MillerWeld Setting Calculator

I am a big fan of Miller's welding products and I was expecting a lot more from this app. However it is very disappointing. once you get to the final screen the text is so small it's almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass. the app is also unstable, if you click on the Miller icon, the icon darkens but nothing appears to happen other than the app locks up and you are unable to do anything other than close it. this is definitely not ready for primetime.

What a pity, you can't increase text size, so almost impossible to read, and some of the text is so small it's completely unreadable! Otherwise from what I can "see" it looks very helpful.

Pretty much garbage! If you know nothing about welding this might help you. There are not near enough variables you can input to really help. It tells you the optimum setting it dose not help you find setting for what you have on hand, you will need deep pockets to have all the diffrent filler rods/wires and gasses. At work we use metal core and gas that is not included in this app at all and this app never tells you what pulse setting to use with tig. Keep in mind these setting are not exact.

great app! NOT FOR BEGINNERS who have no basic understanding of welding. app really helps to guide you toured a comfortable setting. again anyone who has welded for years will love this little helpful guide especially if you fluexuat between metal thickness and types. only downfall is in specialty gases.

It has been good so far but today it stopped asking for the thickness of my material and gave me one of the worst amperage ranges it possibly could (highest conventionally suggested for weld plus 70 amp). I tried to update the app to see if that was the problem (probably not) but google play doesn't allow you to check for update as far as I can tell.

so far it seems good. However some i needed information that isn't here tig setting for things like Gold, Silver, and other such metals i know TIG can do such but knowing the right settings is important for such metals mistakes are costly eith theses metals so having the calculations on the app would be helpful

The letters are extremely small to read. I have a Galaxy S20 and the wire speed is too small to read or distinguish the letters. It would have been a good app, but due to this issue, I have no use for it. Deleting...

Just downloaded, plugged in MIG 1/8" steel, and it gave me the settings for .035" wire. Umm, I have .030 in my machine, pretty sure that's fine, but nope, can't change it. Useless app.

great app. might be an idea to be able to switch over to metric in a settings option as all our gear in australia runs metres per minute and litres per hour.

So far, from what i have seen of this app, it is a good one for setting up machines with the right wire speeds and amperage settings.

Nowhere near enough input available, should be able to set exact thickness of base metal. cant choose wire size or wire mixture. just another one of Miller's many shortcomings

Main menu has no metric. Some descriptions are cut off mid sentence. Layout is lazy and poorly thought out. Itst amateurish.

Easy to use but fonts are too small for my eyes, needs a settings screen where we could choose font size

Great app to get you close to the settings you need, only thing missing is a preheat calculator. Add that and I'll give 5⭐.

What a pity... there is no words for waisted time. How can such a famous and old welding related companies application so poor and hopless... no any calculator found. We were need to calculate the Electrodes Filler wire consumption per unit joints of pipes...

Some of the information text are cut off, e.g, the details of DCEP, DCEN, AC.

Good but needs a metic version for the rest of the world, this only caters for Americans. Who think the world is America.

awesome app to have welding knowledge and it is a technology. thanks for people who developed this, im more Happy now no need to have a welding book all information i have in my pocket hurrahh Awesome

3 years since an update. Miller does not care. What size font is the output? 2 point?

Will not reset and goes unresponsive. Horrible!

This is the old app. The new app is easier to read but otherwise the same.

Pretty useless app, it's beyond me how a serious welding company can put so little effort in this at this age.

Easy to use needs some updates.
