With the Miele@mobile app, you always have all your networked Miele domestic appliances under your control, wherever you are in the world, thanks to the display of the programme state, the operating time left, and general operational information. Simple appliance start and stop functions are also available. On appliances with MobileControl, complete programme selection is possible. Some models feature additional functions such as the option of reordering supplies using just a few clicks or displaying information about the selected appliance – such as a list of suitable frying levels on TempControl hobs.
For example, the app can inform you how long the roast in your oven still needs to cook or when the washing in your washing machine is ready to be removed. In addition, you can receive notifications if any action is required on your part, such as closing a freezer door that's been left open.

When you start up the app for the first time, you will need to log in with your Miele user account and establish connections to your Miele appliances.

This also applies to users who have already installed an older version of the Miele@mobile app. To do this, the Miele appliances or the Miele@home gateway need to be connected to the app; you only need to do this once. You must use your home WLAN for this, but you will then be able to use remote access. Owners of a Miele@home gateway may need to update it in order to use the app. The app will automatically notify you of this if necessary.

The new version of the Miele@mobile app now also enables direct access to Miele appliances with integrated WLAN communication. Additionally, some models notify users when supplies are running low and offer a direct ordering option.

With the new, even clearer hob display, you can see the status of your hob immediately. The intuitive display of the automatic switch-off feature for cooking zones and the new timer for individual cooking zones, which can be managed in the app, help you to achieve perfect frying results.

Important usage information

The fundamental requirements for the use of this app are network-enabled Miele domestic appliances. Depending on the appliance type, you may need to purchase additional communication components – please contact your Miele partner for more information. The demonstration mode provides a first impression of the range of possibilities for this app even without an appliance connected.

Type KMXXXX-1 hobs are not supported.

Easily one of the worst apps I have ever used. So slow and unresponsive. When you click an option, it takes seconds to register the action. I know someone who has just uninstalled the app as its user experience is totally rubbish. When you select a programme, why not grey out the washing options that aren't available with that programme? Because I'm not sure if the action isn't available or is taking long as usual. Why can I select washing temperature one day and can't do it the next day?

Hopelessly slow, and useless. It used to be fine, but now not worth the trouble. Just reinstated in case the app had improved - still a waste of time. The app allows me to set the twindos2 level, but not twindos1. I would like to use the app, but only when it works. Now the machine has removed the opportunity to select whites or coloured when selecting a program. Is this intentional?

It's been months now that a faster more efficient app has been promised by the developer and the current version is still as slow and clumsy as ever. Needed to add my Miele dryer to the app again because it's connection was gone (not related to my in-house infrastructure as the washer still was ok). It took almost 30 minutes including many server errors and "please try agains". For such expensive hardware, the accompanying app is a disgrace! Don't tell me to contact support. Just fix the thing!

The current version of the app still has many flaws. The main ones that remain are; 1. You still can't use the washing assistant feature on the app 2. Quite amazingly, the app still says that my washing machine does not have any supportable consumables; despite being a Twin dos machine that supports cap dosing. I still cannot reorder the correct consumables (or any consumables for that matter) when I click on the stock tab. 3. The machine status tab does not work properly. Why so long to fix

Prob the worst app that is still installed on my phone. A case study for what to avoid when building an app: poor navigation, slow, keeps crashing, limited functionality, poor notification process (duplicates, delays, missing ..), no updates for months... For the price that the appliances cost, I'd have expected better. This is shameful.

The app is sooo slow. So slow! I can't believe that a big company such as Miele cannot invest in this app to sort this issue already. People have been complaining about it for ages. I keep using the app only because it has some settings that are not available directly on the washing machine.

Doesn't work options temp etc. need the back button to set time setting seems completely random as does the machine starting when you think you have everything correct!!!! Not what I expected from Miele.

Literally worse than useless. It does nothing useful, and if there were no app I wouldn't have wasted time on it. Reports Twindos not configured and fails to show Twindos levels, however, all the setup has been completed and the washing machine operates perfectly well using Twindos. Notifications are pointless and provide no meaningful information.

