This app works great for remote monitoring your home, forgot to lock up? Check to see if windows and doors have been opened. Power outages all over the city and your not sure if you have power at home? Check the system status (big winter storm blacked out much of my city and people weren't being informed) however it doesnt seem to tell you the accurate temp on the thermostat but this doesnt bother me so. (until I change the hold temp it may show me what the temp was several hours ago)
Had midco's home security system installed 6 months ago and malfunctions in app loading viewing camera not connecting just problems from the start and Tech has been over multiple times and they still cannot fix the problem .will not refund my money for the home security system that I paid for I do not recommend Smart Home security system
I usually don't do reviews but it's annoying enough to write one. I have to close my app everytime I want to look at my camera. I don't pay monthly for home security for a crappy app.
Stupid touch pad keeps falling off of our wi-fi for no reason since we did our monthly reboot. Refuses to stay connected! Pretty useless when I cant monitor my home when I'm not there!
Haven't even had the cameras for 24 hours and have nothing but problems already they messed up my order when I called to have them installed then they come back out to finish their job and he points my cameras at the sky what good is that gonna do??? So we re adjusted them ourselves yet again we finish their job....something needs to be done maybe they need to update their system or I will be canceling my service and going somewhere else not very happy at all
Doesn't allow to access live feed. Just closes the application. Tried couple different solutions. I'd change the rating to 4.5 if live video footage worked.
Keeps saying my touchscreen isn't connected to my home internet, when it is. Why the hell am I paying for this service when it acts up EXACTLY WHEN I NEED IT?

We've had the alarm installed for ONE day and nothing but problems. Technicians are coming back out tomorrow. Cameras don't show any video, app crashes all the time, sales managers that don't even know that the equipment we have installed is out in the field yet????? I don't get it. And to pay money for this? I'm very irritated. *update 1 year later... the app has just been updated and it is WORSE than before. Sometimes can't even connect to my cameras. The panel is not good either. If the alarm is tripped it is lags when you have to put the code in so the code takes several times to put in. Annoying. Disappointed.
Today, the wife forgot to lock the front door. Accessed the mobile app and attempted to lock the door from work. Nothing. The app just showed the spinning motion. Might have the whole system take out of my house.
Love the new smart bulb! We use it for our front porch and this morning when the grandsons where getting dropped off at 630 am I was able to turn on the porch light and unlock the front door without having to leave my warm bed by using the app.
The system is fantastic! Works great and is really easy to use! I was in Omaha last week and forgot to set the alarm, was able to set it with no problems what so ever from a different state! Really gives piece of mind to the home.
I've had this app for about a year & have had nothing but problems! most the time the cameras don't work! VERY unhappy with this program! Midco doesn't even care! So frustrating!
The only issue I have had is the front door lock not responding to the mobile app once in awhile, but other than that no issues!
App doesn't work half the time of trying to access from work or car.

Buffers a LOT
This is a Security system, that actually works for a change.
App claims I am not connected to the internet when attempting to sign in. This is the only app with this problem on my phone (galaxy s10) please fix this midco. We have tried with both wifi and cellular data and nothing works. (edit) Spent 2 hours with Midco customer support at our house and the app is still non functional and our cameras are not accessible from my wife's phone. Raising to two stars as they have offered to replace the affected equipment. Will update when it is installed.
