Bravo, Volcano, simply because you make good midi apps. I work and play with other musicians and I always recommend Volcano's midi apps to them, because when it comes to reliable and mostly free controllers and sequencers, you have both. I'm always more interested in apps that I can utilize in both a live and in a studio session. Real-time application is important to me.
The tools are there, but there's no tutorial and I can't actually access the sequencer; it's just a grey blank box. The instructions section doesn't reflect what's on my screen. The drum pads work for me though, and they sound ok.
Very impressed, swing emphasis on the sequencer is vitaly needed though. The ability of a full poly multi timbral 8/12/16bit sampler/pcm stacked oscillator waves and with effects/filters each on each channel would make this a potential monster music making machine. It would be like a having a modern day fairlight in your pocket but with yet easier larger memory functionality and other extensive capabilities.
I love the app, it's great in nearly every way especially external soundfont support but I wish I had fully tested it before purchasing, as there is a bug when going over 6 sequences on Song mode. I hope this is fixed soon because I wish to keep using this intuitive music sequencing software
Mystery meat navigation. There are stuff there. I somehow managed to send some midi signals to my synth. But. Now what? Several things reference sequencing. But I can not find any way how to see that sequence. How to edit it. And how to kill the sound on the android device so I only get the hardware synth sounds. Just a bunch of nondescript buttons here. Why is it so hard to find an app where I can just set up a pattern/sequence and send it over midi to my hardware synth?
It's good, but can you please add an option to load Soundfonts and Midis from the SD Card? It won't let me go farther back than the home folder, where I'd need to go further back to access the files of the SD Card.
Very interesting but when connecting Bluetooth speaker to phone to loud the sound .the sound is not longer in sequential order again. Some instruments played will be scattering. That is my experience But I love this App. Nice App
is the app still working correclty? I can play each pad correctly and send via usb midi fine, but when I play a sequence no sounds are played and nothing is sent via midi. Am I missing something? Thanks
Good sounds and good design! Great app! The only thing stoping me to give 5 stars is the missing piano key role with semitones and for guitar sounds I would like to pluck/touch strings.
Not going deep into it, it seems to work fine, good gui system, better than piano roll, maybe you could make more intuitive in some way or add a tutorial
Is pretty much better than I expected, not just a pad but a whole portable music studio with houndreds of instruments and sounds on all the scale you want to compose...
Tonight alone I have found 20 apps in this field which simply do not work. This one does, and as such am bewildered as to why it's stars are so low.... I think the app world is very corrupt!
rerliable and it works great with my LAUNCHPAD mini thanks for making music experimental and inspiring again...-truth!
This is interesting. Is there a way to get a chromatic scale to write or to change from major? Or is it just through pitch bends?
Can't go to song mode to export midi. It crashes when I tap the song mode tab. It never did this before.
Awesome app, been playing with it for hours. Not the most intuitive, but not too difficult to work out either
It's quite a shame that this app suffers from chronic latency issues of half a second upwards. That's too much of a distraction for me so until this is fixed it gets just the one star.
I'm trying to make a midi but everytime i try to record the midi it glitches and the notes are not on rhythm.
No sequencer? How do I program/edit without one? How do I see what notes are being played when? Why does the "Panic" button do nothing? What is it for? No sequencer=No use for me.
Awsome, but why cant you delete a single note squares data as you can in percussion? Also where did it export to, cant find the file anywhere 4star rating but its the best one ive seen so far 5 stars from me
It was completely out of sinc with my taps when I input anything. Device is a Huawei p smart 2018 if that makes a difference.
Very effective. It just needs transpose capability to be the most wholesome music production app for android
Good potential but simply incomplete and tiring UI
This program so far looks very promising. It has some nice arrangement facilities and I enjoyed playing around with it and experiment with some patterns, though I admit that I haven't gotten around to do anything major with it yet. The only real issue I have with it so far is the lack of black keys in the melody virtual keyboard (it's more like a grid which is cool but still). This review may be updated in the future. Overall, good job and I hope this can evolve into something big :)
