Minesweeper GO - classic mines game

Excellent! Who could have thought that the classic minesweeper could be so much improved? so many brilliant ideas and features (online tournaments, hints, replay videos...), everything can be configured (from the duration of a long tap to the desired 3BV-difficulty of a grid), and in a permanent improvement. The developer being a good player himself brings a lot: no compromise on playability. Bravo! -- Hippolyte

I don't remember putting in the review below however it has been a while. I play it almost every day now and don't have a problem with it. It is adequate! They must have fixed it. __________. 2019 below (very very glitchy. worked terrible. touch the screen and nothing would happen for 5 seconds often it would show the mode I wanted to be in and it would not go. Terrible.)

Pretty good as far as M/S clones go, but I'm having some issues using the pen on a Note 20 (was Note 8). The accuracy of the selected tile is off. If I press on the right side of a tile, the actual tile to the right is selected. (Edited for note 20 issue)

I love the app but there's no way to back up your scores and game data! I got a new phone and all my ranks and scores are gone :(

Wonderful, show stopping, entertaining, but the ads are a little much if you play online. Offline, they dont bother me

I have installed 4 different top ranked minesweeper apps on my phone in the recent days, and this one is by far the best one. It has every important UI element this game should have(ie. Question marks),guess free campaign mode, and last but not least the free-version ads are incredibly unobtrusive(only a 5s timer, huge close buttons). All other gamedevs should be taking note: this is how you make a great classic game app with users happy to pay for the adfree version, like I just did now.

Much better than the other Minesweeper game I had, but not totally guess-free even in the guess-free mode. I have a screenshot of a game that required one guess (not counting the opening move, which is always a guess.) If the developer would like to see the screenshot, I can send it. If not for that, I would rate it 5 stars. Good game anyway, LOTS of options!

If you are looking for a minesweeper app, this is THE one. If you're new to Minesweeper or want learn the game, the in-game help, hint feature, and campaign mode will teach you all the strategy, the patterns and logic, you need to succeed. If you are an expert looking for a challenge, there is an online tournament and a rankings ladder to climb. Throw in a great range of themes, some cheats, and even a guess-free mode that takes all the luck out of the game, and you ave a clear winner!

I've tried several minesweeper apps on Android, and this is the best by far! It's truly in a class by itself. The campaigns help you gradually improve your skill level with guess-free games that can be won using logic alone. If you make a mistake, you can undo it (which makes playing much less frustrating) or replay the game from the beginning. There are detailed notes on common patterns that help you win games. I like this app so much that I upgraded to premium right away. That's $5 well spent!

Such a well made app, playing classic is super fun and messing around with the extra features is also fun. The app has 2 primary (cheap) payments, one to disable ads, which are not invasive at all. The other is to enable "guess free mode". Now I've played for a while and I don't think I've encountered any bothersome situations, in my opinion having to guess sometimes adds to the fun. YOU CAN EVEN PLAY WITH FRIENDS OR OTHER PEOPLE!! I couldn't ask for a better minesweeper, great job to the dev

Absolutely great app with one big flaw. It has so many useful little settings like determining exactly how long a long tap is along with many cool functions like the campaign and multiplayer along with replays and stuff like that make it so much more than just any minesweeper app. Unfortunately it has a big flaw in that the icon it uses on the play store is impossible. That 1 can't be next to that 3 like that. There's no situation in which that can work. (Jk the app is flawless I love it)

Now that I've completed all of the campaign levels without tips or mines exploding, I feel like I can leave a review. This is the best minesweeper app I've ever found. There are so many customization options for controls. I'm excited to purchase the guess-free boards to continue playing past the campaigns. Two big thumbs up.

Great app with lots of variety and levels. The interface is great and having a dark theme is a perfect. 1 star less because in the expert level a lot of luck is involved in the final stages. E: In veteran campaign, the hint system is probably broken (eg. had 1 hint reveal 12 green and 4 red with no explanation how). May be have hints on several slides explaining each step not just the all the final results.

I grew up playing with minesweeper in Windows. This game is 100% representative of the traditional game, but has so many features to improve gameplay. The best part is that these features can be turned off and on. My understanding and love of the game has increased ten-fold thanks to this app. After trying a few minesweeper apps, this is the one I kept and play.

Yeah . This app is excellent with multiplayer , leaderboards and lots of offline campaigns along with the 3 classic modes.I am very impressed with the app . Although the leaderboards take too much time to appear pls make it fast. i know it is a bit too much to ask but can u add equipment , ranks , chat, trading and all those stuff that can be found in the minesweeperonline website.

Faithful, but has issues. Click a tile, every now and then it will display the wrong amount of mines. Example: I clicked a tile next to a exposed mine. 1. Figure it'd be safe to click around it as I already had its mine cleared. Nope. Hit another mine that shouldn't be there. Happened more than a few times with different numbers.

The Dark theme option does not work anymore (but the military one does?). I click it and nothing happens. Also, could you possibly add more campaign levels? They were by far the best part of this app, but now I'm just left with the classic randomised games which could and likely will be unsolvable.

Never thought i would like playing Mine Sweeper so much! The "campaign mode" is perfect, just 1000 puzzles that are solvable with logic, no guessing. This makes the game so much more fun! Plus, you can customize the controls for speedier play. I love it!

This implementation boasts a highly customizable and sleek interface, a tutorial in the form of a campaign, and minimally intrusive ads. I've tried many other Minesweeper implementations, this one survived my filtering process easily. It just works, and works well. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fun but sometimes I have no idea why I click a position and it explode a mine few squares away. Broken af and it was sooooo annoying since I almost won that which made me feel quite angry. It happened not once but happened so many times already, that's why I became very careful whenever I almost won and it still did it. Thus, definitely not my fault. I would prob uninstall due to this and fine more stable one.

I paid for guess free most but the game still forces me to guess?? Even after using a hint the hint would show me a move that is not possible to accomplish without guessing, it combines two numbers to make a conclusion, I thought guess free mode wouldn't force me to do that, you should've at least made a statement about that before making that option available. $3 is a price for a full game, and it didn't even remove the ads.

Great switch off tool. And to think this was created to train us in the 80's to locate and use a cursor and mouse. Still challenges. No ads. Perfect use of downtime. Just brilliant. Asteroids next?

Suddenly has ads after every round, which cannot be skipped or clicked off of, don't seem to end, and can only get out of it by force closing the app. I'm not opposed to apps making money for themselves but there's got to be a ToS violation somewhere in here.

This looks like a good implementation of the classic Windows game. I have previously downloaded other Minesweeper games, and this is the best I have seen. The scoring system looks a little bit over complicated, but I think splitting into Simple and Advanced might improve that.

Great version of the classic game! I love the many settings. Switched from Minesweeper Professional after their high score server was shut down. Tried some others and am so glad I found this (though it's a bit harder and more frustrating, less meditative.) Highly recommended!!

This app has it all. It has no chance boards. It even does replays of all your games! I've gotten faster than I can actually click with a mouse on PC versions now!

Simple. Classic Minesweeper. I messaged the developer about how the game sometimes forces us to guess, and he replied quickly telling me about the 'Magic wand' function that's been put in specifically for such situations. All in all a great game and a responsive developer. Keep it up!
