The app overall is a little clunky and sometimes hard to navigate. In addition to that, no matter how many times I activate the pin login or fingerprint login, it never lets me do so. I have to type my password in every time. Unlike other banking apps, it doesn't give you a total amount and an available amount, factoring in pending charges to show how much you ACTUALLY have available. Overall though it is quite usable and a good tool, but with some fine tuning it could be excellent.

It functions most of the time. However, it randomly logs me out and requires me to enroll my mobile number in some notification thing every time I log in. Adding to the irritation, there isn't a functional biometric login option, which wouldn't be so bad if the account auto fill option worked. I guess that has the added benefit of being more secure, even if it's totally unintentional.

Having to re authenticate all the time even after I've logged in from the same phone for months, is absolutely terrible. Horrible especially when you need to check your bank account quickly. Having to re authenticate your phone number is horrible. *EDIT* I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. The issue seems to have been fixed and Midfirst was quick to reach out. The app is working good.

This app is annoying. I have it set up to use my fingerprint to open but it doesn't work. I have to constantly log in. It doesn't save my username. Then it makes you verify by sending a code to your phone that you have to enter. Once you are in the app it works fine. But I feel like the point of installing an app is ease of access. Not with this one. I read other reviews and see others have the same issues I have been having. I love the bank but hate their app.

Edit: This app has now gotten worse. No matter what I do, it makes me do 2FA and add my phone number which is really annoying cause I've had the same phone for so long. It's really annoying when I need to check what I have quickly. Please fix this I am so irritated and frustrated. I've been banking with this company a long time, there's no reason the app should be this glitchy.

This app is annoying. Periodically, you have to input all of your information, verify it via text code, then put your phone number in again, and THEN remember to check the box that asks if you want the app to save your information. YES. I DO. THAT'S WHY I CHECK THE BOX. And is it REALLY NESECCARY to make us hit 'ok' on a banner that says, "Authentication is Required" EVERY freaking time we sign in?!!! I think we know that, that's why we have a password. Doh.

I had to re-edit my review because a year later I can honestly say this is like a relationship I don't want to be in it's more cause it's convenient but not happy at all. One the app I can't stand I consistently have to enter all my info my phone number etc wait for a code just to sign in. Seriously why is it you guys are the only app that can't save my info this is ridiculous I'm like so ready to go banking with someone else simplest things

I love MidFirst bank but this app is trash and it's time they make a modern one. The authentication procedures are just dumb, random and nonsensical. It constantly "forgets" your fingerprint. Or you are able to login with biometrics and then you click on an account to see the register and the app says "gotta make super sure you are you so now you need to authenticate with UN and PW". Which I guess would be OK if the app played nice with PW managers but it doesn't even do that.

It makes me sign in with phone verify or answer security questions. After I click either one it says I can't verify your info. I didn't even get a chance to login. I know password login and pass code 6 digit I setup. Horrible app needs work is all.

This app was initially great- but after an update, it stopped giving alerts which were set up and did perfectly before. Not happy about that- I hope they fix the issue cause alerts about spending, etc are important for peace of mind of the customer.

I was initially having issues with the sign-in process, constantly having to type my password in even with fingerprint scanning on. A IT worker from Midfirst actually reached out to me and helped me solve the problem. As embarrassing as it is to admit, uninstalling and reinstalling the app has worked for me so far. Yeah, bit of a hassle to have to do that, but hey. Technology can be strange. All in all, I'm glad it's working again and that worker is fantastic!

i like the conveniece of it on my phone. There are still things i can't see or do without the desktop version. Update: The mobile app has proven unreliable. Recently I was unable to get into it for at least a week. It kept saying the network was busy, try again later. It consistently locks me out and because it won't accept my password or fingerprint. It is inconvenient and annoying.

As a professional long haul truck driver, Midfirst has been the best bank I have dealt with. This app has been great and keeps getting better. The personnel at the banks and customer care centers are always very helpful. Thank you and God bless.

I can't sign in. I had to get a new phone and no longer can sign in because despite my my sign in and password being correct it doesn't allow me to sign in. I can't use this app anymore because how am I supposed to enroll under my phone number when it's already enrolled. I didn't change numbers just had to get a new device. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

Update AGAIN: Changed my password now it wont accept anything! GET YOUR S$#T TOGETHER!!!!!!! Update: just got off the phone with your customer service. FYI! You don't need my account info to check an app!!!! Just saying!!!!!!! Developers should not have access to ANYONES accounts. Their focus is app issues not bank accounts Since you FORCED me to update the app, IT WON'T OPEN NOW!!! All it says is to update the app WHICH I DID!!!!!! Why FORCE an update if it DOESN'T work!!!!!!

Moderately usable and by Moderately I mean it will show you how much you have available to use but constantly being unable to authenticate my credentials and having to get a text code despite using the same phone for months is a pain. Then add in randomly having to reenroll every so often for no reason just makes this worse

Edited: After talking with MidFirst, and after a few updates, the app seems to be working 90% of the time. It's still annoying when it does white screen, and that I can't use the fingerprint authentication without the issue occurring more often. 3 Start from 1 Star --- The app used to work well. Lately, it won't load unless I reinstall the app. I need this to work so that I can pay my rent and don't want to have to reinstall the app every time. If this continues, I may switch banks all together.

The bank themselves are fine, they meet my banking needs. The app itself is pretty terrible though, lots of freezes and crashes. They really need to hire a designer to polish the app. Tons of little things- no fingerprint support, if you auto-fill passwords doesn't work right for the username, and when you do it won't let you log in until you've manually typed something in both fields. Tried doing mobile deposit for checks, if you need to switch apps briefly it just breaks. Please improve.

Mobile Banking app works good most of the time. Occasionally app has crashed or locked me out a few times for "incorrect password" even though I check I'm entering the password correct. Just call customer service and they'll manually unlock on their end and enter your regular password and it'll open just fine. Doesn't happen too often, but it does happen. Other than that issue I love how you can control your card features by turning it on/off and also control what type of transactions allowed.

The mobile deposit feature is horrible! It never accepts it on the first try. It sometimes takes me days of trying. I have tried on multiple devices, used all the tips the app provides and it still requires at least 3 times before it will accept the picture. Sometimes it says there is no endorsement detected or that the picture is not clear enough. I have even tried elaborate set ups to keep my device as steady as possible. It is incredibly frustrating!

midfirst has great customer service support, but this app is lacking. I frequently experience balance discrepancies (especially on my credit card screen) and the app crashes very often, which has been ongoing despite many updates. would also appreciate seeing an "available balance" summary on my credit card screen instead of having to calculate out the "pendings" and subtract from the displayed "current balance."

This app has many issues over the years but it has been going fine lately until a few days ago. Looks like I'm having the same issues as other users...the app stopped and I only had a white screen. I forced stopped the app and restarted it but still the same issue, I finally had to delete it and download it again. Now it works but the fingerprint scanner option is not available anymore. Android phone.
