I love the app and need it greatly in my life right now. I wish there were more things available in the free version so that I could use more of the app for the things I have going on in my life right now. I wish i was able to subscribe right now. I have tried 50 apps that have similar goals and they didnt give me even half the peace that Mindshine just did. If you do any scholarship subscriptions for stressed out single mamas, you can find one who currently can't afford one, right here! Haha
I really love the exercises on the app. However, I think it needs some bug fixes. I've only had it since yesterday and it's frozen THREE times in the middle of me typing an exercise. It's frustrating because I put in less effort when I have to do the exercise over again. If they can fix the freezing issues, I'd give it 5 stars.
This is such a sweet app. Diverse range of activities even in the free version that give a mood boost but also a lot to think about moving forward. I also must say, the narrator of the app has a very kind, comforting voice and it feels like talking to a friend as cringey as that might sound.
Loving this. Way better than other apps that just have u read and journal. This one helps me focus and has made my journaling feel like less of a brutal task and more of something I enjoy. I look forward to open this app every morning.
It is proving to be a really useful tool for me personally. I have a terrible tendency to look at the glass as half empty but it has been genuinely wonderful to see things from the other side. I suffer terribly with stress and anxiety but the app has given me some brilliant coping strategies. I like that the voice is calm, but not condescending too.
Loving this app. My fave thing is the 1 to 2 minute actions that I can always fit in. English accents are lovely to hear too!
Exceptional app. I am very nervous about the cost of these apps because when I have found one that works well for me I get the request for the monthly subscription fees to unlock additional content. So there hasn't been a huge push in that direction which has given me the ability to relax and give this app a try. This app gives me all of the things I want as part of my daily practice in one place. I recently began my pro trial and it's been rewarding.
Thank you for your dedication. The app is constantly improving, and the support is remarkable. Keep up your vision to uphold humanity.
Helpful and tasteful. Proposes different psychological techniques to build a cognitive wellness routine that suits you. It does not contain aggressive marketing, which is really refreshing. Good job!
This app is really amazing, I go through a lot of self help apps and usually don't stick to them because they really don't do a lot to capture my attention long enough to make me use them. And most want money first before you can really reap a benefit from them. However I am impressed and I am HARD to win over in this cyber covid 🌎 world we 👎 we now find ourselves living in trying to find ways to live, work and cope without losing our health or sanity. This app Mindshine does it and More!
This has been reallt helpful to me, its focused my journaling skills and helped me be more mindful and dilligent in working on myself.
So happy I came across this. I find the narration smooth and soothing (in certain apps, some narrators and scripts can get a bit overwhelming). I manage to get through a few new bite-size sections in addition to the routines each time of day. I will keep at it! Thank you for this wonderful app!
This is the best app I have tried. I find it truly helpful and inspirational. I highly recommend it if you suffer from depression or anxiety or even for stress or reflection. Best app for mental health and self esteem.
Wish I could afford to pay but even the free things are really great. The narrator is perfect, the exercises are exactly what I need and it always makes me feel better. Please keep up the good work!
This app has so much potential, but everything is behind a pay wall. They reel you in with one free experience, after having set you up for a "journey" and then you cant take the second step without an overpriced subscription. I was really excited about this app because after the initial step in setting up my account and choosing what Id like to improve, the app was very inspiring. But now... what a bummer. Not even one path can be free, with additional lessons requiring payment? What a let down.
It's only been 2 days but I Love it! I've been trying to work on myself for months and have downloaded several apps but nothing sticks. I like how these excersise are short and to the point. I've read about how writing an obiturary can create positive change and until now never took the time to try it. It really made me take a deeper look at my life. The morning mindset is great, I feel great! 10 minutes into the day and I feel more accomplished than I do at the end of a normal day.
In the exercise "Talk yourself into believing it" the coach interferes in the process notifying after 30 seconds and counting down the last three seconds, very much ruining the tune. For me, it doesn't match with the whole point of the exercise. I have had the same experience with the other similar apps where the instructors ruined the atmosphere, too, reducing the efforts given to the exercises. Sad, I hoped this app's quality would be different.
This would be a great app if it weren't so glitchy. Quite a few audio clips are incomplete, many times it won't respond or be very slow. What's fantastic is that I got to get free access to the VIP version due to the covid situation, so thank you for that, that's really generous. But yeah I feel there are a few issues here and there, but overall I think It will be very useful to me.
Unfortunately, the content you get to try before paying for the full version is very limited - only the first session of every "course" is available (plus one morning and one evening session), and it's just a bit too scarce and basic for me to get an idea of wether the full app would be worth it for me. If there would be a free trial or so, I'd probably give it a go, but since I've seen so little of the app, I don't feel confident enough to invest money in it.
I have tried a lot of self help apps over the years. Like the saying goes the person most likely to buy a self help book is someone who has bought one before. However a week in and I cannot help but feel this is making a genuine difference in my life. This is not a standard meditation or diary app, but rather something entirely different, with genuinely life changing excercises it has improved my planning and life outlook as well as overall mood. I cannot wait to see it's impact in the future.
I am definitely enjoying the free content, it is helping me build better routines, be more organised, and feel positive. The tutorials are well structured and have been guiding me through techniques that I've heard of or done very superficially; the app is helping me use them properly for the first time. I'll be sad when I finish the free content, but repeating it will help me use the techniques even better, or even become habit. Would consider paying for more if I had spare money.
Way too expensive for what it is. The fees are so disproportionate to the premium content. All of the content can be found on basically any other meditation app, many of them free. I'd highly recommend Waking Up, which you can get a free account for and access all content there, or Medito, which has far more and more useful stuff than Mindshine. Use for the limited free content offered but otherwise not worth it as the intention is to charge subscriptions rather than help everyone regardless.
I just started it and it's my favorite app for personal growth. The meditations are amazing and the exercises make me think! Love it!!
Nice concept! I love the design of this app, but one thing slightly irritates me: hover/tap effects on cards. This effect makes them too bright and it confuses me while scrolling the list of cards. Another thing which is unclear, the amount of free training plans. The price of 2000 HRN ( Ukrainian Hryvna) is too high for the application. I am a supporter of apps that have all functionality for free, but paid themes, icons, etc. I like the app so much, and I wish you success in further development
I like it overall. However there are only a few courses. It's lacking in material and after half a year I've gone through it all. Some exercises also repeat. Would be OK but given the price I expected much more. Also, no dark mode and you cannot download the lessons.
This is really great! Challenges you to look at things from different perspectives. Short yet insightful excersises are a great way to progress with your day
I have recently signed up for the 14 day free trial, so far so good for me.. Starts my day of with positive energy rather than sitting around on social media. I actually look forward to starting the routines in a morning. Thanks for developing the app Mindshine
It's has guided meditation, and journalling, simple and easy to use, makes life easier, for reflections, tips and guided questions.
Wow I really love this app and I used a few others so that I can compare at least a little. (calm, headspace, fabulous). Mindshine makes it easy for me to keep going. I don't feel overwhelmed with the whole choice of options or to keep up streaks.
