This app is great; the sound is nice, and I like how you can play multiple keys at once and even do glissando (a lot of other piano apps don't allow that). I also like how you can learn songs with it. The ad isn't annoying and there are a lot of features. It doesn't replace a real piano, but I love using this app on the go and when I'm composing. I've tried many other piano apps and I enjoy this one the most. It's hard to play full songs on this app (which can be left unsaid) but it works well.
It's a great piano app. I like how you can make it sound like different instruments. But there's two problems. When I use it with headphones the sound is delayed. Also there's a feature where you can lock the piano in place to play a certain part. I always leave it locked on a specific area of the piano, but whenever I open the app up, it shifts to a different part of the piano. I'm hoping these problems get fixed soon. Other than that, it's a great app!
Was playing a piano within seconds of downloading. No BS, easy to play and sounds decent. Also comes with a metronome. The ad is jammed to the top of the screen, kinda weird at first but easy enough to ignore. Bonus because you can supposedly record a doodle if you needed. Haven't done it, but the feature seems to be there.
Very portable, and I'm using it with a type C USB adaptor to my portable 2-1/2 octave MIDI keyboard for creativity on the go. Low latency makes it very playable for busking. Use wired powered speakers for in-time sound. BTW my cellphone is Android Samsung S10+. My keyboard sustain pedal works with it, and velocity works in this app for expression. I say the MIDI interpreter in the app is solid! I can even use it with my Roland A-30 stage keyboard! But no pitch bend nor modulation on sax. Lite!
This is exactly what i wanted. If youre looking for a simple piano app that just sounds like a piano and has a pretty realistic note duration this app is for you. The settings are userfriendly and very useful.
The app is exceptional, and I am considering getting the pro version. The only slight problem I have is there is a small delay when pressing a note before it sounds. If I can slide from one note to another, it's better. Is there any setting I can tweak to overcome this?
Awesome! Five star rating! Quick loading, uncomplicated (even with the one small ad), zoomable keyboard option... And the best feature: a "lockable" functionality so my setting is always where I want it to be. Believe me, I've had enough piano apps previously. 👍👍
It's a really good app, interface, instrument, sound, everything is great and the app is fairly easy to use but unfortunately for some reason usb midi doesn't work, i can see the name of midi and it says it is connected but when i play anything there's no output in fl studio, i have another midi keyboard in my phone and it works but it's so buggy and not quite good looking. It would be great if developers of mini piano can add input and output option for usb midi which might solve my problem,Tnx
Only drawback so far is: App hides access to get back to Home screen. I have to open menu in top R corner & carefully click "Exit" (if in a hurry, too easy to mis-click!) Otherwise, a great app!
I like the app and I enjoy using it. It's one of the best piano apps I've used so far. I just wish you would improve on the sustain and also make it possible for 2 sounds to be used at the same time. I'm giving you 5 stars because I believe your TEAM will do it. Thanks 👍.
This I the coolest k board app.im relearning good k board. Excellent for beginners and advanced musicians. It takes a few days to learn but once you have it , it's amazing. Thanks!
Loving the app it's really slick and responsive. Hating the rubbish instruments. Needs more sampled instruments or use open source sounds.
Sounds great. Would suggest including the entire white key in touch response. But don't need to suggest as they already thought of that.
Use it with my audio interface, I get alot of enjoyment from something that's free, very nice variety of sounds. theres a little clipping when you play chords but it gives it a nice character.
It's good and I use it quite often to pass time. But can you add more sounds to it? Like accordions and things like that? Maybe some balkan sounds 😁
LOVE IT!!! I play piano professionally-- & I thoroughly enjoy this piano app, whenever I don't have a real piano around. Thanks 👍 SO MUCH!!!
Nice piano sound. But i think the release (sustain) time should be prolonged abit.
This is a great and accurate piano, the keys even have the note names! I've played many songs but I have one problem. There is a share option and it's a great idea. But every time I send it to someone via messaging it sounds distorted. It sounds like it went through some sort of vocalizer. And it acts up when I try to screen record. Overall a great app, 3.8 for me.
I got an instant response from the developer in regards to my issue below. They were very quick to help and offered a great solution. Great developers! Good, but... Recent update has crackles in the audio on my phone, Samsung S8+. Same app, same update on my Samsubg Galaxy Tab (tablet) does not do this, still very clear. I've tried changing the audio engine, and a few other things that I thought would lower the memory needs, no deal. Otherwise this is fantastic, perfect for my needs.
Really like this core piano functionality in app. It is simple and exactly what I need to punch out those tough notes in my choir part. I felt the menu that the were old and confusing and I don't like that these menu buttons sometimes take two rows which make the piano smaller. I think there is too much bloat with all of the tones and the song mode. The song mode is cool, but this is not needed in the lite version. I can ignore tho. Thanks!
I am really enjoying the app. I use it with the Artinoise Re.corder, a recently released version of a soprano recorder which has Bluetooth Midi connectivity. This app enables me to use a variety of "voices" and complements the existing Artinoise app very well. Mini Piano is very user friendly and I confess that I prefer it to the complexities of some DAWs. Well worth a try.
I love the multiple instruments you can use. I would like to make a suggestion though, do you think you could add a button in for sustain and put a sustain level in the piano settings? I still give it 5 stars. I've been looking for a piano app that does not delete the instruments like the perfect piano app that I had, I'd clean my tablet and that app whenever I plugged in the instrument plug-ins it would delete them. Thank goodness I found this app.
After playing it for a while and trying out new melodies I've noticed that not all notes produce the same sound. The tone itself is okay, but some of them have a little "click" when you tap them while the others don't. It sounds really annoying, all in all the app is great EDIT: it is with the sampled piano. I think that e1 makes that little tick when you tap it (that is just an example, there are a few other notes doing the same)
have been using it for a while now, lots of instruments, no invasive ad, you can record and replay things, it's really good!
I love this app, it would be good if more piano sounds could be added, currently there's only one that sounds good. The auto sustain option could do with some configuration settings, such as how long the note lasts for after pressing it, right now it doesn't last very long and ends too abruptly instead of fading out.
