Military GPS
To receive GPS signals correctly, the phone must have a clear view of the sky.
These are the main features:
- Displays latitude, longitude and altitude using the mobile phone GPS sensor
- Geographic coordinates are expressed in decimal degrees
- Uses the WGS84 datum, the same used in GPS devices and Google Maps
- Displays the current heading based on the Earth's magnetic field. It can be used as a compass (0º=North, 90º=East, 180º=South, 270º=West)
- Can store a list of waypoints and display the bearing and distance from your present position to the target position
- Can send the target position to Google Maps, allowing sharing with other applications. This option requires internet access
- Uses little battery
- Always will be 100% free

Useless without the ability to change to MGRS.
Very good But The Heading Button is not working
Doesn't do military gps. Nothing but lat long no mgrs. How is this listed so high on search results?
It's useful app.
This app is awesome, I can load up all the GPS positions that my boss gives me and drive/straight to the points. Compared to the garmin it was spot on, and working in this middle east belt has become a very important tool.

If this product had MGRS it would be perfect. I love the ability to overlay with goggle maps but longitude and latitude is useless for ground troops
Very much better than app
As with any app, it depends on the accuracy of the base hardware. Suggestion: Turn on GPS and let it settle down for a few minutes before believing the readings. My question is: why is everything in metric, shouldn't there be a choice between metric and imperial ? Garman and Magellan in the U.S. is decimal degrees and ft., and miles. Degrees, minutes, seconds doesn't translate well for U.S. GPS units. I compared this app to my Garman and it's pretty close as far as Lat. and Long. but accuracy is in metric.

Completely lacks any military aspect as this app does not utilize the correct datum or coordinate format that military maps and navigation use.

A self described Military GPS app should have the ability to be set to show MGRS not just Lat/Long
