1 week since I bought the Hydra S7, but so far so good. Maybe I'm just lucky, but setting up the device and pairing with the app was very smooth; and connection has been very stable. I also like the functionality and ease of use of the app (compared to my other robot cleaner 360 S6).
Hopefully someone checks here before they buy. The app is half the product, and this half is a horrible user experience. Unintuitive UI, slow load times, frequent crashing. Very buggy in general. Solid hardware but I do wish the app was much better. For reference, I came from the Roborock S5 and their app was a breeze compared to this.
I think it's still very buggy. And after set schedule timing it didn't run. This app needs more fixing. But so far still usable. And when move the robot to another place to start cleaning sometimes it shows it's at different map. But I thought it's already connected to wifi it should know where it is??
The app used to be passable but not it's HORRIBLE! it kept forgetting my map and it went all over the place. I reset the map and it can only function for 1 room, after that it will forget again. please fix the app. The machine is good but the app really need a lot of improvement π
1. No instruction on app use. 2. Difficult to split rooms, "setup failed" message shown. 3. Can't rename auto named rooms . 4. Can't save map versions for different cleaning functions. 5. Can't turn off robot, always on standby mode if not charged, so full charged becomes 0 in hours. 6. Non comprehensible answer options for questions. 7. Robot functions useless as there is no manual remote control when app fails.
Just bought. Similar to mi S6 design& kick start method. Didn't find any difficulty in set up and start. Apps no issues and more option available. Definitely good product and software. Hoping to see good after sale services. Thumbs up to local product. ππ
What is wrong with the app.. Always not connected. I have to reset. Reboot. Restart! The worst is the hydra S7 cannot detect my WiFi!! This not the 1st time. Pls do not buy anything from mini helper when they are not doing anything to help!
Lost map. Vacuum got confused when start operation from another location even when map is saved. Sometimes vacuum would miss out some areas. Sometimes vacuum would just go back & fro in 1 line than the entirw area. Spot cleaning is totally useless, overall navigation sucks.
1 star due to App - same issues as reviews on 20 & 24 July '20. Had mapped out all rooms as needed and now no longer can see any maps let alone open app as app requesting to sign-in not recognising my previous sign-in..yesπ details correct!! Vaccum seems to do a good job but how can I use with app if not able to sign-in....do not want to do a new signup as I do not want to lose maps already created...please fix!!
The mapis very bad. Sometimes it worked. But on set schedules, it does not work and keeps tryong to map a new location... The developers also uncontactable.
Terrible waste of money. Wasted so much time relocating the set and reset + recalibrate but the map is forever corrupted. The equally useless customer service centre only repeat the same sop and deny warranty. After countless relocations, the map is still corrupted. I bought another brand and it works.
Location for charging station changes for no reason, making the robot unable to return home. App refreshes are slow and sometimes buttons do not work.
The app keep trying to get info all the time and is not displaying map or anything. I got to reset the robot and reconnect it. Pls fix this.
Very lousy n unstable. Sometimes select room to clean appears and sometimes it does not. Although mapping of rooms completed, map doesnt show.
Poorly developed app. Logs you out then doesn't generate the code needed to forget password. Doubt if it even has the log in function
Excellent product. Useless app. The app cannot connect to Wi-Fi most of the time
empty screen when I click to enter main menu. if not i get logged out and cannot log in. what's wrong?!! please maintain your app regularly.
Their app developer fast n efficiency if u need to add anything that is usefull they will listen to u n match ur request. They even call u directly to know more information. Currently this app lack of notification when ur robot got stuck they promise to add in within a day.
This is follow updates, after I figured out on the schedule setting now it's working fine, the vacuum robo doing exactly what it supposed to do. I am quite happy!
This app is okay last time but now everytime the map is not even there at all when i wanted to use the phone to control it.
Should provide notifications for robot stuck, start cleaning, return charging. I think this should be basic function that app should have.
Map goes haywire at times, also my the app stops recording the cleaning date and time. Honestly the robo vac is good just the app needs alot of update.
My mini helper robort does not say "enter network configuration" & when I tried to connect to my WiFi, the app does not work.
With reference tohydra s7, the schedule does not work. There is no no go zone or virtual wall feature.
This app work better for control the robot from the app.but I can't pair my account to Google home.plase development help me.i now using Hydra s7
Robot does not connect at all. Tried on 2 Android and 1 iOS. Waste of money on the robot
The app sux, the problems described by others are all true, I hope I've seen this before buying....
App problems -Slow updating of robot position -does not save robot position has to relocate itself Robot hydra s7 fantastic robot app is the only drawback

Absolutely terrible, do not buy! The machine itself works great, the problem is the app "mini helpers" that you need to download to enable mapping and using the item through the phone. Numerous times logging in is impossible which means you have zero access to mapping and programs for where you want the machine to work! Customer service is absolutely embarrassing and get back to you with a pathetic answer of "have you tried reinstalling the app" whenever they feel like getting back to you.
