Mighty Amp

App was great. Used if for almost a year. Now I get a firmware update message when I open it and nothing works. No idea how to update the firmware though. No instructions. Downloaded an APK from the website that failed. Now I just have a personal amp that doesnt work. Couldnt just leave well enough alone?

I wish I would have read the last review before I bought the amp. We all have to have a battery powered amp. ( I GOT THE MIGHTY 8 BT), AND I THOUGHT THE LAST MODEL WAS GOOD SO I BOUGHT THIS ONE WITHOUT TRYIN IT OUT AND WHEN I GOT IT HOME. ( ITS STILL A DECENT AMP) BUT NO BASS?

I had been using the prior version and was quite happy with it. When I downloaded the latest version it became very difficult if not impossible to connect to the device. After fooling with for weeks I deleted the new version and download the original from the nux website and I am back in business. They need to debug this new version. Hope this saves you some time.

Why does a Bluetooth amp need GPS to work? Where is the Bass Option? I'm done uninstalled permanently I'm selling this POS amp, my device info is none of your damn business

What happened guys?? I opened my app to jam and all of the sudden EVERYTHING is different, NOTHING is saved, and bass guitar is no longer an option?? Very confused right now, and definitely not jamming!!! Before this, was PERFECT!!!! App is super easy to use, but STOP changing and screwing us up. 5 star review was taken down to three because of this. UPDATE!!! ONE star now because you dont care enough to respond. Do NOT purchase this if you're a bass player, or think you might need help

Does not work with Tablets. Don't get me wrong. A great little app which makes it easy to control the amp. However, I got a Samsung tablet to use with the app as I hate getting notification or calls on my phone when rocking out. At first the app did work and connect when using the tablet. But now, if using the app on the tablet, it will not detect the amp or connect to it. The tablet will just connect for audio but not to actually control the amp. Also, if I try to connect the tablet to the device "Nux mighty lite midi" I get the message "An app is needed to use this device". Pretty disappointing. If anyone has had the same issue and has managed to resolve it then any help would be appreciated.

Not well tested.. app seems like an afterthought. How you can release an app that doesn't work with a Samsung cellular device is beyond my comprehension. Impossible to get a simultaneous connection with the app and plug. On the bright side, I was able to get a good BLE connection with my walkman allowing me to play along with the music. However, mixing is a challenge. Some preset bass amps and tuner would be nice. Overall I can still use it as I described, but this app needs a serious makeover.

Latest firmware added features but still didn't address key issues. You can now share patches with a QR code, but you still cannot simply save to a library for quick recall. Seven presets now and you can flavor them to your preference, but now we need an 'AB' highlight feature to simply toggle between two or three. I really like the Mighty Amp...with a few more tweeks it could be awesome. A tuner feature on the app would be nice too.

The only fault is that the screen times out, you need to keep screen on during use. Update the eco switch allows you to keep the screen on so turn eco off. Update 2, I updated the app and it was completely changed, updated the firmware on mighty plug and wow it is everything I was hoping, you can now have the same amp on several patches with different settings, this device is awesome and is easier to carry around than my big modelling amps. Thanks developers.

Just got the might plug, and the app connected instantly on first use works flawlessly. The ability to save the 4 tones to the device is great, but needs the option to save additiinal tones to the app for later use. For example, I've come up with at least 10 or so nice tones just with the twin verb amp on the clean channel, but as far as I can tell I can only save one tone at once on each channel. Surely it would be straight forward to include an option to save addtional tones within the app.

Great app for a great product; perfect for both guitar and bass. Having tried many other headphone amps, I never came across anything that sounded this good and having so many options. There's effects, amp/cab simulation, play along with any Bluetooth audio source and drum beats. Only thing really missing is a built in tuner; would rate 5 stars if this is added.

I've found the same issue as someone else, it doesn't work on Samsung devices - mine is a phone rather than tablet and it can't find the Mighty Plug. I can connect for audio but not to the plug itself, so I can't actually manage amp settings or change them. As that was a key feature of the device, I'm extremely disappointed.

Wonder why the Mighty Air is not listed as using this, when it's in the actual app. The selection between Bass and guitar models is gone, making this not user friendly at all for beginners who don't know the various amp and cab names, especially for bass. The app more than the NuX Mighty Air itself, will be what causes me to return the amp (though one has to immediately firmware update the amp).

I downloaded this app to try to control the NUX Mighty Air amp. Much like many of the other reviewers, I can get a BlueTooth audio connection to play music through the amp, but the app can't find the amp to control it. Unfortunately, NUX doesn't appear to have any support, so I guess the app is getting deleted and the amp is going back to Amazon.

Works great after Firmware Update! At first the amp did nothing, it wouldnt really truly even recognize the Mighty Lite BT. So I plugged in a USB to my computer, followed the firmware update info, which was super easy and quick and was up and running with the amp in little time at all. Would give 5 stars if the app could sync and then push the firmware.

Great small practice amp. App interface needs lots of work. AMP types have no descriptions/photos. Should have a left right arrow to quickly go between in addition to the drop down menu. Needs a "jam" interface with larger icons to quickly/easily switch between presets. Firmware update wipes all preset data, no phone backup. Preset library will be a great addition. No need for GPS permissions

What the hell has happened to the rock mode of the bass effects.. it was distorted by default and now it's clean with no option for distortion.. Plus, 4 in built presets is fine. But you guys could have easily allowed to save a dozen presets in the app.. at least one can trigger them through the app. the option to only save four settings is unreasonable.

Was looking forward to this. I updated the firmware but I could not play afterwards as the sound kept coming and going. I reversed back to the previous firmware on the Mighty plug but I could not go back to the previous version of the app on my phone. Luckily I had a tablet which I won't update the app on it. All is back to normal now but disappointed with the new upgrade. Hope for a better future version meanwhile I stay put. Thanks

Messing with this app yields superior results with the NuX Air amp (which is a beast). I never practice with an amp, I'm a live player mostly and setting up my gear to practice is an ordeal. This app coupled with the amp have got me practicing with more realistic vibe. My own ignorance made me initially wonder about connection 'problems', but it turned out to be operator error. The app works well, and allows you to dial in deeper and save settings. Looking forward to more in the future!

For the money excellent value for on the fly minimal set up practice using the Mighty Plug 2 One area where definitely room for improvement would be the ability to save more than just 4 preset tones to the mobile app. Add this functionality and would real competition for devices like the Fender Micro Mustang. An inbuilt tuner would also be handy. If the developers read this could they comment if these functionalities could be added simply by a software upgrade?

Could have been good if it had master volume or mp3 player!!!

Have a Mighty 20BT bought a year back. Use to work fine but after the latest update, not sure if it's the firmware or the app updates, I can't seem to control the settings anymore. Every time I change it shows "NaN." Tried 2 phones & tab, still can't control. Even reset all my settings and also re-install my apps, still no good. Hope they fix this soon.

if I could get this app to control the drum section, I would be happy, but it will not start or stop the drums. However everything else works, what gives? Figured it out. this app needs to be paired with both Mighty Lite BT and also Mighty Lite Midi. I did previously upgrade my Nux's firmware, but still had issues until binding both items. Well, I still have a problem after shutting down app and amp, a restart, drums can't be controlled via app, not good! Please, need help, this is android...
