Disappointed in recent changes to the app. Like that it enables me to read online exactly as if I had actual newspaper in-hand, (e.g.page by page) but e-article replication of paper version is often poor. Headlines &/or subheads run into copy/not in bold. Continuation of articles that run on 2nd page sometimes appear before beginning of article. Inability to copy bits of article text to share outstanding articles on social media. I expected much better but not seeing it.

It does not download. It was fine for a few months. I cancelled my paper subscription because that wasn't always delivered. I went for the eEdition at $10 a month. Now I can't read the eEdition plus it's now costing me $28 a month. REALLY. Where do you go to even find help ??!!

So disappointed in this app. Was working fine until they did the update late June 2019...now doesn't work at all on my tablet. 😣 Have read others having the same issues. None of the possible "fixes" recommended by js online assist have helped. Just switched from home delivery to digital as I couldn't justify the amount they charge for home delivery plus raising the price every year (& not just a dollar here or there) & getting less paper. My wife has no trouble with it on her tablet...so far.

works well most of the time -- many options for how the news stories are organized and presented. But it doesn't work anymore and has not for the past week despite uninstalling and reinstalling many.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal app is always dependable and never crashes. Now let's talk about the news itself... I'm not someone who blindly trusts journalists. Unfortunately too many have their own agenda these days. This is true for both the left and right leaning. I've noticed at times this newspaper will lean a bit to the left but I've never once noticed an agenda. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal has only delivered truthful news without any gossip. They have my complete trust.

Some improvements but still not a stable app. Jumps from section to section, resize only available in page view, revised app broke old one without notification to users. Less satisfying reading experience. Cuts off right panel of comics.

I love the concept; the paper layout allows you to see important articles that may not fit your interest algorithms. Unfortunately, this app crashes as soon as you try to read a full article. Uninstalled.

Since the last update I can't get the paper electronically on my android tablet. I am paying for this and am not getting what I am paying for. I would suggest people considering getting the android version should wait until they read that the issue has been fixed before paying for an electronic version of the paper.

Update: They finally got it right! Just installed on my new tablet and it keeps crashing. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. A month latter the app is still not stable. 1/1/21 Updated app 3 days ago. It worked for 1 day. Now an article disappears in the right column as one is reading it. So disappointed you can't get this right.

MJS is a very good local/national news source. Early in 2021 usability changes were made to their previously horrible online subscription site. Still not perfect but MUCH better. Changes came just in time as it saved me from cancelling.

I love reading my hometown paper from all over when traveling. There are many glitches in the app, but put up with just to read the paper. We've subscribed for over 40 years.

I love reading on line, no more guilt seeing all those papers used ! I wish I had done this years ago !!!! I really enjoy reading the entire paper, anywhere I want !! I also read more articles now than before !!! Children enjoy reading the Milwaukee Journal on line, too !!

MJS print edition app is ideal. It enables you to view & read the paper exactly as if you were holding it in your hands. It is by far the best newspaper app I've seen. NYT, you should pay attention here & do likewise!

great app for getting an exact replica of the paper, if it works for you. but it no longer works on my older tablet. yes, I followed all the help desk suggestions.

Individual stories sometimes have glitches where they don't always automatically continue on to the next page. This can be the entire paper one day or just a story on another.

I like to see the full print version, including ads and coupons. Also have come to value the bonus content, USA Today and Packer Plus.

Huge Improvement. Makes the electronic edition easy to read and an exact duplicate of print edition. Easy to use. Highly recommend.

I love this app and love reading the paper on my phone. It allows me to still feel connected to my community with a trustworthy news source, keep up with the awesome investigative reporting and even check out the coupons.

We pay for the daily delivery of the paper but recently it comes 2 to 3 hrs late or not at all. Whas up with the poor service.

The content is interesting enough and I do the viewing experience... The ability to zoom in and the ability to go from page to page.

This App is loaded with ads, even as a subcriber, and the E-edition of the newspaper has it own ads. The Now sections do not download.

Today the app won't open at all. Terrible app, and no technical support available. Last time I called about it and spoke with someone in The Philippines who said somebody was working on the problem. I don't think so.

Reading online is much more convenient than reading an actual newspaper. Needless to say, it also significantly reduces recycling.

I prefer reading the print version, but when traveling this app is easy to use and keeps me informed with local news events.

since the "update " I have been unable to view the paper. I even cancelled the account and created a new one after a month. It won't work as advertised. unfortunate as they have a monopoly

It's pretty good, easy to navigate to the different sections, easy to set a font size that works for me.

Great app BUT!! The JS sports reporters need to work past 9pm! As a big sports fan I it really bothers me that scores and articles get published a day later!!! At least cover things that end before 11pm!
