Good app. Does fit my needs (I am learning to play the piano). The only problem I encounter is setting a specific play speed (tempo). It should have a button (+ - or < > ) in combination with the bar, for more accurate speed changes. Also it could be great an option to automatically continue playing the next file in the folder.
I love this app! (I just have 2 problems) 1. When exporting midi files, it doesn't convert to ogg. It automatically becomes a wav. 2. When converting midi's to wav. It cuts the audio 3 or 2 seconds early at the very end of the files/songs you convert if that makes any scenes. So a quick fix on that could be nice!! Other than that! I love the app! Useful and helps me not have to use my pc to edit midi files and export them! I'm glad I can also use soundfonts too! ^^
Imo this app is probably one of the BEST midi players out there with the most accurate soundfont. I adore this app sm, it's been SUCH a great help I SWEAR! yet...there's this issue where sometimes whenever you play a midi it freezes your entire phone and glitches the sound, so you'll have to wait until the midi has finished playing in order to use your phone again(unless the midis on repeat😟)... I'd personally rate 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue... Anyway to fix this?
One more feature and it would suit my needs perfectly - support for a playlist and the option to cue up the next song either after the current one ends or is stopped and then wait for a press on the start button. If changes to key, tempo and volume were saved in the playlist, that would make it ideal.
This would have been really nice as you can see and mute individual instruments, change the speed and pitch. The ads started rolling in after 30 minutes so, the fluidsynth doesn't have a voice limit and runs into itself causing garbage, there is no adl. It's passable.
The menu is a mess, no multiple library folders and the midi is crackling + doesn't support other soundfonts. This dev made lots of apps similar to this, but why? There's a good app made by them called MIDI player which is almost perfect but this is not functional and I will copy and paste this on their other copy-paste apps, same problems, same review. 1 star.
Fantastic player with all of the features a musician would like - muting - soloing - key change - speed change. As a LONG time MIDI user, I'm very happy that my 10's of thousands of files have new life with apps like this. ZERO complaints....
I want to be able to use a soundfont on a song I downloaded. I was able to upload a soundfont to the app pretty easily but not a song. also, there's a heart button, which I clicked out of curiosity, and it gave me a "panic sent" notification. I have no idea what the button is for and now I feel really anxious that I wasn't supposed to click it.
Just what I needed. Particularly the speed-change element. I also like the ability to crop a sound file. The only thing that i would like to see is a save option for that cropped file. Otherwise great.
Great experience overall, but I have one major complaint, when exporting to .wav the songs are at a higher octave. Please correct this issue. Thank you.
Decent at playing back files, but when exporting my midis as Oggs or Wavs, it makes it too high pitched and sped up, like a forced nitecore mode. I'll give a better score when this is fixed, but for now it's terrible. Edit: ITS FIXED! Thanks!
First, it wouldn't display the folder I had the MIDI file in and then the ads were so annoying that this is completely worthless. I can't even try it out.
its dows everything i want, and more! only problem is that when i plug in a midi keyboard, i cant play any notes or chose a sound (edit: soundfont i used was bad. make sure you have a good soundfont! i still cant figure out how to chose sound)
Could only play the example midifile. When I tried to open folder it said emulated folder not found. So tried creating a folder called 'emulated' with my midifile in there, it still said not found. App just doesn't work.
The app works as I intended it to but, I have one problem the only thing that works on here is piano related things I can't use mp3 over piano even one's that are piano pieces if it's not from a piano related source it doesn't work can you guys add a download pieces feature I wanna be able to jus download them from there an handle things that way it'd be easier actually if not able then jus make a app that is made for downloading them an to hold them like mp3 piano vault
When going to pay for premium it doesn't show the price, you just get 'accept' option. There's no price anywhere to be seen. Not necessarily app makers fault, but still dangerous
There are times that the midi is loaded but not playing. You still need to restart the app and then re-open the midi to play. Please fix that bug.
Everytime I try to import a midi file, it gives an error like "The directory cannot be read" I've granted all the permissions, still doesn't work
Channel mute is just the sound option i was looking for. having transpose makes this legendary. ty so much. i hate phone flip so i never updated. :P
I was trying to find the MP3s of the sounds I downloaded, but when I looked into the downloads file with this app I can't see it even though I can see it at the files manager Is it a bug or I did something wrong?
Overall very good app works well could be more advanced for example the visualisation like a oscilloscope would be great add to this player
amazing app but sometimes when it plays the midi it lags form the start and all the way through the the rest of it.
Just works! But please make it able to access external sd card folders... Other than that it is probably the best midi player out there
A nice feature you could possibly add in a future update would be the ability to change instrument programs for individual channels.
This app is quite impressive, and will exceed expectations. I love old player piano rolls converted to midi. I have been listening to them for a few years on some other midi player, but trying this one out, I am astounded to discover these century old tunes have lyrics! Who knew? This is definitely now the preferred solution for handling midi files on a smartphone.
