A serious downgrade. I performed a search. Multiple items were returned on the search but no description was displayed to differentiate between the items. After finding my desired item I placed a hold but the app says I have no holds. Navigating between the screens is not at all simple. The old app worked very well, except for being glacially slow, but this new app is poorly done. Hopefully the developers will eventually test it and experience it first-hand, after which they might fix it.

Sub par... Essential functions inoperative. Pros: -much faster than previous versions -now have eCard in case of lost physical card -can quickly review account and hold information Cons: -can NOT place or resume holds! Get an error each time a hold is attempted -the filters option of the search ALWAYS returns no results! -the most important functions of a library app, ie. Advanced searches and holds, are inoperative. I have to get on a computer to place holds or use advanced search options.

I absolutely love this app! Very simple to use. It is really nice to be able to borrow books from libraries at no charge. I love the selection of audio books. I highly recommend this app if you are an avid reader!

Love the new app. Wish the app included the ability to add a book to my "for later" shelf like the website does. Often think of a book I want while I already have several out. I love the "show my card" feature but perhaps an option for it to rotate so i can scan it at the kiosk since my phone won't fit in the scanner.

Ok, but not great. Holds doesn't show how many are ready, you have to go through the list to see status changes. The show card doesn't put the baroda at the top of your screen so you can't use it in the self checkout kiosks.

I've only been using this app a short time and like it very well. The only suggestions I could make for improvement would be to add a wish list and/or tags to keep track of likes, dislikes, and books for future interest. The option of being able to use a profile pic wouldn't be bad, either.

Best app ever! This has revolutionized how I use the library. I always have my card handy now and this app makes it so easy to find and request books. I was just reading a news article where they mentioned a book I'd like to read. In less than a minute I was able to swap to my MCPL app and have the book on hold. That's amazing. Whoever designed the MCPL app.... Please go revamp everyone else's. You are awesome!

Much better. Convenient way to renew and reserve books, plus a digital card in case you need it. Plenty of information and mostly well organized.

Seriously horrible. Everytime I try to search for something it says, something went wrong, offline. And I'm connected!

It would be better if I it would let me copy my card number. I need it in order to log into the website to access other services not in the app.

This is a great app. Super easy to use, and can be used for both print and digital material.

Have been trying to install on my tablet but it is installed on my phone and does not allow me to pick the tablet to use am frustrated!

Navigation can be tricky, but overall it is a great app👍