SAME AS ADAMs problem. Cannot add appliance to user account. Gives error 3.7.17. Have tried with multiple Android and iOS devices. Yes it connects to it and the machine says that it is setup and it's connected. However, the app never gets past step 3.7.17 Error Code "Cannot Add Appliance to User Account" It's an error with your service, not the appliance or my device. It's been like a year and still no fix for it... wake up pls

Full of bugs, hardly ever works, possibly the most useless app I've ever attempted to use.. So congratulations on that! Surely with this many 1* reviews, you would think some serious action would be taken? What's the hold up? Fix the app!

As a heavy user of the Google Home ecosystem, I'm disappointed that this app lacks any integration with Google. That aside, the app is not too bad if a little slow. I'd give it an extra star if it had Google connectivity - it already has Alexa so I'm not sure what the lengthy delay is for.

Seems to be poor programming. Some appliances cannot be connected, even though I did everything right. Finding things in the app is difficult. Tends to have more promotion than information. The previous version was much, much better.

Finally worked out how to use the app, but I wanted to install my dryer up high where I could reach the door but not the control panel. Now I find out I have to reset the controls, even press start on the actual machine controls, anyway!! So that was a waste🙃

Don't get me wrong, appliances are the best in the world, but this app is plagued by constant problems, usually being unable to connect to the appliance when it matters most, or so slow that things time out. "We are experiencing technical difficulties". Again, or still? Seems to be a permanent state of affairs.

Connecting a washing machine to wifi with this app doesn't work (Samsung Note 10+). It can't display available wifi networks and sometimes crashes whilst trying to do so. So you must use WPS setup. Once that pain is overcome, app seems usuable - though why you need a wifi connected washing machine, I really don't know. I hope Miele spend a lot of money on the security side because of anyone else can control my washing machine via the Internet, I will be...less than impressed, let's say.

A failure of service on a grand scale - for a premium brand it is unforgivable. I will not bother to restate all that it wrong with this app, it is plain to see in all the negative reviews here. And no, thank you Miele, I have wish to contact you or be contacted by you.... We've been through all of that before. If I could give ZERO points for this app, I would. As it is, 1 is too high a rating! (NOTE: Washing machine and other appliances are fine, just this app is a total failure!)

Appliances connect to network acording to panel on appliances, ( correct said and IP addresses) but app cannot find any appliances... Numerical error code provided zero help as to how to proceed... Spending long wait for customer support is not a solution. Expect far more considering the price of these appliances!

Doesn't work. If you buy Miele, you expect the best. This hasn't worked from day one. You add the device, it looks good - then ping, it's gone. Not being able to find a developer anywhere on the world, capable of developing an android app, isn't the hardest thing ever. So I don't believe the app problem, I think it's hardware and they don't want to admit it. Shocking and unacceptable. Go outsource on the open market for a few good Devs ops.

Does not work for me. Unable to change dishwasher program, select options or start time. All I can so is start on eco setting at the time i am on the app. So for me not worth paying extra for this feature.

Fill levels are visible again, possible to adjust fill levels, as well. Now what's left is to make notifications work for more than just for 30 minutes after exiting the app.

Mostly doesn't work, still cannot get it to work after 5 months. Miele helpline wouldn't help. Even password reset failed 4 times, with their reset password. App badly architected, incredibly slow, WPS won't work. Cannot read the iDOS detergent levels. If you are looking for high tech kitchen, do not buy Miele.

The machine was expensive, it's a pity the money doesn't go to good app development. The app is very slow and clunky, you often don't know if you've tapped a button properly or the app is just slow, very frustrating. It took so long to set up a wash cycle and then the "start" button disappeared, I had to start over. Just use the touch panel on the machine don't bother with the app. I'll download again in a year and see if it's fixed.

Slow, the button to start the washer is missing (remote control is activated), hard to connect (3 hours over 2 days, with fault codes of no apparent meaning, and no way to look up). In total it seems it is little more than a fancy clock. A nice feature you miss, is an estimate of the weight of the clothes to check if I overloaded the machine for some of the specialised programs
