Microwave Link Calculator
- Distance between the two sites.
- Azimuths from one site to the other one.
- The elevation of each site and elevation of the link, so implementer can estimate the
position to set up the outdoor equipment part on the tower.
- After implementer decides the height of antennas, Microwave Link Calculator will give
you the down tilt of each site (DOWN or UP in degree)
- With input parameters such as: frequency, antenna diameter, antenna efficiency the
app will provide you estimated antenna gain and expected received power (in free
space condition).
- Current GPS Coordinates (latitude, longitude) can be shared immediately to get more
exactly input values.
- Compass is provided if implementer is at the antenna tower (by tap on the current position's marker on map). The compass will tell you if you choose right direction (azimuth value).
Furthermore, with Google Map integrated, the microwave link can be displayed on map, therefor implementer can look at some closer targets (cross-roads, buildings …) to easily determine exactly direction of the link from his site.

Annoying unintuitive interface. Finally start making progress figuring out how to use it and a full screen motion advert pops up. All I want is to find out how far my homemade antenna can reach via line of sight from various elevations, drawn on a map. Work with it some more, try to give it an honest go, every time I call the calculation, it's another full screen ad. I get it, they pay the bills, fine, but they're too frequent and shouldn't take up the entire screen.
Very useful tool. Even without my computer, I can still have this small tool. Incredible!

Map is not update more than a year and developers make a option like choose on map.
Not the easiest app built by Ubiquiti, but once you got it,, it delivered the goods.
Application works great before but now it keeps stopping after launch.. works great again after update..
The App is good, but needs to incorporate PATH PROFLIE and other features in the App

How digficult is to show the profile and 1rst fresnel zone ? As such it is difficult to use on a small screen. Could be an excellent portable and on site app !
