Microsoft Events

Worked great before, but now that I'm at the conference. It's terrible!. Consistent crashes, maps not loading, schedule updates which you have to manually download. If you hit the back key anywhere, the app will close. I have tried this app in two different Android's and an iPhone 8. Same results. So it is not my device. Microsoft, for maps, can you partner with Google Maps or use BingMaps to reflect the venue? It may run better.

What a crappy app. Randomly doesn't respond to taps, doesn't load pages consistently, session scheduler had very very few if any results until I finally found the filter button and, even though no filters were selected, told it to show all and suddenly there were sessions. Notifications in the app fail to load. Reviews take forever to submit and sometimes fail. The map just does not work at all. Totally unclear at first what the stars do and that that is how you "sign up" for a class even though they call it a Favorite. Overall it makes no sense, is a bad design, and flat out doesn't work many times.

It's a good app. My only complaint is that it doesn't automatically scroll down to the current day when viewing "My schedule and favorites". Even adding the ability to select the day of the week with a tabbed layout such as what you have in the "Session scheduler" would be a big improvement.

I used this app all week and did find it very useful despite the problems. Just one that I have not seen in other reviews... The time filter for the session scheduler needs another control than the slider. I could not specify start time on the quarter hour, and the end time slider "dot" impossible to set less than two hours from the start.

As helpful as this app is content wise, I've experienced frustration. It might be due to my older phone, however the symptoms may be related to how it constantly fetches data. I've had it: Lock up and become unresponsive, change to either a solid white or black screen with no recovery, decide that I'm unable to view event listing 'as my filter might be too restrictive' when I don't have a filter applied. I'm glad I've had this to help find things at a conference, but I'm frustrated.

I apparently have to download this if I want information for Microsoft Ignite. I have found the app to be about the same as their website - (a joke) - Incorrect information, missing information, no communication, poor customer service, bad UI, lack of detail and generally a waste of space on my phone. I am really glad to get to go to the conference but based on the app and their website, this is not looking like a conference worth paying for, let alone thousands of dollars per person...

I think the app is great. But when scheduling events or "starring" them. I'd suggest you can use color gradients for the different time slots (7:15-8:15). It will be more visually appealing and easier to differentiate the times. 👍🏽🙂

Overall this app was super helpful during my visit to Ignite, so far. Only 4 stars so far because it's frozen up and crashed a few times. Can't be sure if it's my phone or the app causing it, but it is not a pleasant experience nevertheless.

I installed the app from the Play store on my Google Pixel 2 running Pie. No events are listed when I click All Events. No events are listed when I click the search button. I have uninstalled and re-installed and still no prompt to enter my credentials.

Ignite content is not visible. Just shows a blank page on one device, frequently freezes and crashes on another. Severe responsiveness issues. Messaging feature didn't work, none of the people I messaged received anything

Absolutely horrible..frequently hanging, getting logged out, and data taking forever to sync. Sitting at the Ignite conference and cannot find out where my next session is on my phone. Poor experience Microsoft.

Not clear how to register for sessions, sometimes the popup shows up, sometimes it doesn't. Marking a session with a star means you registered? Description of the sessions are not displayed, all I see is a blank page, on the details view.

This is not a very good app. Had to download to get information on the upcoming Ignite event. It doesn't accept the account/password that works perfectly well on the website. Resetting did not help, app continuously fails to load with an account/password error which is correct, it also does not reset password through app.

Fails to submit evaluations. Session titles are truncated and not fully visible in catalog or calendar. Unable to find available sessions for time gaps, like on the web. Cannot export calendar. And no map available from the menu!! Just too cumbersome to use.

Overall great app. However, event and session survey forms use hard to hit radio buttons. Ideally the form response options would be large, easy to hit buttons.

it lags too much, it crashes almost all the time i open it, it is slow, and things gets frustrating. so please improve the performance.

I can only assume this app has not been updated to work on Android 10. Every time I click on Login the app crashes. I've seen other apps do similar things until they've been upgraded to support Android 10.

Very good, gets all notifications and details on your finger tips. I think it is a bit of power hog, phone keeps on reporting it as consuming too much power, also continuously requires schedule download...

GARBAGE. Freezes constantly across the three devices I tried it on. Makes you scroll past all the events you've attended to determine your next class.

The personal schedule really helped experience the event (MS Ignite AMS). Also the notification and sync every morning to update the rooms of the talks worked seamlessly. My guess is that the filled in personal schedules help schedule the correct rooms, the number of attendees per room matched (almost) perfectly.

This app is indispensable while you're at a Microsoft Ignite event! I'd like to see better ways of getting to information such as when breakfast is served. It's there, people told me, but I couldn't easily find it.
