Mighty Audio

The Mighty mobile app works with the Mighty player, which can be purchased at www.bemighty.com. Once you have a Mighty in hand, download the mobile app and you’re ready to take your Spotify playlists on-the-go: no screen, phone, or data connection required.

Here’s how it works:

1. Turn On
Power up your Mighty and download the Mighty mobile app.

2. Tune In
Launch the Mighty mobile app and follow the setup instructions. Then, wirelessly sync some of your favorite Spotify playlists to your Mighty.

3. Drop Out
Once the sync is complete, leave the phone and distractions behind and take your music with you anywhere.

Frustration! This is a hit or miss. Not intuitive. Took me more than an hour to get the initial settings, and then each time I go to run, it sometimes connect to the earbuds immedietly, but on other times it takes ages. It might even need to reset or re-pair the Bluetooth earbuds. I bought it to avoid an expensive upgrade to my watch, now I regret it.

Terrible product and app. Bought this for my son so he could listen to his favorite music. One day it stopped syncing with the app and even after following all the instructiona still won't work. I've poured hours retrying again and again reading through the instructions etc. I'm at my wits end and can't believe how much time it's wasted.

I had no problems with this idk why people are freaking out. The app works great the connection takes a second but it is to be expected cause you are using a phone to connect 2 other devices together, technology isn't as far as people think it is. After the first initial charge setup including syncing my 2000 song playlist took just over 5 minutes. Really love the product you guys are doing great! Would love to see a Mighty 2.0 with a screen maybe! This is a newer company guys take a chill pill

A most infuriating app. Very basic, rarely does what it's supposed to. Constantly connects and disconnects. God help you if you want to connect a new pair of ear buds.

Nice concept but AWFUL connectivity issues, so difficult to pair bluetooth earphones and the device itself....needs an App development overhaul. If I had bought this, would've sent it back!

Yes, the app is a bit clunky and could do with few improvements, but the device is great. Good design, easy to use.

I love the product when it works. It's great for running and not having to carry a phone around. Switches between songs/playlists great. However, the app is such trash. There's always an issue updating/syncing/connecting. I literally have to leave myself a few minutes before my runs to get this set up. This should be so easy to grab and go if you're not changing anything. Hopefully there's an update, because the problems seem to be with the software/app. But until then, i can't recommend this.

It's OK. It's the only thing I've found to replace the ipod shuffle and allows listening to music without being online (helpful for hiking in the mountains). Connecting to spotify is iffy even when I'm on wifi. Battery life seems to be about 4-5 hours (not as good as advertised). I updated my playlists and it adds the music but doesn't update the sort, which is annoying but not a deal breaker. I would like to see it work with YouTube Music.

It's not bad, when I can get it to work. It seems that even after I synced the playlists I wanted to it I still have to connect to my phone first before it will play anything. The battery life is only around 4 hours, which is terrible!!! And trying to connect wireless headphones was just a pain because, yet again, even though I connected it once, I have to use my phone to reconnect them together every time. It's just not what i thought it was going to be :(

The app is okay. I think I remember encountering a couple bugs/slow loading times. The real issue is the actual product the app is meant for. It doesn't sound nearly good enough to justify the price. (Although its Spotify feature is very unique and helpful.) But this isn't a review for the actual product. It's a review for the app. And as for the app goes, it works fine. Mostly.

I did not have any issues, very quick and intuitive app, smooth and easy. Connected to Spotify and loaded my first list of songs - love it! The player itself is awesome too, perfect size, weight and features. I use wired headphones so I can't comment on the wireless ones. Only one thing is needed: Equalizer! Please consider adding equalizer in your next software update. Keep it simple - most of us needed it for running, bicycling and the gym. Thanks!

This has to be one of the worst apps I've ever used. It is so buggy, I don't think I ever spend less than an hour anytime I want to use this stupid thing. I've successfully gone on one run with it working during the last year. It has tons of problems connecting to bluetooth devices, super buggy UI, error message got stuck on my screen even after the app was closed, had to restart my phone to make it go away. Awful awful.

I have loved the mighty so far. No issues and very easy to use. But now all of a sudden nothing works. I cant sync Spotify, I can't connect to wifi, I keep getting an error about chain connection failed for Everything I try to do. I Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now I can't even login. I did a reset on my Phone and a factory reset on the mighty and still nothing. I can't even send an error report in the app and I don't see any customer service or helpdesk anywhere. Please help!

Worked great for a year or more of 10+ hour weeks (even though connecting Bluetooth earbuds each time was a pain). One day, it no longer connected to my headphones so I stopped using it after being unable to fix it. I tried it again today after years of not using it hoping they had fixed the issue, but they haven't. Got good use out of the player, but its going to the recycling center now and I'm deleting this app from my phone.

Awful first impression and experience. I've been trying over an hour to sync playlists to the Mighty and keep getting a connection error. This renders this small plastic--yet very expensive device--completely useless. I've tried with my phone and Chromebook multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, still no dice. This is with strong wireless connection, too. Very frustrating.

I have the 1st Mighty which worked well, though battery life not so great and slow to get going. I used it for my run. But for the last few months it does not play! I have uninstalled/updated app, sync my music, fully charge it, reconnected to spotify etc. I have emailed numerous times Support but they have been useless in resolving. What the hell???!! This Mighty device is too expensive for such horrible performance and poor interaction with the app. Mighty is certainly is not dependable.

