Minimalistic Text: Widgets

This app is near perfect. I just wanted to display current weather on my screen, without a bloated weather app running behind it. Not only is this app small on storage space, but it runs on minimal RAM. The only thing that did bother me was choosing the size of the widget BEFORE picking what would go in it, with no apparent resize option. It took 3 tries to pick a widget that would fit my needs, having to start from scratch each time. Otherwise, this is everything I could have asked for.

I used this app extensively a few years ago and am looking forward to using it again. It certainly has a learning curve, but once you take the time to fumble through and get it down, you can honestly create some amazing widgets about ad diverse as your imagination. That being said, don't forget the learning curve because there are no real directions, but it's worth sticking out.

I've been using this widget for years. It's clean, has many possibilities and is super adjustable. But there's 1 thing I'm missing: Calendar options in the layout possibilities. There's a plethora of options throughout the categories, but calendar is still missing. (Sadly weather also doesn't work in the latest update :'-(( ) This forces me to resort to oa the Transparent Calendar which sadly is not very adjustable, which makes it incompatible with light backgrounds (bc. text colour = white)

Good interface, settings, and weather data, but with one fatal flaw: it doesn't allow precise positioning of elements. You're limited to just rows that all use the same text alignment and linespacing. Precise positioning is important, especially for small widgets with lots of elements. The rest of the app is very good, so this omission was surprising. Also, the row system was a bit unintuitive at first, and I think without Storage permissions it lost my saved widget (should've warned me).

Sad that this is going to legacy. This is a fantastic app and has been my go-to for every phone and tablet I've owned for years and years. Thanks for putting together and supporting the most customizable, all inclusive app I've ever used. Easily my favorite app of all time.

I used to love this app. I've had it ever since my galaxy s7. I just got the new Galaxy S10 with Android Pie and Samsung one UI, and the 3 widgets that I've always used for battery, weather and time no longer updates on my home screen. help UPDATE** Battery saving feature was putting app to sleep. removed fron sleeping apps list, working great once again.

Seem to be buggy, when I would turn my phone on, the text will get super huge. When I restart my phone, it goes back to normal. Uninstalled and will look for something else. The interface needs improving. Really need to simplify it.

Used to be a great widget app, but the last few months something stopped working and now the widgets either won't load at all or if they do load they don't refresh which isn't great if you're using it as a clock etc. Before this issue it was an easy 5 start app.

It's awesome but crashes a lot lately. Also, weather will start saying unknown or it won't update until I force update through the app global settings. I love the app and would easily give 5 stars if not for the glitches. I really like text based clocks and battery levels.

Used it to set a quote on my home screen with transparent background. Although the app widget has the option of choosing font, it doesn't let you navigate beyond internal storage folder & sd card to select the font folder. So, in essence, no custom fonts feature.

Own the family, pro version. I've used this great text widget making app for years, across all my devices and all my family uses the same pro app, too. If you love to organize, identify, and need/want clickable, directive widgets to help yourself or others quickly find your device's content, this is the widget maker for you! I especially love using text widgets when helping my elderly family members, and my non-technical family members find specific device settings, apps or other daily use content. I can setup actionable widgets that identify with purpose, thank you!

Contrary to the app description this does not allow you to customize or create your own widget. This is merely for display of clock, time, weather etc or so it claims as those are the only options given when trying to set up the widget however nothing ever shows on the screen except for a simulated loader turning and turning. You cannot add your own text. This is worthless

Simple app to show indicators for events. I use it with Llama app. And still functional for years. BUT Wiki page link for more details inside app doesnt function. Abandoned??? reply Tracy Nevlis Not correct. U can create ur own text and controls.

You can create some decent clocks with this if you want to fight through the user interface. Building a clock can be an effort in frustration and the process really needs to be improved.

I LOVE this app, Not sure if it's the same developers as Clockr, but it's Clockr on steroids. My only issue is that my only options for "0" is "zero" "O' " or "hundred". I absolutely fell in love with "elevenOHseven" style.. Wish you had the option for "OH"... Would have given it 5 stars.

The widgets aren't showing up always.. have been manually going in app and refreshing each to make it visible again. THIS IS HAPPENING VERY FREQUENTLY TO THE POINT WHERE I'M NOW FED UP. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. MY S10+ NEEDS YOU TO FIX THIS. COME ON!

Preview is sideways in landscape mode. Short Day Text pads a zero which is unusual "02nd". Otherwise this is an amazing app and I am happy to contribute to it's progress.

This is one of the most useful apps on my phone. If you want customisable widgets without the bloat, and you're willing to take some time to learn how the app works, you'll like it.

What I find is a great feature: being able to set colors for the text that change during the day!!! Now, where do I find that "other, similar app", that has this function too...!?!? 😢 I like this app so much...

Hey guys, great app, I love it. There's an issue where the date takes a long time to update to the correct number. It usually shows the previous day date until late into the next day.

Thanks For The Ride! I have used this app for years to create some very useful custom widgets (with welcome Tasker integration). There is nothing to compare! Much appreciation for its continued development. Hopefully Google won't ever break it.

I loved the app...but the only flaw I noticed is that sometimes the time doesn't get updated... It's really annoying...what's the point of having this app without proper time ...plzz fix this

Love the widget. Clock widget time is frequently off by a minute to system clock. Thus the reason for the 3 stars. Two emails to support, no response. Would be five stars.

Really great but weather doesn't work (I verified my api key works). If you ever open source I can fix for you ;)

I love the app, but curious if anyone else has the issue with the "next alarm" showing random, wrong times? Not a huge issue, but would love it to work.

Widget is good, though changing widget size is cumbersome. Also why does a widget need a persistent notification at top that its running. Give me option to remove that notification. Using MiUI 10.

The creator says there are "other apps" better than this, as he leaves the field. I cannot find anything better. If suggestions are available I will consider them, but I have loved this app for years; it will be hard to move on.

Great app. The dev says there are better alternatives. But this is not true. This is the best and most customizable label widget. I hope the dev comes back and keeps supporting on this app.
