The default mode on the phone does not work. I use dark mode at night but mint browser stays in light mode. I have seen a Dark Mode option in Mint browser settings but this Dark Mode is not user friendly. Sometimes it seems like it's actually a dark-gray mode. I hope the Xiaomi developer team will release a new version of Mint as soon as possible. Thank you
Finally an xiaomi browser app I'm Liking it very much as ive got an C5 it won't Actually Make Sense if I Didnt.Now all I really want of this app=[back and forth] geatures and customly mades+bg playback saving much power with its display off and it will save much of it also ppl wants a [Jio pages ui and TV bro shortcuts] for all TVs cuz many ppl will be using it with TV ofc especially a MI TV or TV box/stick keep That in mind as it will be fairly important oh and Tabs will be very important
Great experience overall, but one thing not fixed for years is the ability to auto fill from a password manager!
This browser is very fast but I only have one problem. The ad blocker feature is not working! But overall the broswer works well.
Great browser but I'm facing a issue, it pauses download whenever display turns off.I've chaked all the possible Settings.but no result.
It's nice, the video download feature is awesome. Just add more platforms from which to download from. Love it!
I can't download from Instagram anymore. I tried different versions of mint and spent an hour or so but all in vain. It does not give download button in Instagram anymore!!!!
I download this browser to download content from Facebook and Instagram but downloading option for Instagram is not coming up for Facebook is working Perfect. Kindly help me with this
I found this browser as useful, easy to use and fast loading but also the Facebook is good. Thank you guys for the job well done
pretty good browser overall,easy to use and all, but 1. it seems to load a tad long, and 2. when the darken website mode is on it turns the screan white as it loads a new web page, also it would be nice if you could turn off the darkening filter that dims the screen thus only turning the whites on webpages black and make the filter optional. overall very good but these 3 flaws do stand out
The browser are fast and nice can you add some feature like can we installed a Google extension, into the Google webstore and also a change theme in browser i hope you read my comment
CANNOT SYNC BOOKMARKS!!! I bought a new phone but cannot sync bookmarks to the new phone!!!
It's a trimmed down version of mi browser. Great to see a simplified version without ads. But needs a lot of work tbh. Speed is not good as expected. Desktop view should be easily accessible. Providing a search button at the bottom would be useful, as one can't always rely on voice commands only.This browser needs to pack in more features in order to be able to stand competition. As of now, mint doesn't offer anything that makes it stand out.
The good: its fast and zippy. Like the ability to download (some) vids, although it seems tha video can only be played within the app. The bad: night mode doesn't look the best. Also, I don't like that the app takes over the whole screen, not even leaving space for the phone status bar that displays time, battery and other info. Its annoying that one has to manually swipe down from the top in order to see time.
It's okay. Not being able to switch the search engine is a major downside. Also, I don't want the buttons at the bottom. I don't download videos from websites and I don't need a "soft button" dedicated to YouTube. It does really well at loading pages, even ones that other major browsers have issues with but that itself isn't quite enough for me to make it default.
This is a very nice browser. I so much love the ad blocking function. I love the Facebook video download feature. It's amazing. There is one area that needs to change. When we long-press a link in a web page, it is not good to open it on foreground by default and blocking the existing tab. It should rather open in background tab. If we need to open it on foreground we don't need to long-press it, we will rather open it by touching the link once. So that function needs to be swapped.
Overall a good browser, but a few annoying things that prevents me from using it on a daily basis. 1. No import of bookmarks from an html file. 2. Does have the reading mode, however, it rotates into the portrait mode, while I use the landscape mode on my 8 "tablet. 3. Would like to see more customization, e.g. background, icons in the speed dial (they all show the mint donut), make a local page as the home page (e.g. bookmarks). The only option is a URL or 'default' but you can't change the 'default' and few other things.
Interesting browser! I like the downloading feature very much. My issues are with the tabs appearance, which we don't have an option to change how we see them and neither group them, also there isn't a "tablet mode" to how we see the tabs. The bar at the bottom is a bit unnecessary (and kinda annoying if you accidentally tap it). And the dark mode is TOO dark, because you can't control the light dim of the app, and then I have to put the phone brightness almost to the maximum :(
I loved this app very much when i first found it. But along the line, it was slowing down in browsing and downloads. It was becoming very annoying when downloads would stop and indicate "couldn't download". I deleted it some months ago but remembering some good features of this app, i installed it again today only to find out that the problems especially downloadings stopping on the way hence, wasting time, energy and data are still there. Please do something about it. It can become a great app.
Download speed is very slow, and download process cannot be paused. That is a big flaw for a browser. However, as this is first release I would like to wait for the next update. And interface is very attactive, browsing experience is very smooth. Deserve best wishes! Bug in Jan 9 Update: - still needs to sign in after every time I start the browser.
It seems to be fast browser when it comes to loading video and switching to fullscreen mode. It's nice but not convenient enough, for example: it would be very comfortable to switch between tabs using swipe gesture, also the "forward" button is used more frequently than "home" button, so it would be better to place home button somewhere at the top and add "forward" button at the bottom. Also it would be very convenient to place search bar at the bottom :) Also adblock doesn't work on some sites.

It's done a fine job so far,I'd been using Chrome forever,but mint has quite a bit of extra functionality, features that keep me coming back to it, there is still alot about it that confuses me,Its just different in slot of ways, it can Download videos slot better
The most annoying thing is, whenever i leave the browser and put it on background, it automatically reload the page, but it still has the old content. that really wasted my time and hurt my experience. Night mode too if I load to other page, it doesnt immediately put it on night mode, it's as if there is loading time. Actually, this browser feel so clunky anf slow because of that "loading time". Great feature, but not optimal enough
Wonderful browser. It's quick and snappy, has a clean and simple to use UI, and the only quam I've had is that it will only allow a max of 16 tabs to be open at any one time. This probably isn't a problem for most people but I am one of those chronic tab openers that will open 100s of tabs in a short time without noticing how many I've opened. Still give this 5 stars though because it's the fastest browser I've ever used and really has no major issues. Love it!
A very cool browser, just the phrase "I shared blah blah using Mint Browser" is a bit very stupid. I mean, really now, who's business is it what browser I'm using? And that I shared that blah blah article/link is so obvious, it doesn't meet to get specifically mentioned 😂! But apart from that, it's a very cool browser. One of the best! Especially switching between search engines and incognito mode!
The best browser I've ever used. It's quick, easy and it allows you to immediately download some videos very fast. The only thing I don't like is if you close the app and reopen it, whatever page you were on will be gone. I've looked though the setting and couldn't find any options that would allow me to change it so I guess that's just how this app is
A lot of improvement has been done since the last update however the ad blocker is still a hit or miss especially if I go to 9 anime and whenever I try to watch a video, I get bombarded with a lot of ads, and tabs open up for ads for natuku as well. I really like the design, and it's good browser but again the adblocker leaves a lot to be desired.
This is a pretty cool browser. The night mode is nice but it doesn't affect the entire UI. The down side is that it doesn't alternate the text on the system UI (text such as system time, network indicator, battery percentage etc, remain as white in white background instead of black in white background), it's lacking in advance feature such as saved page. And news feed like we have in opera mini. Please fix and update. Thanks!
its a perfectly acceptable browser, i havent found any crippling defects that would cause me to nope out; however be aware that it only allows sixteen tabs at once and the bookmark manager is painfully barebones. perhaps this is an intentional design choice to keep the browser light and fast, but it is strictly to be used as a side browser.
