I sign in to app it seems to freeze up during syncing.....tried dozens of times, force close, reopen, freezes over and over again....tried uninstalling, reinstalling, no luck...if i.cant book appointments or make edits, etc on the go, what the h%ll is the point.....I will end service shortly and transition to something more reliable.....oh, I have a brand new s10 android, so its not the phone if that's what your thinking....
Downloaded added my business email and password and login flashed several screens then tells me my password is incorrect, which I know for a fact isn't as can log in from pc with these details. The reason for reinstalling was because it stopped syncing with my account and could view my business booking. I did email via the app but nothing happened. Disappointed.
Won't update hours, totally useless. I have to log on the 365 website on my computer to change my business information bc the app freezes and won't save anything. It doesn't reflect the changes I make either, so the app is a total dud.
Simple and easy to set up . Like how I can use it to get prospective clients to book a meeting time that fits my schedule without all of the back and forth e-mails. I use a Samsung Note 20 and I have no problem with the app at all...works perfectly for me.
The concept is good but it needs refinement as it is long winded in some of the processes and the URLs can be way too long. My main concern is its not recognized by Instagram and other social media sites to assist in supporting yr business. What's up with that Microsoft 365?
"Unable to update..." comes up frequently. My existing calendar events don't appear in calendar view. Can't see staff. Can't report a problem or give feedback because those functions fail too. There's really not much you can do. Must wonder why Microsoft released this junk.
I love it on my work calendar, but when I try to use it on mobile it can not find my calendar and will only let me create a new one. If I could actually use the app to sync with my bookings that would be great! *Edit - found it, for some reason the name was an invalid email address. No idea why....
I've had this app for almost a year, for the last week I have not been able to use it. The app just glitches as soon as I open it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to work. I have tried contacting Microsoft and have not received a response. I have to login to the website on my laptop to book my appointments. This is very disappointing and frustrating when booking my appointments for my business. I would not recommend this app unless they can get this glitch fixed.
Great in some ways but doing my head in. No Calendar horizontal scroll bar on my laptop in any browser but works fine on desktop. On the app, I can't change the calendar view to anything other than daily, so it's next to useless. Just really confusing
Works fine, but recurring bookings are missing. They are an important element of many businesses, especially coaching businesses. Also I'd like to see integration with not only teams as video conferencing tools... zoom and GotoWebinar are two to mention.
The app keeps closing everytime I try to open it. I have cleared the cache and data, forced it to stop, and i even tried Uninstaller and reinstall. Nothing changed. I had been using this app with no problems until lately. Please fix this app! I am a one- man IT department and need this app for service ticket appointments!
Missing integration with 3rd party video conferencing, tidy links for sharing, integration with payment processes or like stripe or PayPal and ability to share links to specific service types. Other than that it's a great platform and I'm willing to wait for additional features. Will rate higher as some of these features are added.
Needs to be updated. I constantly get reminded that the software needs updating but there are no updates available. I logged out of the app to refresh it, and I was permanently locked out. When I type in my email, I get this error saying: "Sorry, something went wrong." What went wrong? I don't know. Now I am no longer able to access the account. Terrible.
Bookings is an idea that is only half realized. You can't schedule recurring events. You can't set in-person appointments to have less than 2 people. In-person events don't tell you who is scheduled on Outlook or on the app; the only place you can see it is on the Office 365 website from a desktop web browser. You can't lookup a customer's appointments without downloading an Excel report. It's been 6 years since Microsoft released Bookings. When are they going to update this to be functional?
