Miracast for Android to tv : Wifi Display

It doesn't work- I pressed start , opened the TV, went to the screen share thing and it can't even detect my tv

I have roku and in pressing the connect to wireless at the top right, my TV popped up and I have absolutely no issues with this app. It syncs both image and sound to the television perfectly. I've used it for hours at a time and it works perfectly. The ads are of no issue since I only see them when I open the app. So, overall this is the best casting app I've tried!!!

UPDATE: Just tried the app again and it's worse than I remember. The new app I'm using now, (Castro) has ads, of course, but they don't loop and it's reasonable to start it on my TV. Original review: The ads go on a loop, sometimes making it impossible to start it. Same thing on 2 different phones. Time to uninstall and find a new app that will work. It's a 3⭐ when it works and let's you close the ads and get in. A little slow and interrupts tv needing to restart app.

I am confused, it doesn't appear to actually be an App. It simply shows adverts and promotes other apps, after trying for some time, closing and reopening the app, I was not able to access any functionality at all, all I got was advertising. Very odd and a waste of my time. Understand your need to have adverts, but would exp0ect some functionality as well, no intention of paying for an App that doesn't actually deliver any functionality that I can evaluate..

Pros: The app connects perfectly to my TV app. the quality of the video depends on the bandwidth of your lan connection. Cons: Too Many Ads! Feels like adware.. There should be an option to buy a subscription or license to remove the ads. There's way too many which may cause me to delete the app. I will give a better rating and a better review wants the ad situation is fixed.

It's not actually an app. Just a shop front advertising other apps. Total scam.

Finally, a Great screen mirroring and tv cast App mobile app that allows you to cast content via mobile. Works flawlessly. The only update I’d like to see would be the ability to fast forward and rewind a certain number of seconds. Currently, you can only skim back and forth but this isn’t even an issue.

An uncomplicated app that gets you where you want to go on your TV. There were few ads I had to close before I could watch my program , but that's a small price to pay for a free service like this. And, remember to turn your phone to landscape kto see your video on a wide screen instead of a tall one

Just displays ads. Edit with reply: I understand that you are funded with ads and i use many apps that are also funded with ads. However, ads must not hide the actual app functionality. With your app i was unable to find the actual part of the app that works, thats why i wrote "it only displays ads". The solution: make it sure that the user can see where the app controls are, and do away with full-screen timed ads.

It would be nice to have a standalone app for Wear OS or a companion app that allows one to create a custom button layout on the watch and use it to control our TV. You would be the first to have done a remote app for Wear OS that will allow everyone to control their Samsung TV from their wrist, without having to have an IR Blaster.

Really good app! It was simple and easy to use! Every app needs to make money somehow and the ads arent too overbearing and dont interrupt you streaming or going into other apps it just disturbs the app itself sometimes. The ads are also easily clickable ones not ones where you have to watch a someone playing a game or video ads. Compared to other apps, the ads in this app are easy to get rid of almost immediately every time.It's very easy to use and has good quality streaming which doesn'tlag!

Absolutely useless app. Simply opens the systems cast option which is already easily accessible in settings. And sooooooo many Ads! Never saw a more greedy app. Uninstalled. EDIT : Response to dev remark. Nobody is saying you shall not show ads but 4 full screen ads (!!!!) just to show me an system menu option is ludicrous. Ads are important we all know that but you have went way overboard.

I installed the app and then was almost instantly concerned that I had got some sort of spam/ adwear. It had all these ads that didn't seem to have anything to do with Miracast to my TV. So I deleted it. I reinstalled it and still the ads are all there I can't figure out how to actually make it work. What a horrible experience. If this is a legitimate app I would actually be shocked.

Works pretty well most of the time. Sometimes the picture freezes up, but that may be due to my mobile provider messing with my settings. I close out of Castto, reset my phone network settings and that usually fixes the problem. This is the only screen mirror app I use, as it is the best performer for me.

It works but it's quite clunky with several ad screens and splash screens you have to get past to discover the useful part of the app. When it works it works quite well. There is no way to simply turn off screensharing when you are done. I will try alternative apps.

Miracast for Android to TV is good app where I can cast already downloaded videos and you tube live streaming can be easily done. But when I tried to cast Amazon prime live videos, there is only audio no video. I don't know that is due to limitation of app or need of change in settings. I belive the former is true.

Only pictures get cast on to the TV, so because of the lag between my phone and TV, the sound from my phone obviously doesn't sync with the TV, which makes it unusable. I'm giving this app a benefit of doubt and giving 3 stars because it's a relatively painless process to connect despite the ads that others are complaining about and because the low resolution and the above issues I have could probably be because of the equipment I'm using.

Extremely obtrusive ads made the experience completely impractical. Full screen ads are shown after most taps on the screen. They try to trick you into clicking on them to launch other unrelated apps, making the whole process of using this one a nightmare. I was so frustrated I decided not to use this app at all. And before you say you need to earn revenue, please realize that I likely would have watched many more ads or even paid for the app had I been able to actually use your app's features

It is an amazing app that i can mirror cast my phone to tv / amplifier with chromecast / chromecast audio respectively, even those apps which do not support chromecast. The mirrored screen is smaller as my phone is longer than 16:9 in scale, just like watching wide screen movie. This app works for SMART TV only, otherwise you need miracast dongles, like chromecast, chromecast audio as mine. It will be perfect if there are check box to connect or disconnect the mirror status in notification.

I can't understand all the bad reviews. This app just works, and works well, is able to control the TV and stream all kinds of media to it. All I need and all the app was designed for. Instantly connects to the TV on the wifi network, instant discoverable dlna server. 5 stars solid. Please keep this app updated!

Used it for 2 minutes before deleting, couldn't get past the ads! Reply to Developer: I appreciate the need to show ads to make the app pay for itself, BUT, if I install the app and start it up I would at least expect to get to the main features/functionality on first startup, not go through however minutes of ads beforehand just to see what the app can actually do! As I stated above, on FIRST startup all I got was 2 minutes of ads so I had to delete the app as I assumed it was a spam app!

If you love this app & wish there was a keyboard function for tv remote go to "read more" scroll down and tap the email link to give feedback directly to developers of this app. Everyone 1 in the house has this app. We use it to control the tv as the remote has long ago disappeared.... we all just wish it had a keyboard function for the remote. I've sent an email to the developers. If enough of us do it maybe we'll get it!

Like many others said, it's filled with very invasive adds. The only thing it does anyway, is open your phone's default casting method. So so many adds. And just in case, NO I do not want to contact you for feedback or whatever. You know very well what you're doing, stop playing the innocent card. Trash!
