So easy to use. Add pick up, drop off, number of people and luggage requirements, one way or return. Taxi companies listed for comparison, so choose the one you want, which can be different for return, check out in seconds. Exactly what you want. Also stores pick up and destinations, to make it quick next time. Great.
Easy to use and tells you whether you have to pay by card, cash or either. Not necessarily ideal for truely last minute bookings (on occasion) in some cases. Otherwise no real problems with the app to date. With an awful lot of phaffing about you can sometimes get a better deal but it is whether you want to phaff just for a few quid.
DO NOT USE! I booked with a local company to me that was a little more pricier and had better reviews. After booking I was advised booking was changed to another provider as the first company could not provide a car. This was a lie as I contacted the original company and they said they were available. The company my booking was changed to was quite a bit cheaper but I was not refunded for the difference. Contacted via chat to request a refund but they were 'unable to help'.
This app does a great disservice to minicab firms who are struggling to compete with Uber. It's unstable, buggy, and lacks a lot of features. The poor application quality doesn't signal to me that the development team know enough to be entrusted with personal data and financial transactions. It's probably easier to Google for a minicab firm and call them.
When I try to enter my card details it states NO PAYMENT METHOD CAN BE NOONCE MORE THAN ONCE Not even grammatically correct and means that I can't make a booking! Had a second go and then got...... OOPS THERES AN UNKNOWN SERVER ERROR. CLOSE THE APP AND TRY AGAIN Actually booked the taxi via website version instead of the app Taxi was fine but driver tood me it would have been much cheaper booking direct with them! Now the day after I receive an email asking me if I still want to go !!!!
The driver arrived later than time booked but managed to get me to my appointment 2 minutes late. It's a good thing I gave myself extra time. Other than that the driver was nice and professional. I also had a few issues paying for the journey. I went out of the booking and went back in and somehow it booked.
Pretty decent but it needs a Miss option and, in my opinion, a Mx option for when registering. Also, I can't see anywhere to set your addresses. Haven't actually tried the service yet but like the idea of the app.
Great experience and service so far...a little dependent on the car company chosen or allocated. I was trying to contact car company but they werent picking up phone. When I called minicabit they told me those are the only contact details . I expect them to be of more help than that. Plus car companies need to meet certain minimum requirements including a must pick up for phone numbers given. thanks
Does not complete booking. Worked fine on iOS, so installed the app when I changed back to android. Tried several times to book a minicab, but got an error message each time. Luckily, it booked the cab on my ipad
Cheapest airport taxi ride i found online! I've used them several times now to and from airports. Always on time and reliable. Will use them again for sure. Con: app does not have a great design in my opinion, but still functional so it deserves 4 stars.
Works and generally, works well, but very expensive. Thought why not give them a chance, so tried them in Nottingham - more than double the cost of an uber that I'd normally use. Used in Scotland, as no uber here - the meter on the cab said the trip should have been £3.40... actual cost... £11 not sure how anyone can justify a more than 300% uptick for the same trip. So use away but just be aware you WILL pay way over the odds.
rubbish if you are using this service for airport pickups. the cab firms never check actual flight details for landing times and delays etc and just show up at times you have requested. any delays they will still show up and charge you for waiting time. never use them again will just use uber in future when I an ready to be picked up
Don't bother using this. I booked a taxi from the airport as I thought it wouldn't be quicker than using public transport. It was over 20 mins late. No excuse as it wasn't rush hour and I'd provided flight details. No apology either.
Downloaded yesterday. Used app today to book taxi but they cancelled on me saying no drivers available. I booked again on the time they said was available even though I knew I was going to be very late. They later cancelled on me again. I had to leave my elderly relative on her own with no way of phoning her because my call network went down... I was still charged. Ridiculous. So upset.
Looked & downloaded this app to arrange a pre booked cab to a London medical appointment the day before I needed the cab (£32.12 charge). The company selected then called 3 times on the day to 1) Bring the collection time forward 1 hr; 2) Say they could come a bit later; 3) Couldn't take me on my booked journey & email Minicabit to ask for help - less than an hour before my safe leave time!! Minicabit left me waiting for a reply. A Local cab company helped & a cheaper rate. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
I booked a taxi from Heathrow to my house. The person being picked up was held up in immigration (although she had a valid visitor Visa but that's another matter). The cab driver requested I cancel the booking but because I was outside the cancellation time I was not entitled to ANY refund. Minicabit kept £170 for doing precisely nothing. A rip off. DO NOT USE.
App won't work "unknown server error" HOT TIP: use this to find the operators, then book directly with operator to save ridiculous commission. e.g. getting to one airport for me dropped price from £43 to £30; another airport from £85 to £68. Don't pay minicabit's ridiculous commission.
Total failure... Pre booked, and prepaid, for a cab from Bishopsgate back to Surrey at 1:10am as went to a wedding reception. Got a text at 1am to say the driver wasn't going to fulfill his pickup and to call the helpline, at 1 am I called the helpline. Nobody was able to help so we got an Uber. Minicabit, you've blown your chance.You took £65 from my card, didn't show & haven't returned my money. Cowboys! App was awful, kept crashing and bugging out. Poor service and awful customer experience
Left stranded at Heathrow. They can't guarantee the quality of the service they contract to so if there is a problem, you have no cab. Their customer services just told me it would take three days to refund my money. No offer of a replacement cab. Service is appalling.
First cab got cancelled but i managed to book another in no time. The service providers available made it easy to choose. I didnt go for the cheapeast option.
It is not good... lots of errors...states using PayPal when using credit card... have had to uninstall it 3 times and still doesn't work... horrible!! Don't waste your time.
Worst cab service of my life! Scam! I could not change,speak to someone,or do anything to the booking as soon as it was made.. and when cancelled I had no option of full refund even though the booking date and time had plenty of notice and it was within 5 min of making the booking!
Taxi arrived 30 minutes late, previous booking not refunded. App does not take into account toll roads therefore had to pay the driver extra. Total rip off, do not install this app.
Had to cancel a taxi since it was set at the wrong date. Only problem is that it only cancelled 1 of the bookings so the other taxi still arrived. Literally the first & last time I will be using this service.
Very useful for last minute booking of taxis. Easy to use and lists various results, cheapest first. Very pleased with this app
A friend booked a cab for us. In the confirmation SMS it gave a booking reference and advised to download the app to 'manage my booking on the go'. Downloaded app. No sign of any way to enter a booking reference or manage my booking.
This app has a lot of problems, it is impossible to use to buy the trip. Buttons don't work, crashes and other problems
Having booked a transfer, I can no longer log in to retrieve it as it says my email address is not recognised. The advice is always, wait and try to log in again. I've been doing that for days. I created a new account with the same email address and password, and logged in smoothly, but there's no record of the booking I'd made! Trust level=0.
