Minneapolis Skyway Maps
In this first release, coverage is provided for a core route covering sporting venues, hotels, parking ramps etc.
Coverage will continue to increase as more businesses opt in.
• When you are inside the coverage area, you will see your location as a blue dot – think of it as an indoor GPS system
• Search for major points of interest and get turn by turn directions to your destination
• Save a location and send it to someone you know via text or email for them to navigate to you (they will need the app as well)
• After the application and map has been downloaded, navigation on site in the Skyway doesn’t require a data / Wi-Fi connection
• The app needs to be in the foreground to work. Bluetooth and Location services to be turned on
• Continued use can reduce battery life

This is a good idea for an app, but it is outdated and does not work. Someone should really maintain and update it. It would be very helpful if there were an app to navigate the skyway downtown. It never did lock onto location on my phone.
Not very informational, only list the location name like, "US Bank" or "Jimmy Johns". Very hard to click on the location you actually want. Many local eat and drink places are not listed even though they are within the limited skyway maps in this app. Can not find my location so cant get directions. Rather an unusable app.
horrible, doesn't find location, zooms out everytime you click something to try to find it yourself. waste of time even downloading it. i wish i read the reviews prior to wasting my time.
It's a very incomplete list of destinations, so it's not very useful as is, unless you happen to only want to go to the listed places.
Not kept up to date. For a navigation app, it's ridiculous you need access to my photos, comes off very sketchy.
As most reviews say...horribly outdated and never finds you. Appears to be created then left to die off. Only shows a 1/4 of all skyway paths.
Requiring access to other things on my phone other than location is not necessary. And requiring it for the app to work is ridiculous. Uninstall!
Doesn't work. In the middle of the skyway system, full bars or Wi-Fi and couldn't get my location???
Can never find my location. I'm standing outside in full view of the sky and still nothing.
Sorry, not giving access to my phone's contents. Not necessary, so scary that's a requirement.

I was standing in a skyway, yet keeps telling me im not not.
Doesn't work at all. It downloads the map data, then says I'm probably outside the skyway location, and then there's just a black screen. The location access prompts were very buggy and slow as well. This shouldn't have been released as it is right now. Clearly needs more testing.
I'd love to give a review of the app, but it's only a plain black screen. This thing was made for the Superbowl, yet doesn't recognize the skyway going from the stadium to US bank stadium ramp. Pathetic
App doesn't work. It says 'you are probably outside of skyway area' no matter where I am. Does not indicate my location and does not have many preloaded locations to use. Will have to uninstall for now. Samsung GS7 Sprint.
Says it's downloading every time it starts, shows a blank screen, then says that you are probably not in the skyway, even when you are. Not useful in any way.
The app wouldn't even open on my pixel XL 1st Gen, just sat and hung on a black screen after turning on location.

even with bad reviews I was hoping this would be of some use. it's not much of any use. had to switch to google maps to at least an idea of location. out of date, app is missing skyways, Odd thing is it only seams to work if your in the skyways it knows about, streets and buildings are not labeled in the app or are not obvious. you could argue this app actually makes it harder to get around in downtown.