I had previously logged into this app and saved my login info. After the most recent update the app has locked me out. I've tried numerous ways to get beyond the login page. The app won't respond so I can't use my vibe. The programmer gave me some baloney about intermittent server issues, and consisidered my issue resolved. This has been going on for several days and nothing has been resolved. I still can't use my device.

Mightys are ok, does what I need it to. Got one for skating at skateparks and jogging. Works well with short playlists but long playlists can be a pain to navigate, Mighty doesn't skip songs fast enough. Also can't go back to the last track on a playlist from the first track. If you have a long playlist you might want to copy the songs into some smaller, temporary playlists to sync. Wish the app would let me choose what song in the playlist Mighty is playing, but the app is pretty basic.

App will not let me log in or connect spotify if it rarely let's me even sign up. Device is useless without these features so good Christmas gift, not. Had to delete and reload the app multiple times to get beyond step 1 but then it glitches and could not even get back to that. Only thing I can think of is maybe too many new users are creating accounts at once, but that shouldn't be an issue. Hope this is fixed promptly or I will be returning the Mighty.

Tom. Y. Apr 30, 2020

Not sure why everyone has so many issues! Seems to work fine for me, connected via wifi and bluetooth and it syncs perfectly, I've a lot of playlists so change regularly and thats easy, it gives you progress etc and lets you know when it's out of space.. It's a great little piece of kit and even syncs with my car! Maybe people aren't reading the instructions 😁

Tor. W. Feb 9, 2021

Some parts of the app are not aware of the screen size and do not allow to scroll down. This makes it impossible to finish the setup on devices with a small screen (even though google play says that the app is compatible!): 1) the "ok/next" button on the welcome page of the setup screen is cut off (only the upper edge is visible) and can barely be clicked and 2) the "ok/next/finish" button after connecting the mighty via bluetooth in the setup is completely cut off and cannot be pressed making it impossible to finish the setup! edit: seems to be only an issue when increasing the system font size to medium/large

I've been using this device on and off for 8 months, each time I use it for a run it causes me so much stress before hand. Usually it takes around 40-50 mins to get the devices to connect and play music. Im a Audio Engineer working in TV Broadcast so I think Im competent enough to follow the simple instructions given. Rubbish device. Sort it out.

Hun. F. Jan 12, 2021

I would rate this negative stars, if it were possible. I bought this device thinking it would be really neat to own. It's a nice, simple concept, yet it's made complicated because the App is pure dookey. I can't even say anything about the actual device, because I can't even connect to the App to set it up. On multiple devices. Just pure, hot, stinky, dookey. Really disappointed, will be returning.

Mik. S. Jan 24, 2020

The app is very buggy and only works 1 time out of 20, if you are lucky. I bought two of these for my kids for Christmas and am returning them. Disappointing experience. I tried contacting support multiple times and they were unable to help. They just had me uninstall and reinstall several times, which did not work. Tried on multiple phones, same issues.

A. G. u. Dec 27, 2018

The podcast support really is poor and the last update made it worse. simple things like deleting episodes is very slow and needs to be done one at a time. They removed the ability to see the episode description. it supposedly will sync overnight, but this is spotty: it never deleted listened episodes and only syncs feeds for which there is an existing episode. It is in keeping with the hardware: some nice stuff but buggy implementation that seems not to understand usage patterns.

Adr. D. Mar 12, 2020

Not a good experience, the device connected to Bluetooth fine, even connected to 2.4GHz WiFi fine, then just fails to do anything remotely useful trying to connect to Amazon music for playlist sync, just spins a blue circle, forever. Support team response was woeful at best. So I am returning the device. Great idea, just not actually implemented to work.

C. M. Jun 22, 2019

I personally think this tiny player is genius. I have fitted over 1200 songs in normal quality on it, in just one playlist. I then turn shuffle on and play them over my Bluetooth speakers.! Ok, there are a few things that need adding to the software spec sheet; It desperately needs Volume Normalization... Would be nice to have the choice to Cross Fade between songs... Some choices of Equalisation would be a good addition to.... And finally, the ability to sync even more songs to the device... Either way, no complaints from me, I think it's brilliant solution to the portable 'no phone' spotify.

Adi. M. Jan 2, 2021

Battery life is appalling (needs recharged after 30mins), continually fails to connect to Spotify - log in failed, you exceeded the number of devices bla bla bla. Should be a simple app doing a useful thing. Just rubbish. Update: Got V2 - other half read reviews saying this iteration has addressed irritations users had from v1. Nope. Still the app is absolutely terrible. Hard to find documentation on what will and won't sync if you're trying to listen to podcasts. Temperamental physical device

Jor. z. Jun 11, 2020

Connecting to bluetooth devices are a pain, the connection will just keep breaking randomly. Detecting the device also takes so long, I could see my earpieces on my phone's bluetooth 30 seconds before the mighty picks it up. The earpieces went to sleep when it finally detected was how long it took. The UI is horrendous as well, why can you only access the menus when on the middle tab.

Dan. F. Jul 9, 2021

App has become almost unusable. I'm constantly having to reinstall or clear data and start fresh. Can't upload new content, just spins on loading screen. Or, I've had issues with no option to add a podcast ("+" symbol is missing). Again, having to clear data. I love the player but this app needs a lot of help. Pixel 2, Android 11.
