Minecraft Skin Studio

It used to be good but its changed through updates to be unable to do anything. Cant switch to the clothing layer, can barely see the skin in preview, no editing, its horrible to make any detail to the skins you make. If the developers of this app are reading this could you bring the app back to an earlier version or have it optional what version you want to use? Because that would be very helpful for making skins look good.

Back in 2013, when this app was released, thousands of people used this app as a great way to make, use, and share skins. Since then, iOS has gotten a new renovation and the Android version hasn't had an update since May of 2018 that did nothing but 'clean up' (simplify to a grey color) UI's and add a reporting feature. This app is seriously outdated and no longer works to the level of the iOS version. Comments are broken and undo buttons break the UI in half.

I do enjoy this app, it just has a few bugs. So I made this character, and I upload the skin to the app, and would edit it. But whenever I did this, it would always have some bit at the back of the arms either not filled with any color, or with the colors from the downloaded skin. I have recolored those parts alone around 50 times but it still isn't showing up.

I got this on Android and figured I'd try out an existing skin before making my own. When I went to look for the skin to use it though, it had never been saved. This doesn't work, so save yourself the frustration and money. FYI: Don't attempt to contact the email listed on this app. You'll only receive a message saying it doesn't exist.

It is great but after a while it stopped working so Im re-downloading it. Im happy with it but I rated it 2 stars because of the malfunction were it would shut down oppon one click. I payed for it then and it not doesnt work on my divice Update: it seems that the app doesnt work on samsung devices anymore. Ive always had problems but now it doesnt work I have uninstalled the app and will hope to get it on another device in the future.

It's a good app for making custom skins. Definitely worth the money. However, there is a small issue. Whenever I choose the blank Steve template and color the head then back out, no colors are shown on the head of the blank Steve template on My Skins. Please look into this.

For years, this has been my go-to app for making minecraft skins. A weird issue that I've been encountering lately is that whenever I try to import a skin, I get a message saying that the texture data associated with my account is invalid, and I have no idea what's wrong. I've also seen other reviews saying that people have been having trouble importing skins. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Used to use it all the time. Now it crashes if I try to import my skin. It crashes if I try to edit any skin. It crashes if I try to export any skin. Just not good anymore. Used to be the go app now it's just like I'd rather try my luck with Microsoft Paint.

I've used this app A LOT in the past and I enjoyed the almost endless amount of skins I had made so, I had just reinstalled it. But I noticed it's not working the same as it used to I can get used to how the tool bar has changed but it won't download the skin i have made so i can use it. Please Fix this if possible please.

The ability to copy your own stored skins to make variations is not provided or obvious how to find in the android version. While the app is an excellent choice for editing the skin itself the lack of this basic function brings it from a five star app to a three star app.

Better on Apple. This version is hard to navigate annoying to use and isn't as advertised. The inface and community skin finder especially are buggy and hard to navigate half the time I can't even get the community skins to load. Very poor wish it were more like how it is on Apple.

I don't know what happened to the nice gui this app used to have but now it's just a bunch of terrible hamburger-style menus and the skin download function no longer works, so I can't import my old skins to edit, making the app basically useless.

how come it doesn't have transparency and clothing layers like advertised on the website? and there doesn't appear to be a way to save palettes. not really what I wanted and kind of disappointed with this purchase cause I was kind of hoping I'd be getting more for a paid app. I guess it gets the job done but isn't worth 3.99

I bought this app, because I wanted to make a skin for myself. When I got in, there wasn't a tutorial on how to do anything! Even if there was one, I couldn't find it. When making the skin, the blocks you are supposed to fill in, are really big! And that doesn't help. Refunded this app 20 minutes after buying it.

I'm a user of the iPhone version of this app. I recently switched to android so I downloaded this app. it's not as good as the iphone version at all. No 3d, and a bunch of the features in the iPhone version aren't here. it does what it says sure, but the iPhone version is way better and I feel the android version is outdated. Please do something about this.

This app is ok but not the best. I can't press a tool without messing up a skin. Its just not the same as the old skin studio. I also tried refunding this app but they won't let me! Just give me my refund!

This app is amazing and easy to use! I reccomend it to anyone who wants to make Minecraft skins! I just have one problem, when i look up a skin, it doesn't load anything! It didn't use to do this... Please fix it developers!

I have just purchased this app for my son and I cannot find the content on his tablet at all. It says "installed" but it is nowhere to be found. I cant figure out.how to contact to troubleshoot or get a refund. I am extremely disappointed and sinus my son. I figured if in was paying for an app i wouldn't have issues like this but in was wrong

Bad port into minecraft! Don't waste your money, you won't be able to manage your skins. There is no way to create duplicates in app you have to duplicate your minecraft skin... That said, the upload and download port into minecraft is broken in app. I would look for a more stable app.

I love this app alot but u could improve it by adding a way to copy and paste skins as well as add the colours numbers so u can search for the colours u need. I hope this was helpful

back in the day I used to have this app on my tablet and work perfectly fine but not I downloaded this on my new phone it doesn't save the skins on photos these guys need to fix it and also bring back Minecraft Papercraft studio

Solid skin making app, but compared to the iOS version, it can't compare. Also the undo button doesen't work.

Used to be great. I loved this app when I was a kid and decided to try making skins again just for fun, however, it won't let me import the skin from my minecraft account??? Apart from that, still the easiest skin maker app to use.

The app keeps crashing and I cant do anything at all. It stops and reloads whenever I try to get my skin from my minecraft account.

Whatsoever DO NOT waste your money on this app! I go to create custom skins, yet it tell me to download an app. I click the button to go to download the extra app... And it doesn't even exist. So what am i supposed to do? So please, anyone who wants to purchase this, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DUMB APP!

I think it is a good idea and that it is pretty sweet! (2021 redition: Its probably the best and the most easy to use skin studio ive seen on the game store.)
