MilSpaceA app allows authorized U.S. government users to register for Department of Defense (DoD) military space-available travel. It is the exclusive app for all DoD travelers wanting a quick, easy, reliable, and authorized means to sign up for Space-A at primary departure terminals.

First, browse through "Airfields of Interest" so you can call ahead to various terminals (call-enabled; just tap the number). Or visit terminals’ flight schedule pages (if they have them--most don't) Then fill in your details, select departure airfields & destination countries & send out the signup to register for travel. Some terminals will reply; most will not. Just keep a copy of e-mail(s) as proof of signup

Policies governing space-a travel are implemented in DoD Directive 4515.13-R (Air Transportation Eligibility) and AMCI 24-101 Vol 14. Determine your eligibility before registering for travel. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL TERMINAL if you have any questions of eligibility. Refer to http://www.amc.af.mil/amctravel for current official AMC policy. Utilize and support pepperd.com, spacea.net & takeahop.org for unofficial discussions, info, and desktop-based space-a signup.
Only after military mission requirements are met will remaining seats be offered up for space-a. Be prepared for delays or short-notice diversions. Space-A is a privilege, not a right--movement is never guaranteed. UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF SPACE-A before signing up.

Invaluable aid for space A travelers. Easy way to send out emails to all bases when registration for travel. Quick info on key things such as local lodging, transportation, flight updates. Current update now working on pixel "Android". Use it more than any other resource and Rob G. Is quick to respond to any issues.
Has great potential. I have waited so long to download the android version. But it crashes every single time I attempt to browse the references section. Refunding until it is fixed.
Very buggy. After filling in all my personal information, but before choosing departure airfield the app keeps stopping. Very disappointing after paying for an app. Save your money!
Several have said it and the developers responded... The settings don't important automatically, you have to manually enter them. Once you do that, the app works great!
Keeps stopping when going from first page of sign up to choosing departure airfields. Keeps erasing birthday when it goes back to first page when you can't go to second page to choose airfield departure. Simple code problems need fixing.
Ok so I changed the permission settings and did get further than I had previously but it never got to a point where I could submit the request. I purchased the app years ago when I had a Samsung phone. I have an iPhone now and it wants me to purchase the app again before downloading to this phone. I'm not going to purchase again. When I purchased a new Samsung tablet the apps synched and I thought I could use it now but it is not working. Please help.
The app works wonderfully and, while it is "expensive," it is a one time purchase, no adds, and it lasts a lifetime of Space-A flying!
Crashed as soon as I selected an airfield. Restarted and ran into the same issue. Enabled the permissions per the developer's comments on other reviews and still am seeing the same problem.
Stopped working on Android 9. Apparently it has been a problem since August 2018. Hope to see it rectified soon. BUYER BEWARE. UPDATE: As of March 17th 2019. this problem still presists... no change for me.
The tech support is fantastic! Being a tech challenged senior, i was very impresded how quickly tech support returned my email and walked me thru to get me up and running. THANK YOU!
will NOT upgrade unless I know "bug fixes." GoOGle updated their version--there goes privacy -- uninstalling. .."...most recent version of Android..." is all about losing privacy.
I recently bought this app. It does not load, it immediately crashes. So, I paid for something that doesn't work!
once I got it to stop crashing seems to be a good app, I'll reserve judgement until I try to catch a flight.
updating my reviews a developer has been very responsive it appears to be a problem with the App Store not pushing updates and he's working on it
it is NOT user friendly and unless the app is not working...it does not inform me... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.... I WILL CONTINUE TO SEND EMAILS. DISAPPOINTED

Updating review Moved from 1 star to 4 stars because the developer responded to the issue and told of a work around. I shouldn't have to manually fix it but this worked so it gets a better rating. Apple users would probably rate it 5 stars.. while android the best I can give is 4. It functions. I do not think it is worth 6.99. It just prefills out your email.
