Miiskin - Melanoma Skin Cancer

Spent a lot of time trying to get the trial for the premium version and still couldn't. My bank has been verified, my card has been verified in the app without charging, my google, still can't get rid of that screen to go further. I just ended up adding a card again and again. Now I don't know if I remained subscribed and will be charged next month.

Just using a trial for now and I'm pretty pleased with it, definitely going to be useful. The only thing I would add is to make the wider body areas more specific or allow someone to make their own categories - for example instead of the whole front torso, allow me to do chest, stomach, upper arm, lower arm etc.

Easy to use and the reminders are such a help.

Requires registering an account. It is for protecting your data in case you need to access it from other phone, but that is a premium feature, so that justification is not valid for free users, where you don't need that if the data would be stored offline . Also, they don't just store your data, they can use it for marketing and share it with partners. I'm rating 1 star for the free version. I understand that you can't offer all for free, but that is what I'm ranking, what you do offer for free

Not the greatest for photos. It's an ok organizing system for marking a set of skin spots you want to remember to follow. But photo quality in-app is not as good as just simply taking your own photos. Plus they made it harder and more gimmicky to take a photo so you have to get someone's help taking photos especially for anything on your back.

App is decent, however, you are required to subscribe to a free subscription with a credit card. If you want to cancel said subscription, you must contact support. I prefer self help cancellation. So lose one star. They did cancel my subscription promtly. Lose second star for forced subscription and saved photos only for paid subscription to app. Needs work, but I like the concept. Should have free version with ads and paid no ads.

I can't sign up or log in either. They still deduct $$ out of my balance. Not cool. Please fix it ASAP.

Great app! Useful for patients. However I would please request and easy way to send the images to your doctor for evaluation! A share function would improve the app. Also I find that it seems really easy to accidentally deleted your photos! Which is dangerous for a population that may be less technologically literate.

It's rubbish. They literally want you to pay for a photo gallery. It doesnt check moles for you, it just stores photographs in a gallery for you to check them yourself, which I can do for free using my camera.

Working better now, there had been some issues with not being able to upload pictures, fixed now.

I have tried almost all of the dermatology apps. This app exceeds expectations in a major area..... the camera/pictures!! Other apps cant quite get the crystal clear images like Miiskin. My dermatologist now actually recommends this app to other clients since it has worked so well for me. You can quickly update your moles with side by side comparison. It has reminders to let you know its time to update a photo. Its very helpful for those who have several moles. I highly recommend!

Uninstalled. I can take pictures and "compare on the web" for free, tyvm. Everything this app charges for can be done easily with your Smartphone at NO COST, from pictures, to reminders, and everything in between. Not worth it.

it is disaster , I try to cancel my subscription but there is no option for canceling. I have sent two emails to support to guide me they have not answered yet, they will going to charge me for 25 $ on 16 th July by force, please cancel my subscription. I will continue to send Email.

I would not recommend this app - that is unless you want to be fleeced after installing it! CANSA should be absolutely ashamed of their marketing on this app, which is marketed as a free app. Truth is when you want to use it to compare photos of possible melanoma, surprise, surprise, you can only do so by buying the product. While I understand CANSA's need to raise funds, this is not the way to go about it.

Love this app! Easy to use and great for keeping a record of my many freckles and moles. You can easily compare photos over time to check for changes. The info about how to look for changes in your moles is really clear. I was treated for Malignant Melanoma before I got this app . Miiskin gives me great peace of mind, helping me to be vigilant in checking my skin regularly for changes. I really rely on it. Would recommend!

Lovely, I can take pictures of my lesion and compare them just fine without this app, if you want any other features you're gonna have to pay. Just do ads so a useful health app can actually be utilized. Far too expensive.

Searched free skin check apps, the above appeard. Read the very fine print when downloading this free app as it is not free as I found out when it appeared on my bill. Applied for a refund, predictably it was denied. Very disappointed, my advise is save your money, just get a skin check at your local Dr every 6 months in Aus.

Had my phone reset and I can no longer use the basic version, have to pay. Plus I can't find the alleged exported photos other than being told they are on my phone's "hard drive" .

Very helpful way to check and compare moles, keeping a record over time. Having had a melanoma diagnosis and treatment in 2013, I have been discharged from my five year follow up clinic. This app was highlighted at the UK 2018 Melanoma Patient Conference and provides the necessary reminders for regular skin checks and gives reassurance that you are doing all you can to stay vigilant, especially when no longer having hospital checks. It is very well designed and easy to use.

This app requires an inordinate amount of personal information just to start. Then it doesn't do anything. It might be used for phishing. Other reviews also indicate the developer will keep your health data without letting you access it unless you pay, which is extortion.

God app, makes you take care of yourself more and pay attention to little things and changes. Too bad you cannot share images. Re. Developer's response below: 1. This is not 1993 and email sharing is not most convenient. 2. Sharing images is not an indication to skip a doctor. You are trying to cover product limitation with false concerns but is actually sounds patronising.

Excellent and easy to use. Great camera.
