Update: not happy to hear that this app will be going away shortly. I don't think that regular Mint app compares in terms of just quickly viewing bills. With wanting to be able to see my bills in one place, this app is great. I can't add all of my accounts, but really like the countdowns to my due date. Really like being able to see my accounts at a glance well before the due dates so no more surprises.
Tabulates my monthly expenses on a splash page with current financials, I just wish it would include an option to tabulate total credit card balance instead of minimum payment balance. IE, you use gas cards and you pay them off monthly, so it under figures your total bills in that respect.
Previous version had the ability to add annually recurring bills. But they removed it in the latest version. So you can't add reminder for car tab, club membership, safe deposit box fees, annual card fees, etc. Lame! Now more and more accounts are not being updated due to not keeping up with instutions' website changes.
Hands down this app is the best for paying bills. It makes it simple and easy like I never thought possible. How they make it so seamless and easy I don't know, but companies should make all bill paying this easy. I have had it make me double pay for a bill once. Nothing major but annoying to spend 60 bucks twice in a week.
My only complaint is that if you have multiple accounts at the same bank, it will show your primary account more than once. This makes it appear as though you have more money (cash) than you actually have. For example: 2 credit cards at the same bank = your checking account balance showing twice. Once you get used to focusing on one checking account for your current balance, it's a wonderful app.
It's an absolutely great tool for people like me who need a little help with remembering all of their bills. Good app and USUALLY pretty stable but hiccups do happen. I have never had any major issues and hence why I give it 4 stars. Overall a good app.
I've been a dedicated Mint user for several years now and when MintBills came out I fell in love with the ease of paying bills, all while I walk into my office or have breakfast. Just wish the two apps were synced together, please get that fixed as that is why I couldn't rate this 5 stars. Thanks
This is solid work here. I love the way it easily shows the sum of all my bills vs my income. It's also really beneficial that it shows you what is due when, how much you will be spending in the coming week, and then gives you the option to pay it from right there. The database of bill options isn't exhaustive, but I like that a request can be sent so that it can expand.
I like the app a lot. Only problem I have now is some bills work one week next week they're experiencing problems. Fidelity has quit working I can no longer watch my 401k. It keeps telling me my credential are wrong. I've checked and rechecked them so I'm not sure what the problem is. One other thing my bank tells me my balance and available balance this only tells me my balance.
My bank that has been linked for years now says I need to log in to my banks site and fix an ambiguous problem. My 3rd party access is up to date, but Mint still gives me an error. Deleted the account to re-add and see if that helped, now it won't even let me add my bank account back. The app is effectively useless to me now.
I recently attempted using Mint Bills to make a simple payment to a major home security service. I was reluctant at first because of the time it takes for payments to arrive. Nevertheless, I used the service and much to my shock, they lost my payment! When I noticed that the money had been deducted from my account but the payee hadn't received payment, I immediately contacted Mint Bills for assistance. I keep getting the run around from them and the situation remains unresolved. User Beware!
I do love this app, it shows all my accounts in one place and helps me stay on top of my bills, especially credit cards, without this app I would have been late on my bills or may be miss them sometimes but Mint bills helps me remember and make payments for me. It always reminds me of what to do and how much I spent. I recommend this app to everyone one who has a lot of credit cards . Thank you Mint
I have used this app for close to 6 years in its many versions, first as Pageonce, then Check and now Mint. As Mint, it wasn't as reliable last year. Both the app and the website were problematic at times. However, this year has so far been a great experience. I use this app nearly everyday and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a way to manage their finances and bills all in one place.
Convenient app. Just wish it would include expected checks and expected balance after bills come out during a pay period. Other than that it is simple to use and you can either have it pay your bills or you can set it up where it reminds you to pay your bills. I use the manual option for all of my bills since pay isn't always steady and some months I like to pay some things early and some things on time. Either way the app has made Bill pay very convenient for me.
It aggregates all your bank accounts, credit/debit cards and bills, so you can handle your bills, transfers and your 401(k) from your mobile device. It simplifies all those actions and you can even schedule your payments to make sure that your pluses are aligned with your minuses. The APP earns its money from the offers that you may or may not accept
I have two checking accounts, a credit card, and a car loan. This app helps me see all of my information in one place so I can plan accordingly. I knocked it one star because it's not very intuitive to add bills not attached to an account (daycare). Otherwise, great app. Would definitely recommend.
Not a reliable bill paying tool for several reasons. 1) Misses easy to add and important capabilities such as adding nicknames. 2) Doesn't prompt user that a bill login doesn't work. My water bill was due but the app never reported that the login failed until I queried the bill manually. 3) Desperately needs a "bill minder calendar" that makes sure that bills get paid - a monthly bill list that the application checks against. This is a toy at best but not something you can rely on to make sure your bills get paid.
Upgrading it to one star. I keep having to reenter all my account info every week. There needs to be an option to be able to customize the reminders for upcoming bills. I don't need a reminder 3 weeks out that my bill is due. Sometimes there's false bill reminders on accounts that have no bill due. The account information for synchrony banks have to be constantly updated, not sure if issue with them or mint.
I would give this app 5 stars bc it's great having all acct info in 1 place, but if you make a manual bill and even if you dont click that you have paid it, it goes back down to the bottom if the list. I wish it kept your past due bills at the top. Also the app never updates accts unless it is opened So I never get Bill notifications on time.
Used to be one of my most useful apps, but no longer syncs with Fidelity and State Farm; only pulls half of balances from empower retirement and requires email verification each update. Contacted tech support, but they said they could not support newer software on those sites. Progressively getting worse.
I have used this app for so long! Too bad they are taking it away and "recommending" that you use the regular Mint app. This is a shame as that product is utter garbage, full of advertising and horrid inaccuracies. I will not be using any other Intuit products because of this. This shows Mint is truly only worried about their money and not yours!
Was able to go pass sign in„ security code request have over 6 different phone number each have over 15 digital each and none is correct. I'm guessing it's the wrong bank, thou not sure why it let me sign in. So I requested new bank URL. Hope add soon.
It doesn't load up. Error page and messes with the cell.
