Minimizer for YouTube - Background Music

Can be played when screen is off. Resume at which video/playlist you last watched. Only gripe is. If connection is lost, video will resume at when you first resume at for the session. Which could be a few video before, if you have been binging on a series playlist. Work around is to press forward till you find the last video you were at or frequent restart of program. Update music mode is back on 7.3.

Every fresh opening of the app ads run which is fine. But recently ads doubled and are no longer properly skippable (you only have about a half second window which if missed forces you to watch the entire 45 second ad). Again, now it runs 2 of these busted ads every time. It also lost proper functionality and stays on top of all apps even after the home button or any of the intended pop out buttons in the app are pressed. Busted ads and lost functionality. Not to mention all the other latent bug

Dark Mode only darkens the menu, not the main YT parts. Video Settings only lets you change speed. The Settings on the video itself refuse to change so I can't adjust quality. It sometimes randomly autoplays "next video" even though that's turned off & I'm not in a playlist or Music Mode, & pressing previous vid arrow doesn't go back to previous vid. It's confusing & clunky & unstable. I'd be willing to support this app, but how can I if the devs don't support it themselves? 😔

probably one of the greatest app you should have.. i really recommend it if you love to play some music or even asmr.. you can set time limit so it will save your ear.. lot of features like repeat video, ghost mode and off screen.. just if can, please do remove some annoying ads.. keep it up!

Great App, has ADs but the functionality is amazing. UI a bit clunky at times but the app leaves no functions to be desired, minimizing, locking your phone all while playing your desired video is finally possible. Thanks!

It used to work extremly well. However, after the last update, I can't adjust the resolution on my android phone. Also, it suddenly closes for no reason. Please, fix all these issues as I used to love this app before the last update.

Something in the app is broken. It can no longer do the floating frame or ghost mode. And the sleep timer doesn't close out the app like before. It just keeps it running which keeps the phone on. All night.

This app is great if you don't want to bother paying for youtube premium, however one issue i do have ive noticed that this app really drains my battery. Which gets very annoying. But overall very good!

I have been using this app for about 6 months. It does what the description says and I really like it! But recently (I don't know if it is just me or other people have the same problem) the notif bar is not working - I cannot stop the song, play it 10 seconds back etc. Also it seems like the option to loop songs is not working in the in-app bar nor the notif bar.... Edit: It started working again!! Btw awesome app

Bugs brought in on recent new release appear to be squashed. App seems seems to work well again. Still no direct contact from dev but their update comment to my previous review did the trick.

Everytime I lose signal, I lose the spot in my playlist. Sometimes it will go back to a list of songs that I played a day before so then I have to search for the songs all over again.

this is a fairly good app, i have been using it for well over a year in a half. the ads arent annoying and dont even bother me when watching videos. but other than that, recently i dont know if its just me, but it seems the notif bar and home bar in-app has removed the ability to loop videos. i want to have that back, please and thank you.

I've been using this app for the past year, and I have to say the latest update is super bad. The music stops every 30 seconds on ghost mode (even in the app itself in recent), sometimes won't let me back into the app even if I'm in ghost mode, is super slow to the point I don't want to use it and would rather pay, it seems like the pause button just doesn't work because whenever I try to play music it doesn't respond, it's been getting progressively worse in my opinion. Please fix it!!

great app!! love LOVE the lack of actual youtube ads. love the way i can draw on my phone or talk to people while listening to music or whatever. the only thing i have an issue with is that sometimes when i am playing my music in the background while doing something else it stops. like right now actually!! just typing this review and it stops playing. if this could be fixed somehow?? that would be excellent ::)

It's my main music app now, the ui is pretty sleek, though sometimes it glitches out but normally it's a simple workaround. I just wish the full-screen ads wouldn't lock my screen out, disabling me from touching the screen. If the ad popped up just about as I started the app, it'd fix that issue, since the ad now pops up right when you exit away from the main screen, onto another app, for instance. It catches you off guard and pressing the home button on a reflex locks you out entirely.

Seriously? 30 seconds of mandatory ads to watch every time i open the app's main window? UNINSTALLED. ----my old review for your info---- The best app for the job. It could be more full featured. But, I'm still very happy with it. Some of the features I would love are related to playlist manipulation. I would also like to be able to search for videos while the present one continues to play in a tiny window. And, casting to other devices over wifi would make it perfect.

Great app. Best feature set of all the players I have tried. With latest version (or the one before it) interacting with the video becomes impossible: sluggish, dark video area, multiple long loading animations. This happens only after the video (or audio as I use ghost mode or screen off) has been running for a long time, but not by moving timestamp forward. It is actual playtime for a single video. At this point, new videos in the same instance also keep the behaviour.

I used to really like this app. But recently there has been so many ads, before and after the video starts, and randomly in the middle. And I've only been able to watch a few videos before the app slows down and gets all glitchy. Then it takes forever for videos to start, sometimes they don't at all. I'd ask the creators of this app to fix those problems, but they'd ignore me anyway. Edit: I am now only getting one ad as I open the app, and I appreciate it. Still gets slow quickly.

Will say that the base app works well, all the features work as intended without the in-app purchases. But there is a bug where if you keep the app on the screen itself for some time (more than 30 mins) not just the minimized video or the ghosted video, the app somehow forces it's priority over other device functions which then slows down the device and makes it malfunction. Due to the severity of the malfunctions I have had to restart my device about 8 times now since I downloaded the app. 3/5

I love the app and it is a great way to get around YouTube's background play block and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for a bug I keep having with the "are you still listening?" feature. If I am not in the app or not on the phone and it gets to the "are you still listening?" feature it will repeat the song it was playing over and over without being able to skip it or say yes and it keep going as it should to the next song. Fix this issue and I will change my rating.

Very convenient and customizable in how you want to view/hear videos (plus has a dark theme!). Sometimes the drag-down menu doesn't respond as it should, but it's such a small inconvenience that the app itself more than makes up for it. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to multitask with either videos or music.

I just download this and it's AWESOME! Just what i need. I will update it 5 star if there is no problem for further use [Edit]: i've been using this for approximately a week and i usually use the ghost mode. I think this is a great app, and not so many ads. It's just that i found my phone became slow when i use the ghost mode. Sometimes the video stop by itself, and close by itself but not so often.

Great app, love it to bits. Just what I needed whenever I want to play music while doing something else. premium version makes it even better cause you can watch vids with off screen. I had problem with this app turning off at times, but I figured a solution in battery saving options. And now this app is ideal. Thank you so much for this amazing app!
