Great selection of movies, very reasonable price. But it's unusable on my chromecast (the "chromecast with google TV" version of the hardware) because the app crashes immediately after trying to use it after logging in. Clearing the app's cache doesn't fix the problem. I can clear the data and restart the app and login again, but it crashes immediately after trying to start it up again after that.

For fans of outsider cinema, b-movies, exploitation, midnight matinee, weirdo genre flicks this is THE streaming service. Movies you'll never find playing anywhere else. If you wanna watch Office reruns keep walking. For those complaining about the commercials: just get the subscription: it's FIVE BUCKS a month, it's way more value than Netflix these days and I'm happy to support the work that goes into curation. That said, the app needs some improvements as far as casting to Roku

I almost never write reviews for an app. Just ratings and that's it. However, this time I feel compelled to write up a review for this particular app. The burning question probably is content. And I will say this, if you're looking for lesser known and obscure content as well as some of the more beloved cult classical franchises, you found your home finally. If it's a lot of well known, big name and original content you are looking for, look elsewhere.

Too many ads, it's a neat app, basically Netflix for cult classics, kung fu, and anime. But the ads are way too frequent, got around 10 interruptions for a 1hr movie, each interruption being 4 30sec ads. The variance of ads is really small so you'll see the same ad at least twice each interruption.

The app is great but it doesnt display correctly on my Pixel 3xl. The top menu bar is directly under the notifications bar overlay so I can't access the hamburger menu, the search, or the chromecast button.

Good categories and pretty straightforward to use as a premium member. Premium/register to watch/free to watch marked pretty clearly on titles as well. Good and weird content hard to find elsewhere.

Too many security issues to finish installing. Trigger installing other apps, access to your camera, running in the background when locked? All that needs to be fixed!

Healthy selection of the bizarre, horror, j-horror, k-horror, ninja/samurai flicks, arthouse, and exploitation films. 4 out of 5 for not having an app on xbox, but it casts straight to my tv sooo fuggit. I've watched an eyeful of movies and they've yet to stutter or drop mid-stream. If you're upset with Shudder's lack of selection these days, I recommend MP.

It has way to many ads to often. I get its to pay for the app but they play more than the movie does and it takes twice as long to finish it.

Not exactly what I expected. But some of the movies are ok. I'm having a difficult time canceling my subscription because the website doesn't seem to allow for it even though it states that you can.

When I make a playlist it would be nice to have them in the order I picked them, like oldest to newest not newest to oldest, that is the only thing that really bothers me. The service is five stars, the execution could be better. I love their asian cinema collection.

Excellent selection of obscure films. If you're looking for a mix of Hong Kong action films, horror, kaiju, and other low budget oddities, this is the app for you.

Awesome collection of movies you might night see elsewhere. But let's never get rid of anything by Miike! Will rate higher once I know how to link my Plus membership from Roku onto other devices. not sure if that's possible yet or not. would love to know more.

Registered and set password. App accepted it, now when I try to login says user name or password incorrect. So can only watch free movies. Would be five stars if it worked right. Or if problem is resolved.

Better than Netflix - I've no idea why anyone would complain about this app. It's free and it streams incredible, rare content that blows the doors off of Netflix's generic, milquetoast content.

it's not right that you have to be a registered user to see some movies, and to save movies as your favorites. they're taking permission from me, which is none of their business to begin with! they have our info - we shouldn't have to log in! I'm contacting google right now, because these scammers shouldn't be on here!

I can tolerate most and even forgive some. But i draw the line when im unable to watch anything. Isn't upgrading kinda like ransoming the viewer.

Your app has been a very pleasant, refreshing experience to say the least! You actually have managed to provide a little bit of everything for anybody. No complaints here... kudos!

First of all I never signed up to pay for anything and they charged me recently and I haven't even looked at this and in I know over a month I don't even have it on my phone anymore. I want my money back and can't even figure out anywhere how to get a refund, you guys are a real disappointment!!!

Just not enough good movie's. All the great ones where being held hostage unless you payed for them. Upgrade to premium. Not worth it

Good except for the app not wanting to load unless you reset the networks.?.?.? And sometimes that doesn't work.

this app has plenty of real good movie titles, and there's so many that you can choose from!

free to register, but you have to pay to access anything good. I'll pass. I'll stick with Tubi.

Really difficult app to use

Great buncha' classic weirdo & obscure movies from all over the World for only $5 a month. It works great on my ROKU TV!

Made the mistake of thinking this only played horror movies. That's why don't like the app it's not for horror movies like I thought.

I love the service and library, but this app does not work on my phone at all.

Weird unheard of movies... app works well though... allot of movies spun off of known movies... soofs... funny... like ha ha...

Paid for premium, and I it says I don't have it. And they won't answer my emails.
