I really wanted to kind this. I miss Vector Tower Defense. Level 15+ it gets boring due to no more tower types and no meaningful upgrades. The devs did a great job keeping it simple, it's just too simple to play for very long. Update: Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to respond! I can't make a game and have never tried. Wish you all the best and hope you'll make another!
Alright then! Why is it so hard for all these other developers to get it right. Expensive looking layouts and PTW aspects ruin things. This is perfect, so I went ahead and supported the developer here and paid for no ads. This is a keeper, and I highly recommend this TD to anyone looking for straightforward, basic yet satisfying presentation. I'm having trouble w/upgrading my towers. Missing something!?
Like all games from this dev, it's good fun. The engine seems to have a lot of trouble keeping up when multiple turrets with multiple power-ups fire though. Frames drop very low when multiple rocket turrets are firing. If the rockets are powered up over 4 times, they either don't fire or they continuously fire onto one point whether or not there is a target there. After the first few levels, the more power-ups you place, the slower the game runs. Great game, needs a patch.
Such a simple idea but done so well, love the graphics. It feels like a fresh and modern spin on tower defence games. I am forever impressed with the sheer abundance of complexity that the dev has managed to add to this game, despite the fact there are only 4 towers! I would highly recommend that you install this game and play every level. I can't wait to see what ArgonGames does next.
I appreciate the originality of the upgrading and the game in genetal, but I prefer the more traditional TD style. It makes it difficult to to get multiple upgrades on a decent amount of towers. The laser tower seems very useless because of the extremely long wait. Since it already 1 hits most enemies, upgrading it is completely redundant. With essentially only two towers, the game feels like it lacks heaps of content compared to Mini TD 2. Every tower in that game had it's own use. Anyway, thx.
It's pretty good except for two major problems. Variety: it is good to keep it simple but really you have 4 options and no skill tree or choices Difficulty: this game is way too easy. I haven't lost a live ever and always get 3 stars, it is not challenging at all and along with the lack of variety it's just biring. Good thing there is a speed button. Other than that it's a good game
Way too basic. You unlock all towers by level 4 and grasp the technique after a few levels. The rest of the levels are just the same thing over and over again. I would love to see different tower being unlocked as you progress, or maybe power-ups etc.
Another fantastic Mini TD game! Love the new mechanism of placing upgrade turrets between units rather than upgrading them individually, very straightforward and easy to use interface, wonderful neon colour palette, absolutely brilliant gameplay! Solid tower defense game. Only complaint is that sometimes i have to click several times on a level to get it started. I paid the 2.50 for ad free because the game as is was worth it to me. I liked that when i upgraded to ad free, it was a legit upgrade and i don't get ads of any kind for any reason. I also paid for the previous versions of this td game too. Love it
Extremely well polished and fun TD game, but gets old very quickly. With only four tower types, there really isn't any reason to keep playing after a few hours. The maps are all pretty similar and the strategy doesn't change much once you figure out the mechanics.
Simple, yet compelling. It's strange that the only audio is the catchy music and the enemies are just simple shapes yet this TD is incredible fun. I've played more in depth games in this genre but this nails the simplicity I want in a mobile game with gameplay mechanics that keeps you coming back.
It took me 4 months, but I finally got a perfect score on all levels. Game was way too easy. I won every level first try. There were about ten levels that took me many trys before I could get a perfect score though. I like Argon's other games better - Sky TD, mini td 1, and mini td 2.
Great game, very nice and relaxing. I like the tower upgrade style, makes it a bit more strategic. The style is also pretty cool. Congrats to the people who made it. The soundtrack is also nice. Just a suggestion - maybe add a hard mode where you make the levels a bit more challenging to get 3 stars.
I love tower defense games but I don't like when they have crazy animation and are too loud with their graphics. This game is simple but has challenges and strategy. I love it. I've gotten 3 stars in all but a few challenges.
Pretty nice game. "Made with unity" and simple but attracting design made me to pay for "no ads" simultaneously. To support the dev. But there is one glitch or bug that makes me really annoyed. I turned of the music in the game, but from time to time it starts playing again overlaying every other sound. I deleted the game because of these. I hope that big will be fixed as well as dev will make other great and more complex games.
It's an ok game for several levels, but nothing changes. All levels are very similar, and there are no new towers or upgrades to unlock. Get the game and enjoy it, but keep your fingers crossed that many improvements come soon.
Great game. Seeing your creative process blossom through Mini TD games has been an amazing trip. A lot of people don't understand how tedious it is to develop a game by yourself, especially a TD one. I've been following Brackey's series on developing a TD Game in Unity 3D with C#. It's tough, and my game definitely won't be as polished as yours hahaha. I have/will be playing your games along with my development. I'm excited to see how you implement new Unity features in later games :) Cheers!
good TD experience. super-short level times allow playing this when you don't have time for anything serious. apparently one can still make a very good game without graphics artist and talent for drawing. me, i knew that from dos-era, there were good games made with lines and circles then, but they went extinct.
This was fun and very addictive. It took a while to appreciate the nuances of its gameplay, despite its apparent simplicity. I finally "finished" (3/3 stars on all 100 normal levels, 35+ on all "endless" levels) and WOULD REALLY LIKE SOME MORE, PLEASE! I will pay you money for a game exactly like this but with 100 (or 200?) new levels. No joke.
Fantastically simple, yet so enjoyable. Doesn't need internet connection to play, which is a plus when you travel abroad or have bad signal. This game and the Mini TD 2 got me through my army deployment!
loved the previous games, but there might be a bug in this one? I can't seem to open the levels edit- it seemed to not work, then it worked after closing and opening, now stuck again at level 7. tried long click, short click, off/on etc. am using android 7, if that helps?
Cant click on field to place. Very annoying. Response to dev: Exactly! It is a horrible UX design for TD. I deleted it and the Sky one too. That drag and drop will never work. Focus needs to be on the cell clicked in and not diverted to the bottom of the screen.
This leaves much to be desired as far as a TD game goes. Interesting game but not exactly a relaxing TD by any means. Good concept but upgrades and currency is needed for an overall upgrade system that is between battles. Good luck team.
A simple TD with an interesting buff mechanic. Once you understand that mechanic all levels can be easily held up to level 35 though. Compared to his previous game there are less ads (still a lot), more bugs and way better sound
What a great tower defense game! Simple, easy to learn, and an awesome new twist on using upgrades!!! Changes the whole way I think about setting up the board! You guys are geniuses. Thanks for another great TD game.
This game is so cool... I love the graphics and how easy it is to play but... I think it is lacking of the towers... And I want like it has more effects that been going in the screen but I think it will cause lag... But overall, a great game
Let me just start by saying that I don't see any ads. Now the game, well it's a classic TD indeed relaxed and fun but ultimately not very good, the sound fx are just absent, yes it has music but that's not enough for me, the graphics are simplistic (imo not very good). To summarize it's ok, but there are many others in this genre that are better.
